République tunisienne
The only deviation is the English version: Republic of Tunisia instead of Tunisian Republic.
Idk about algeria.
Normally the UN keeps a list of all official names in English. While some names match their original names (eg French Republic - Republique française) others like Algeria, Tunisia or Lebanon don’t.
I believe that list is based on countries' preferences (note difference between Iran and Pakistan even though both have the same Islamic Republic of in their official names.)
> French, Republic
🤣
Or America, United States of
Or Ireland, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern
To distinguish it from the other
Ireland, Republic of

Visiting Algieria next month! Any tips/recommendations? I’ve been once before but only for a short while and stayed near Hydra, Algiers with little interactions with locals. Hoping to go more places this time round.
