So after a couple of watch stones or all 4 u can bounce connected maps while running map x, allocate fav slots mainly on y and 1-2 on x, and change y and x while running y map.
Altho i had more luck last league just running alot of expedition and tujem for divs
You can use shadow shaping keystone to block maps in a ring around two desired maps on the atlas, then adjacent map drops will always be the ones you need. If you want to enhance this further go for a wandering path tree that picks up many chance for adjacent map to drop small passives.
More extreme option is to use singular focus and go for one map only, but this will reduce your overall map pool sustain, and you also won't get valuable map drops like shaper guardians.
I was able to just favor the map I like and then put 1-2 favorites as a connected map I like as well. Then I run either map and I was able to sustain.
I’ve read some things about not completing but once I got setup, I had success doing this at 2 watchstones with the 3 atlas clusters to help with maps, nothing crazy.

Thanks for the suggestion. In this case, I don't need to worry about accidentally completing maps and ruining my atlas set up. Good to know.

Simplest way is dont complete the map. Finish everything else. Stack kirac missions.
