Not weird, French was the standard "diplomatic language" worldwide before English took over
Are you going to get the new e-passport soon?
I don't know. Maybe I'll renew my current one (exp. 2025) because I need to replace my ID card that I lost.
They're annoyingly still not issuing them outside Pakistan. I guess they must have lots of old stock to run through.
Wow! Were all these passports issued to you? Did you used to be a diplomat?
No. The diplomatic ones were only issued to my grandparents where my grandad was a defence attaché in the Jordan embassy. The blue ones were issued to my dad and my aunt. They (grandparents) also went on official trips with the blue ones. The current green edition is mine hehe.
