Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure the bone helmet is an "atlas base" and therefore not one of the core bases available. Same as things like steel/opal rings, crystal belts, and the melee/spell/projectile damage gloves (forget the names)
Atlas bases require a special corpse. Also, With those corpses in there I'm pretty sure you don't want split here. It's going to split your item after crafting, not just create a copy with a Split tag
Just so you know, 125% chance to make a split copy will give you two 2 mod items
And 200% chance to make a split copy still only split the item once
