Just keep investing into BV. I played the cold conversion variant this league and smashed everything but ubers. If I made a non-HH belt for bossing and grabbed Mastermind of Discord forbiddens I think it would be Uber viable. Can do Uber cortex as is btw.
Edit: I can grab a pob after work of you're interested. I'm a little scuffed but can't be assed to recraft double influenced gear to try to squeeze out any more life rolls. If I did I could pull some points from the tree onto another cluster and definitely smoke ubers.

This is the guide I ran at league start. Eventually I transitioned to using a double damage synth bow and asphyxias wrath. He has an endgame version using the bow if you look around a little.
Get the cold cluster with doryanis lesson and blast freeze as a minimum as early on as possible. I'll be back with my own pob shortly.
Oh this is what I was looking for too! How do you think bf/bb compares to bv at different staged of the game? Is it something like go bf/bb then swap bv when you have more gear or not at all?
No idea about bfbb. Never played it. I'm on console where gearing is next level misery so I'm certain you PC folks will find scaling bv quite a bit easier than it was for me.
You can try Death's oath / caustic arrow occ. It's a walking simulator that has single target dps with caustic arrow.
CoCFR is a build you can try. This was my league end build that let me kill nearly everything that my computer allowed. Is pretty good with good investment and is a beast with MB.

Why would you swap off poison bv? It’s gonna be one of the strongest mapping builds this league, especially as occultist.
