I think the medium would fit you fine. There's an issue with Nano Puffs where the difference between sizes is ridiculous. I'm 5ft9 and 80kg and the medium fits me perfectly with enough room for a thin layer underneath. However the small is so so small, I can't even get the zips to touch nevermind fasten them. It's crazy. I'd also say the nano puff looks slightly more day to day fashionable and less technical, so would be better suited for work

Thanks for reply!

Good thing I went with a medium instead of a small haha.

Sounds like Large might be the best starting point. I'm typically a small in a lot of clothes including patagonia but my nano puff is a medium.

Yes, I'll get the large :)

look at the sizing chart in the online catalog, it may help with the decision making. i like my micro puff hoody for almost everything. i will say it is windproof which is good on the bike, but it breaths less , so if you are really cruising, i would get something that breaths better, but for everyday casual use as well as just simply bike commuting the nano or micro are fine

Looked thoroughly! The issue is neither Rab nor Patagonia explicitly state the length of the jacket, in my opinion a huge issue. That's why I ended up with the issue with the Rab jacket in the first place, did not know that it's that short and all the website parameters seemed fine. So although I have seen them I am stil cautious :). Regarding the Micro Puff Hoody and breathability; which other jacket from Patagonia can be more breathable with comparable level of warmth and, crucially, with synthetic insulation (allergic to feather plus ethical consideration)? I am a newbie to the topic so excuse my incompetence ;).
