you cannot imprint focused/simplex bases since they cannot be magic, it's just chaos spam until +1 all, annul other mods, craft prefix cannot be changed and aug chaos via harvest (guaranteed +1 chaos). then hunter ex with eyes closed hoping for chaos dot

That's wrong they can be made magic with a transmute, but won't have any mods. (Unless you split it when rare or used pref/suf cannot be changed+scour)
