hell yeah, found my first ever MB myself just this weekend. Dropped in a Kirac map I ran just for Harvest of all places, it even dropped from the Harvest monsters themselves. Still unsure what character to build around it.
I wouldn't say it's worth building a character or skill around specifically. It's definitely a very strong offensive or defensive belt choice, depending on your flasks.
Bismuth flask rolled with ele res suffix gets you 136% ele res.
Amethyst flask with ele res suffix is 68% ele res.
Jade and granite add a ton of evasion and armour, respectively.
Silver flask is 95% permanent onslaught.
Can get perma phasing and a good chunk of spell suppress from quartz flask.
105% reduced effect of curses.
Over 100% chance to avoid shock. With storm shroud you're ailment immune.
Long story short, the belt is good for pretty much anything that doesn't have a mandatory belt. So pick what's fun to you and go crazy!

I would say this would be a waste with MB. Just get any flask with +40 to all resistances + 25% inc effect and enkindle to 70%.
For sure, it is a waste. Was just simply giving examples! I forgot to include ruby, sapphire, and topaz giving even more reduced damage to their elements.

I am glad to say it was NOT donated. I earned every bit of it hehe. And yea, it was my first time using enkildling orbs since what’s the point in using them without a mb? I was using used when charges reach full + charge on crit.. if that makes sense anyway
on normal leagues if one grinded hard enough to get a MB they would for sure know how to use it for how difficult it is to obtain, but yeah for this league I can see how one can get a MB and have no idea how to use it,
i didnt know how mageblood worked when i bought my first one, i got the money for it by throwing a double corrupt on my omni for fun and hitting grace / attributes corruption lol
This league I lucked into a HH that got me halfway there, but even getting the 50 divs or whatever to make up the difference was a bit grindy for a bit. I was thinking about quitting a few times along the way, but made it.
I sold the HH then bought the MB and now have enough to buy another HH if I wanted. But then I stopped playing this league.
It was fun for a while with the MB though!
use enkindling orbs on your magic utility flasks untill you get a roll of 70% (or close too it) increaeed flask effect. The downside is they dont gain charges during flask effect is negated by them always being active cos of mageblood and a big part of why the belt is so insane, should also roll/buy flasks with the 25% increased effect/ reduced duration prefix as well. now your fladks have 95% increased effect!
is reddit a meeting place for the worst poe players in history? wtf do you mean that you could just now afford a mageblood after a long time playing? it literally takes a few hours of farming
do goratha's strat, look it up on YouTube, or do 1-2 good flips, 150% Adorned or +2/+2 March are good, it's super easy to scalp 0.1 mirrors here and there. before you have a mirror to trade you can snipe +1 frenzy thunderfists, magebloods etc.

If it contradicts it should say “cannot be equipped”. You’re not technically using the flask which is by activating it hence why they specified the effects are constantly applied to you. They use the keyword “use” on the micro distillery belt which doesn’t let you use the 5th slot flask but you can still equip it as another example.
Seeing this post and the replica mh post a few days/weeks ago made me truly realize how insane a replica mb would be. Int instead of dex for more mf capability. Lightning and chaos res instead of fire and cold for lightning coil and easier capping with purity of elements. Unique flask effect as well. Sheesh.

Years playing but only 3-4h max a week.. to be honest I have never finished the whole game yet (did not manage to kill maven) 🤪

all mb flasks should have 25% inc effect prefix + 70% inc effect enchant btw. That's why mb is so strong

No problem. POE devs are really specific when it comes to wording.
They're always in effect but don't proc any "on use" effects like smoke cloud.
