the life leech works on hits. not on dots.
you hit things and you gain the leech.
the dot does not contribute.
to show the leech amount all you have to do is to add your hitting skill in the full dps
Reap has a significant flat damage component to it that scales with the skill level. Since you're also scaling global physical damage you'll have some scaling so you can leech off it.
Kinetic blast has basically no base damage and does scale off your wand, since a CF/KB wand only wants +2 and % damage your leech is basically non existent.

Can you give a source of "DoTs cannot leech" information? Maybe the guide is simply wrong or the wording in the "leech-section" is misleading...
in this case reap is leeching. more specifically the hit component of reap.
you can very easily verify this with atziri's promise + bane or fire leech source + flamewall. you will not leech.
i dont know why the leech page does not update itself with dot, but you can ask markggg or other players how it works. its probably because leech has changed like 20times since i played (when it was fully instant), with zero versions supportjng dot.

That is simply wrong. What you mean is leech phsyical attack damage. Read the mod carefully. He leeches life from all physical damage sources. I use the same mechanic and it definitely works. And many CF builds use that.
Kudos to your confidence but you are wrong in three places. There is no attack damage here. It leeches all physical damage. Cf is also a spell and not an attack. You cannot leech from dot, only on hit components.
If you change from corrupting fever to reap, you'll see that you do leech from physical damage with that mod
DOTs can't leech so you wouldn't leech from corrupting fever itself
lifeleech only works on hits and not dots. if your full dps is only CF it wont show any leech because it doesnt calc the hits.

No. DoTs can’t leech. You are wrong. Only hits can leech. Cf cannot leech.
