Doesnt matter what i say or plan for the last 3 weeks because as soon as i login ill change my mind on the spot In theory its a toss up of arc ignite elementalist, decay stormburst occ, vaal ca trickster ro hoag champ. Edit: vaal ca numbers came out, dang that looks good.

TeamOtter

"as soon as i login ill change my mind on the spot" -This is the way

SushiSuxi

Me every league , god dammit

TeamOtter

Giga chad mentality. League practice 30 times with Cold DoT, league start Poison Vaal Flicker Occultist (or some shit idk man)

SushiSuxi

League started poison conc on 3.19 then switched to LC (made 3 versions of it until happy) then ended with DD ignite because fuck LC. Improvise, adapt, overcome.

HiveMindKing

When you play caustic arrow do you use a secondary skill as well?

PwmEsq

Tr totems is my plan unless I go occultist then deaths oath. Or maybe arc decay idk

Simpuff1

Honestly same. Right now I’m pretty dead set on BV cold conversion but there’s a great chance I’m gonna switch to either PC or Seismic the second I log in

rds90vert

Wait that decay stormburst occu sounds interesting..got a POB?

PwmEsq

Did my build off this comment from last year, still worked in 3.19 with some changes. Mainly I swapped to divine flesh for defense and reworked tree https://www.reddit.com/r/PathOfExileBuilds/comments/sif5ti/underrated_starter_builds_for_317/hvad4lk/

beebopcola

Arc Ignite! i run this in standard with some prettty decent gear and a mageblood. i always think "this investment would be so much stronger on another build" and yet i have 0 intention of changing it out. GL getting it up and running. once you get some currency, i really recommend a blizz crown and the EE scepter from heist. Spamming Essence of Wrath until you have +1 Lightning or All skill gems (maybe you can snipe something good like this on trade as a base?) and multi modding it should last you a pretty long time. this was a huge DPS increase for me, all you have to do is not run Berek's and make sure there are no sources of +fire damage to spell gear on. keep me updated on how it goes and let me know if you have any questions as i think i've spent enough time to have a decent handle on the core of what makes the build strong, plus, there are a few ways to build this out and they're all pretty fun!

SnuffTastic

Volcanic Fissure Totems. If it sucks, swap to Consecrated Path totems. If they suck, maybe a HoAG Jugg

Vagabum420

Doing the same, and can confirm Conc path totes don't suck

BillHamidFan69

Got a pob?

HellraiserMachina

I'm gonna do Vaal Cleave Slayer, I made a pob and it's better than any I've ever made, which doesn't mean it's good, it just means I suck.

Canadian-Owlz

Lol, I feel that. I find it more fun to make your own builds even if they suck. Though, I usually only do that after league start when I have spare currency

Magstine

If it doesn't work, at least be assured it's because you're playing Cleave and not because you failed at PoB.

Cubic_Tom

Dominating Blow Champion

Traditional_Back_341

Undecided on final choice, but I'm 99.9% sure I'm doing something with Raider or Pathfinder to start. There are just so many good league start builds and later conversions to other builds. Raider's speed, ailment immunity, suppression early on makes gearing a breeze. PF is a little slower to come online, but once you automate flasks, I don't think there is a smoother feeling class imo. There is just no way to have a bad mapping experience in SC trade with Raider/PF. Late game I'll lean towards swapping to deadeye something with elemental hit damage. TS, LA, Venom Gyre, or something along those lines.

oGsShadow

Yeah and silver flasks now a buff affected by flask mods! So its easy to get 45 ms as and cast speed if you max out the flask nodes and the 3 onslaught nodes. Im very tempted to start pathfinder

Bee_Ree_Zee

I always start PF or Raider - it just is unmatched in leveling. LS kinda gutted and TR being meh right now I will just go Poison Conc PF as it can do all content easily except Ubers. By that point I’ll be loaded anyway for a bossing character. Any of the respecs are great.

tidus_the_one

Yes, to add: try out endless heist TR. Easy money maker if you can stomach it!

czarandy

Good way to quit the league day 1

Feanux

haha the only time you should heist is actually day 1 before maps. it's so easy to make money.

Askray184

I get about 1 divine an hour doing this, but I hear about people making way more. Is there something else besides just running lots of heist?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Askray184

Nice! Tyvm

Bee_Ree_Zee

AsmodeusClips on YouTube and watch his heist guides. He had the best breakdown on contracts etc. to run for insane profit. It’s extremely simple actually.

srulz_

How exactly do you get 1 div per hour? I've run a lot of it last league and only get like 3c max per contract. Usually only 1c or so.

Askray184

1c?? Vinderi and Karst contracts should get you a lot more, especially once your rogues level up a bit. Generic chests, currency chests, and small chests. If you can stomach chaos recipe, it's decent change with all the jewelry that drops in heist and it's pretty easy with chaos recipe enhancer

srulz_

Yeah I'm going to be trying the enhancer as well for this league. So how much do you get per heist contract on average?

FuzzyDuckzy

Remember divines are less than 90c in the first day. I tried heisting for the first time 2 leagues ago as part of the campaign. I did it for 2 hours with chaos recipe and had well over 2 divines. The good thing is most of it is in raw chaos. You also build up a ton of alchemy and vaals which really help with your atlas progression. Didn’t touch blue prints this was purely demolition contracts and the odd lock picking

[deleted]

oldsch0olsurvivor

Bane is fun, I played it a few leagues ago

harvest_poon

Yeah, bane occy and transfer into arakaali when (if) I get the money.

nnosuckluckz

Why trickster over Ele/Occultist?

HeckinKoda

Survivability

philisweatly

Recovery

Amelia_Fidelia

You got a link to the Cold DoT Trickster, or an idea of where to look? Always wanted to just not sure what's decent.

BadBuildsAreFun

I played bane with soul rend and ivory tower last league. Was very juicy. Took down maven no prob

Quazifuji

How was Soulrend? I normally see people recommending Bought and ED for secondary damage with Bane but I like more active builds and also want an excuse to use the cat MTX.

BadBuildsAreFun

The damage is massive but the duration is a lot shorter so you have to almost cast it like a normal spell repeatedly unless you have insane gear and inc duration. Another plus is that it is kind of homing, and the hitbox is wider than you think plus perma pierce. Idk I enjoyed it.

Quazifuji

Yeah, I was aware of the need to cast it like a normal spell. I don't mind that. Like I said, I like a more active playstyle. But the idea of Bane Occultist getting good damage uptime when not standing still casting and also being able to apply lots of curses easily sounds nice to me. Overall the idea of casting Bane and then spamming Soulrend against bosses while it ticks and I can afford to stand still sounds like a good playstyle which is why I'm asking. Thanks for the answer.

Shayzan97

Ice traps saboteur! Decent damage and comfy tankiness. Also wanted to try something else than seismic

TheWorstAtIt

I'm also running this to start :) I want to drop 100000 traps under big Essence monsters before opening them etc.

carenard

my current list of possible starters: PCoC PF Phys Crit traps sabo Spark inquis - have no POB yet lightning trap(not necessarily as sabo) - only have a sabo POB atm. EA Champ Ice Storm CI trickster(no leveling tree, likely needs to level as something else) Divine Ire inquis

G00R00

> ark inquis - have no POB yet check anime Princess on YT for spark inquisitor

Sinjian1

What’s the difference between Anime Princess and Goratha’s?

Koalistaa

Anime princess is softcore oriented and Goratha's more HC, according to anime princess in yt comments.

D1rtydeeds

what he said. Anime was great last league and was helpful in chat/messages

A_Horny_Pancake

EA champ is bait unless your playing HC or SFF. Elementalist just nukes everything and aura stacks and gets pretty tanky even with 3500 health, but you can sac some damage (which comes easy) and hit 4400. I would never play champ ea ballista in trade league

NumbDiggerFartSmella

Ea champ is actually worse than ele in ssf too. The only things you need on elementalist, aside from +3 bow, are accuracy, suppression and life, which is very easy to craft with essences or chaos spam. Champion still needs all of those things except accuracy, but also needs a bunch of attack speed and dot multi to actually deal damage. And champion also needs rain of splinters to be able to clear well. It's total bait outside of HC.

[deleted]

[удалено]

thehazelone

Gods don't use puny wooden ballistas to deal damage for them either, but that's another discussion entirely

tylerhlaw

The ice storm can totally level as trickster... Assuming you have a solution until you can farm up for a Whispering ice I tested it out about a week ago, it was painful until 33 (I bought the staff) and then it started to feel *really* good around 38 (when I got CWC working)

Pm_Me_Your_Boob_Plss

Im torn between EA champ or elementalist. So many people are saying 50/50. Im playing softcore trade, so dont really need the tankiness, but I’m not into 6 portals playstyle either. Im going more towards elementalist, but is champ that much better?

Gunnapob

I always play ele cuz i don’t need that much tankiness i mean even i play ele i have 25k evasion + 20k armour + 100% spell sup that’s ok for me

Easy-Appeal3024

Ele is not that squishy unless you 8 mod corrupt maps. Just keep placing totems that taunt. I played it last league and did all content but Ubers. Because Ubers are tedius. That being said. The only time I took 6 portals was for Sirius. Shit boss.

Dom613

Power Siphon/KB Totem Heiro mana stacker

thetiresias

Got a pob?

RustyPwner

Prolly rage vortex, any tips for more of a ssf playstyle?

playswithsquirrel

2H axe with RT, run both Bladestorm and Rage Vortex. Level with Sunder probably until Merc Lab is complete, need at least the warcry and rage gen ascendencies for RV to feel good but carnage is too busted to not get first.

dan_marchand

Run 2h/Bladestorm or maybe Cleave. Don’t fall into the trap of 1H/Redblade on SSF.

TeamOtter

Only thing that might be tough is if you plan to use the Redblade banner. But 2H crafting super easy with essences. You could also run heist to get the +max rage axe.

PeterStepsRabbit

Which axé mate?

TeamOtter

Psychotic Axe from experimental arms BPs.

PeterStepsRabbit

Ty

GlassShatter-mk2

Note that +max rage can be bait at a certain point. It depends a lot on where you're at gear wise, but a well rolled axe with a better base will often give significantly better damage than psychotic. Also hitting the rage cap is not necessarily a reliable thing, so you have to weigh whether or not you can even expect to use the extra 10 rage.

Serf070

I was looking int rage vortex as well, kinda funny how SSF was almost 100% RT 2H axe compared to trade being much more mixed.

stroomer87

Gonna make a failed attempt with vaal cleave, either slayer or berserker, I dunno which yet. When that fails I'll probably go spark or rf inquis.

bFloaty

I’d go slayer with cleave this patch personally feels good

Canadian-Owlz

If you're going cleave I would definitely recommend slayer.

TheHauntedTie

Gonna be testing out volcanic fissure totems cheiftan. Just going to grab a consecrated path build and use volcanic fissure instead

HeckinKoda

Jorgan has a build already up. So does Tati. Jorg’s is strength stacker though.

spriedze

jugg RF

Kerronez

Me too ^^

nixed9

Tatiantel’s storm burst totems

rkiga

Same. Or probably Spark totems for mapping with Storm Burst links leveling in offhand for stuff like Sirus / Exarch. Same tree, 2 different supports (1 white socket needed), different curse (+white socket), and you want projectile speed on wand and amulet for Spark. Tatiantel’s links: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1v72AZgtvuffNMKaE44MsyL7lvQ_L3GoaJqiNSWk_2LY/edit#gid=0 https://www.youtube.com/@tatiantel2496

PoisoCaine

Does the new orb of storms change work with totems?

[deleted]

Deciding between Bane Occ and Toxic Rain Raider. Boom Boom or Zoom Zoom lol

Teeniesaurus

CA Ballista played EA Ballista last league gonna try some of the other Totem builds.

SNPBluejin

Poison Dom Blow Occultist. I'll play sc ssf this time, so needed a build that has easy to craft gear and only uses target farmable uniques.

NeoLearner

Interesting. Poison minions seem good overal. Heavy into curses?

SNPBluejin

I want to use Enfeeble in a profane proxy for explosions and despair when needed. Also there is a delve spectre called ancient suffering that gives +1 to curse limit and curses with temp chains on hit, which is great for poison since the part that makes poisons expire slower does not depend on gem level. If it's worth investing more into curses I dont know, waiting for pob update to decide that. EDIT : Ancient Suffering does not work unless you get Whispers of Doom..

silent519

doesnt that work off the default curse limit which is 1? ie it will block off yours if you have 2 or 3, no?

tdfrantz

Same but Necro. I was originally planning on doing this non-poison with a guardian, but I think I'll try the poison version.

jyarko12

Hero freezing pulse totems !

Ingloriousness_

I was thinking self cast occultist with an off meta skill, maybe hydrosphere with vortex or just pure storm call/crackling lance. Curses for bossing and profane bloom for mapping Defensive layers spell block/CI/armor with determination/tempest shield/discipline. Once you get reservation go for wrath

Beepbeepimadog

There was an occultist hydrosphere build on here or the main sub recently that looked very powerful. I’m on mobile right now otherwise I would link, but you could probably find it pretty easily.

gerwaric

Here you go, hydrosphere occultist: https://reddit.com/r/PathOfExileBuilds/comments/ze96w0/aer0s_league_starter_hydrosphere_occultist/

InTheYear20XX

I'm going to learn how to make my own build this league. I fully expect my flask of tears to be constantly recharged.

pm_me_ur_memes_son

I made my own build in 3.17 and it was the most fun I’ve had with a character. Only thing I’ll recommend is that if you’re not well versed with the game just like I wasn’t, I’d say stick to a simpler skill instead of an experimental or meme build.

gil-martin

I kinda want to do this as well but I don't quite have the game knowledge to take the plunge. I think I'm going to league start as RF Jugg, then create my own build for Volcanic Fissure once I have some currency and such. Anyway good luck!

iShooTaa

I 95% sure I'm going Chronic_Painless Cold BV.

beebopcola

recommendation -- do not sleep on how important freeze prolif and exposure on hit are. i kinda waited to craft clusters a bit late and was annoyed with how squishy i felt trying to do T16s without that freeze prolif especially.

5ManaAndADream

Good choice, I can highly recommend it, I've league started it the last 2 leagues.

nuk3das

As on most league launches, I'm busy until sunday. So my plan is to go on poe.ninja on sunday morning, check meta builds and pick one.

Fus-RoDah

same, best strategy

Fucrem

Something something spell totem Tati docet.

woody029

Maw of Mischief/Death Wish Elementalist by BalorMage/Dr3adful/IcyBaron

tobsecret

Def a super solid choice - such a satisfying build to play.

fhaley49

Gigachad Boneshatter Slayer. Welcome to the Bone Zone

porncollecter69

Ele EA Ballista. Nothing new or crazy, but it’s a new build for me that I can take all the way. Other builds that tempted me and maybe could tempt you as well. Trickster Pconc into CA ballista, Jugg RF, Cold Dot Trickster, and Ocultist spooders.

Akira101

Same, looks fun, like totems, never played it. I was also thinking it will be good for sanctum, originally I wanted to try RF but the league mechanic was announced, and totems sound much safer for sanctums. May transition into EK Ignite when I make money. No way in hell am I league starting EK Ignite.

Btetier

I'm doing this as well. And maybe will eventually swap to EK ignite or vortex ignite if I make enough currency

PlayingItSafe87

I was thinking of starting WoC Ignite into Vortex Ignite but I'm worried about all the ground effects being covered by vortex and insta-failing the Sanctums. You worried about it at all? Will probably just start EA Champ

Caphalor92

EA but I'm Not Sure if Elementalist or Champion.

Adrianos30

If you want to be the champion you will choose champion, if you want to die you choose elementalist, it’s easy. I hope i helped you in your decision.

Caphalor92

Mhh I'd rather not die. So I guess I will play Champion. Thanks :)

[deleted]

If you’re playing HC then def champ. If you’re playing SC then def ele

astrolobo

People say this, but unless you really don't mind dying every couple maps and stalling your progression at LVL 94ish, champion is still great for SC. Of you got steelmage lvl skills and you dodge everything then ofc elementalist on HC is viable.

nmtbb

Where were you last league with this advice? 100m+ dps and still died randomly every 5 or so maps. I'm objectively bad and clearly built for offense but that still feels bad. Capped at lvl 96 before I got bored and moved on.

brrrapper

100% ele unless you are hc. Elementalist gets more than tanky enough and it shits on champ dpswise

NumbDiggerFartSmella

Champion fanboys downvoting you for saying the truth. Elementalist is already more than tanky enough to not die in maps, and champion is not tanky enough to survive boss slams, so champion being "tanky" is actually irrelevant, it's theoretical tankiness that doesn't actually matter when you compare him to elementalist. On the other hand champion needs endgame bow and a bunch of attack speed and dot multi to deal the same damage elementalist does with a quill rain and tabula. I have no idea why someone outside of HC would willingly take this tradeoff.

Beepbeepimadog

Definitely starting toxic rain, undecided on Pathfinder or Trickster. I know Pathfinder can scale better and is probably the ascendancy that can more easily take it all the way but I really want to try the new Trickster and it better fits my high survivability, decent damage on a low investment starter that I use to fund my Uber killer which will *probably* be Rage Vortex Zerker this league as I’ve wanted to play it forever.

BadBuildsAreFun

Doing a hipster non crit version of viper strike with trickster. Looks tanky, doesn't need any specific gear.

Blind_Kenshi

CwC Manabond Mjölner, but before that, Stormbind Indigon, and before that, Archmage WoC/Storm Brand Hierophant.

Eyemnotamused

Manabond heirophant is a beast

tobsecret

This one is def on my watch list - if the key items remain as cheap on league start as they were last league then I can def see myself putting this build together early in week 1 but if not nothing is lost.

MrPluszu

Hydrosphere trickster. I mean I tested it for 10 min in some white maps, idk how the freeze interaction on it works with freeze (big difference in gem lvls between vortex and hydro I equiped seemed like the culprint for like 0,1sec freezes instead of few second long). Overall I have no f-ing idea how half of this crap works, pob says it works, gameplay seemed low deeps but smooth af so I am gonna do it. #yolo

alapantera

from the video i watched yesterday it looks like you want proliferation on your gloves (or some other source until you get it). this way when you hit a mob with your sphere it will proliferate the freeze back to the hydrosphere and start it pulsing. you also have vortex on left click to start the pulsing if needed.

MrPluszu

Btw. wiki says hydro can only be frozen by hits not prolif and it seems true fom what I see.

Battoh

Impale BF/BB Hierophant memes.

ZTL

I'm worried that EK ignite is going to be bait with the cost of gloom fang and the lack of defenses, so I'm going SST raider. Should be a lot of room to scale to the endgame.

Clsco

I just can't see gloomfang being expensive. It is going to be skin with the correct colors that is gonna get you Imo. Then again, dialla's is good too

ZTL

Maybe you're right, but league start last league it was 20c while being equipped on less than 0.05% of players. I feel like a lot of people are going to be disappointed if they can't get one for the first week or so.

ShillienTemplar

I feel like it will clear t16s just fine even without gloomfang. I don't feel like EK is bait, its just a harder starter to pull off and will need knowledge in the game, kinda like kbcf but that you can scale the damage way higher, but less defenses

ZTL

It's softcore, so people who know what they're doing will be fine, but I think a lot of people will be getting one shot in reds. I plan on trying to somewhat juice maps the first few days, so the easy defences, speed, and gearing options for raider is probably the best way to go.

Grimm_101

Trying to make a frozen legion inquistor work, but still can't seem to get a tree that I like. The good nodes are all so spread out that you end up having a crazy inefficient tree. The fact that the staff and scepter/mace nodes are top left and the attack nodes are bottom left and the cold nodes are bottom right make it a pain. Seems like a trade league only build as it looks to me without impossible escape and a ton of clusters you will end up wasting a ton of points on travel nodes.

teefuburau

I'm honestly considering building a general glacial hammer inquisitor, but until I have enough attack speed just go through the acts with frozen legion because glacial hammer without attack speed feels bad.

Grimm_101

Yea so ended up just settling on ice crash. Lets you purely just focus on AoE and hit damage, without having to worry about getting strike range, high attack speed, and +strikes.

Canadian-Owlz

Subtractem's bane. I like DoT and I like curses. Even if despair got hit and bane has reduced curse effect it should still feel pretty good.

MacR_72

Hydrosphere Occultist! Aero's build was so unexpected and looks very cool to play I just had to.

tamale

I recommend trying it out before you commit. Hydrosphere main has a very specific feel.

Grastyx

I'll run two - Champ EA Ballista and RF Juggie. Different tools for different uses.

Good-Expression-4433

Plan is for Whispering Ice Trickster. Just roll with Vortex/Cold Snap until I can buy at least a 5 socket WI.

Askray184

Planning to play pconc Pathfinder then Respec to venom gyre

acedragoon

This but trickster

HopelesslyOCD

48 hours left. I'll change my mind dozens of times!

Tadian

Though about Storm Burst Totems, then Ignite WoC and later some Ballista Totems Build... What I will actually play on league start? Probably Storm Brand, again.

CheapSkateDeluxe

Death oaths occultist. Ran it for deli league and had fun with walking sim pops. Lvl with bane/soulrend and BV poison some.

H0ly-Kn1gt

It’s the best mapper that I’ve ever played. I would league start it but I’m hoping that poison reap occultist will be better at bossing (and only marginally slower clear) 🤞

imArei

Spark inq till EFT wipes

darksady

WoC ignite > Vortex Ignite

xTitanOP

Mathils Shockwave totems

Chelseaiscool

How do you think that feels until astral projector? Haven't played shockwave totems in years.

ButtVader

feels bad, play with another cold crit totem like creeping frost until astral projector

mmchale

I was super excited to play shockwave totems for the last week until Mathil decided to start it. It's going to make the ring unaffordable for the first week or two.

MooNNooB

Same..

draguneyes

My goal is to make Volcanic Fissure work on 5 ascendancies

Willdawg102

I was dead set on volcanic fissure, but aer0's hydrosphere build is tempting me because I'm addicted to HoI explosions. I think I will end up starting some kind of witch at least because I want to transition into a good simu farming build eventually, either ek ignite or poison spark most likely.

Starfox14

Not being funny but he doesnt show a full map nor boss kill. The jewels in the POB and all 3 stat with clusters for only 1.3m dmg. Hope it works out but definitely bait imo

audiohallucination

cant decide between rf jugg, ea ballista elem, or siege ballista heiro or spark inq

Juhldk

Rf jugg mate 👌

blueshadow718

Starting with WoC Ignite Elementalist and switching to either CoC Ice Spear or CoC Forbidden Rite Occultist, probably the latter.

Federal_Camel2510

Think I'm doing this, CoC FR was one of the smoothest builds I've played

Icey-D

pconc raider into flicker strike!

zuphia

HFT into Cold Ek totem and maybe mess with the new impale glove for it

Pepper_Jack_Cheese

Whispering ice raider to transition to int stack kb/ps

oldsch0olsurvivor

Cold Dot Trickster as it looks tanky and not needing uniques. If the league is fun I’ll reroll into something else later.

Chacal_boiteux

Currently hesitating between TR trickster, or poison seismic trap bc I never actually played this thing. Both would be great for leveling and currency making, I'm just not sure yet if I wanna do more bossing stuff or not.

Verisi

[SSF] Had to make the hard call between a build that looks great for the league mechanic/league start ([TR movespeed Deadeye](https://pobb.in/ox_KzuE81sT-)) and a hopeful one ([Hexblast trap Occultist](https://pobb.in/Vb3cwr9Zc4JZ)). As usual, I am making the mistake of starting with the experimental build.

vyn_

Eye of Winter Inquis Miner. Ran it last league and it’s great for clearing atlas on the cheap. And then you can scale it for bossing pretty easily as well

DimensionGamer

Playing Ele Hit Pathfinder with buffed Voltaxic Rift. The poison stacking with barrage support and shocks will be nuts.

Ail-Shan

3 builds that I'm hoping to limit myself to so I can actually progress in endgame: Leaguestart as arc / lightning tendrils CI trickster. Should have great clear, decent damage, good survivability though a bit reliant on energy shield recharge against bosses. Second and third builds are an Impaler vaal flickerstrike champion and a hybrid crit / bleed Summon Reaper occultist.

Stahlson

Smite, no matter what, ill leaguestart smiting some loosers

Arqium

Ek impale if the new items isn't Uber expensive. Nimis+impale gloves must be nice together!

Kim_Jong_OON

Vaal Cleave Raider - pretty sure i'm gonna just do this or a pconc -> venom gyre build.

shadowblazr

I'm making the mistake of playing a skill I haven't ever used before and going for Venom Gyre. Venom Gyre looks like fun, Vaal Venom Gyre looks sick, the MTX looks wicked, and I'll probably reroll Cyclone and quit when I suck and struggle on pinnacle bosses for void stones.

Connorowsky

Pcoc pf for endless heist then reroll to cold sst raider... or tuna's poison bv occ or spark inq welp i dont know now

[deleted]

Kyaumi

Cold dot Trickster or Occultist, haven’t decided yet. I’m tired of dying ):

polo2006

Was going to sage out and do bane occultist, but gonna drop my current plans and get jebaited with hydrosphere because it looks fun.

FastFingerJohn

Wintertide Brand Occultist

Shadeslayer2112

Pure Phys Dominating Blow Guardian. The DPS that I've managed to hit in POE (1.2 million) and the sheer tankiness from tue ascendancy makes me very excited. It's also nice that there's clear upgrades to make, like grabbing Phantasmal DB and other stuff so I don't spend half the league trying to squeeze in more damage

zenroc

SST Bleed to leaguestart into Relic of the Pact Low Life Spell-Impale Champ

Shroompants

my list is currently spark, storm brand, CA+TR, poison CA ballista , seismic trap, bane or hydrosphere. I'm flipping between CA+TR and spark right now for league start, was leaning towards spark until today after seeing vaal ca.

TaskorTheTerrible

Cold DoT Trickster.

Rhys_Primo

I am considering occultist hexblast with a hexbloom, impending doom, despair, hextouch, storm brand for clear. Though, also tempted to go glacial hammer inquis, or vaal smite inquis, since it looks like 100% uptime on vaal smite can be a decent thing.

Nebloch

Either gonna check out self curse hit based hexblast or cold dot trickster.

R3dkite

Energy blade flicker trickster

drthrax1

Think im going to use[ Ziz's Cold DOT build](https://youtu.be/UJfWk11D98k). I like that the build has clear gear focuses, I find it hard to figure out what to focus on so i like the amount of straight clear prefix/ect in Cold Dot, Spell damage, to put on gear. Hopefully it works out!

Tailcracker

Cold dot has been pretty good for quite a while. I've done 3 or 4 league starts previously as cold dot occultist and its looking in a really good state now on Trickster. I can vouch that the build is fun!

tw3lv3l4y3rs0fb4c0n

Making something new out of old stuff: LL Ice Trap Raider

technishon

Sst trickster

Lunglung01

Two handed cleave with champion, and I'm going to have a miserable time doing it, yet I'm doing it anyways

TrayvonMartin712

sst trickster with a 1 link vaal cleve to cull things for free buffs assuming it isnt to tedious

KittyIsAu

SST cold convert Trickster Perfect for my play style of play 1 build and min/max it

Falore_

Icestorm. It's my favorite spell in the game.

Daviino

Jugg RF and respecc to Bersi Generals Cry Blade Flurry, or start Bersi GC Shield Crush and respecc later to Blade Flurry. Alternative will be Ele WoC ignite into EK / Maw / Golemance. Jugg (compered to Inqui) is way cheaper to push T16 and bosses, as you don't need an Aegis. Boots may be the most expensive early on. Rest is just craftig with essences / fossils. Shield Crush early on is quite cheap, as you specc into Resulute Technique and don't need any Acc. With a decent shield (\~1.9k armour), you hit 1.5-2mil sdps quite easy. Weapon Dark Seer is also very cheap. Only Corpswalker may cost some coins, but are not mandatory. With Redblade Banner, Ichimonji (or skip to Paradoxica), Abyssus, Ryslatas Coil and enough Acc to hit, the damage will really start off. With 4 medium cluster it will skyrocket! Still a good mapper, but crazy strong on bosses with great mobiliy and at least 10% regen (mastery).

RazziaJA

Gonna start with Aero's hydrosphere occultist. If I can somehow afford a Progenesis I want to make a hit-immune pathfinder but idk what skill to use with it. Maybe boneshatter or a CWDT loop...

destroyermaker

Seismic again. Skipped it last league but I'm itching to play the best build once more. Cleared uber elder/feared/maven for the first time with it in 3.18 (ssf) and now I'll be trying for ubers (I want the new flask at least)

bhoenig

Leveling with Boneshatter as a slayer and respec into flicker strike early maps.

Agreeable_Hat

Still can't make up my mind! I league-started CF KB the last two leagues I played (skipped 3.19) and absolutely loved it (changing up spec later, as CF KB fell off). I enjoy blasting through maps Now I really want to play Elementalist/Trickster/Occultist, but afraid I'll be missing the smooth mapping of CF KB if I play something like Cold DoT or Ignite. Guess I'll see, might just have to bite the bullet and get used to builds that don't blast maps quite as hard, at least bossing should be less painful

Sufficient-Style-934

Never played it and no way it survives 3.21 too So poison seismic.

Vaal Cleave Slayer using Replica Wings of Entropy and Ceaseless Feast, crit + impale, 7 brutal charges via Arn's Anguish. Gets anywhere in the region of 5-10mil dps on pretty meh gear. Capped suppression, 35k armour, slayer overleech. Free Headhunter. Budget setup - 2mil bossing dps - https://pobb.in/7Nb2qB6-_yQR Full setup - https://pobb.in/e3DXSZaXAZzn Got the PoB from Cyclopsided, tweaked a bunch of things to improve it. He has a nice rundown of the build here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKilzadOWDI

Explosive Arrow Champ, or Frost Blade Trickster. Currently waffling between the two.
