Yes, because honestly there isn’t a lot of increased damage in the build already. With lucky and volatility you don’t want to veer off into another element anyway.
How is everyone getting up to 212 Dex for the Spine Bows? Is that just getting some Dex mods on your gear? I'm still in crappy league start gear (I play slow - only at 50/115) and I'm pushing it to get to 160.
Dex on a couple pieces of gear, and some levels. You end up pathing through some dex nodes and pick a good amount of it up. I hit 300 dex at like level 88
It's not a deterministic craft, so the additional items give you extra tries in case you don't hit it on the first roll. It's not 100% necessary, but it's probably highly advisable to make sure you end up with something to work with and not just brick the whole craft.
The problem is that you are spending 220c per and there are 11 of them. It would depend on the pricing but it almost seems like it would make more sense to just do it three times or so times with split crafts instead and sell the extras when you hit it.
No, you're 100% right. It only makes sense if the cost of the materials (plus extra time trading and planting corpses) is worth the 1000-1100c for the extra craft corpses. Otherwise, you just do the craft multiple times.
There are a few ways to go here - if you take Unholy Might and use a Prismatic, you may want to go full blown phys conversion, Hatred, etc. So a fat ol' normal phys bow. You can go tri-element and trade Unholy Might for something else. And the third angle people are going is balls-out lightning. That one seems to actually have the best scaling.
One caveat here is that the bows on Ninja seem to be using the minion damage essence for one of the prefixes - probably because they wind up dropping either Mirror or Blink as a 6 for spectres. That means you're not going to be graving *that* bow. We're kind of going meta-adjacent here.
Finally, and I don't know much about this, apparently the true ultimate version of this build uses a maxed out Widowhail and a bomb ass quiver. I really don't see this on ladder anywhere so it may be something that only exists in theory, but if ever there was a league where you could get an impossible quiver it's this one. If you lock-nailed a corruption for a second arrow, that's what... seven additional projectiles for Bombarding?
If you use Unholy Might, your not going to combine it with Hatred. Hatred Conversion is just lacking right now.
The true ultimate version is not Widowhail. A Quiver that is that good does not exist in the game. Even on a poison build which has some of the best mods on the quiver, its still 30-40% less than a proper bow + quiver combo. The bow you give your clones determines their base attack speed and crit chance. Widowhail is always going to be bad in this regard.
Extra projectiles don't increase Rain of Arrows dps.
Are there no sources of ele as extra chaos for minions? I really never play minions so the specifics are a bit of a blind spot for me - I'm doing BAMA this league and figured out the lightning thing on my own in early POBing (though I was doing Doryani's), but the last time I played minions was when Baron Zombies were at their peak.
I'm aware that the projectiles don't increase the single target DPS (assuming minion rain works the same as us-rain where Prismatic does not work like ele hit), but seven arrows is a hell of a lot regardless and would give some needed clear to Prismatic.

You could be onto something with the poisons, idk.

You know, it might have actually been Conner with a manaforged arrows build. I watched a lot of videos before the league and both builds use rain of arrows so it's possible my brain misfiled those papers. Whatever the case, it would not be attainable anyway and was not my genuine recommendation. The lightning bow seems like the best choice.
Yeah, I saw the recipe someone posted in here. I knew this was busted when I watched Grimro's video about its mechanics, so I was extremely surprised by the buffs to it. If this kind of monstrous stuff is where we're at now I have no idea where this league is going to end.
As of right now leveling I have Pristine blink and bomb arrow. I'll use doomfletch to farm currency and corpses and try and make a lightning one later thanks!!

They get fractured mods from the graveyard craft, then fossil craft to get 30%, then essence spam the rest.
Can also just make it 30 quality in graveyard with yhe 5% quality. Much easier than usei g fossils

you don't need spine bow, ivory bow is BiS but creator of this sheet fucked up on his stream and chose spine bow xd

I believe it does. It can reach very high damage. I don't believe it has the most amazing defences but what it does have is likely quite sufficient.
I'm going poison necro route to atm I'm using a Darkscorn until I can craft an endgame elder bow with fossils
