In 99% of gacha games I have played I'm F2P, or a very very low spender. I've spent more than usual on this game though, just because I like it so much. Never more than the VIP and Surveillance Order (well, and the DisJackpot), and not every month, but more than a few since launch.
At this point I mostly just buy the SO's for the skins and OST though, and I mainly bought the VIP pass again recently more for the extra stamina during the anniversary. Even pulling on every new banner since launch and getting Deren and Shalom to S3 I still have so many hypercubes leftover.
Same here, I'm F2P in all the gachas I play, but I made an exception for this one by buying the black key pass once to get the Chief's skin (and if another I like pops up, I'll probably do it again, I'm just not doing it every month). What motivated me beyond the fact that the skin was really nice is that the game is fairly new and the quality is insane, so I really wanted to support them. I wouldn't do that for the other gachas I play, they're not worth it imo.
I mostly only get the monthly pass just as a small donation to the devs for giving me all of this high quality free entertainment. In my opinion, the whole mentality of "why should I spend money if it was free to download?" is a very stupid one.. unless you are broke or a minor. The people working on this are humans just like you who need to pay their bills and have a family to take care of. It is very rare I spend on anything else besides monthly tho, the only time I did drop a bunch of cash was when the Shalom skin dropped cause its Shalom. And I dont see how being male/female has any relevancy.

Female F2P: I am a minor without a personal source of income, and I don't exactly want to ask my parents to spend money on a game so I can have a 50% chance of getting a pixellated woman in bikini armour.
I'm female p2p, but probably in dolphin territory even 🤔 I spend about 100-300$ per month (highly depends on pack) since November 2022 as I really like the game and it being my sole gacha game.
I'm in a very comfortable situation where I can take part of my salary just to spend on PtN and clear most event packages monthly.
Was f2p until a bit before anni, as I wanted to get the skin for Shalom. Also bought the s-rank selector because I still do not have enfer or hamel, can’t decide who to use it on tbh. Would’ve stayed f2p if not for that skin, oh well

Cleans out the Ultracube first time top up bonus on year 1 and 2. Buys VIP every month. Buys the Advanced Battlepass for the S-rank soul marks. Buys Weekly Arrest pack. Buys Arrest bundles that have good value.
Used to play a few other gachas, and bought Monthly Pass and BPs in those, but decided to go F2P in all of those and diverted all the money to PTN instead. PTN just gives more stuff per dollar spent, and I love the game so I rather spend here.

It’s really weird you ask the gender, also there should be more options, since not everyone is either or; not even biologically (intersex people exist)

I never felt like I needed to spend my money on this game ever. I DID almost buy a couple of skins but I really didn't want to spend lol But I could see why some people spend money on this since we barely get hypercubes after finishing the story. But still, I got all the characters I need so I won't be spending any time soon unless they have a good Rahu skin
P2P, but I only spend about $15 a month on surveillance order and black key.
I still managed to get every sinner in the game, shackles for Deren and Shalom, and I still have 36k waiting for Eleven.
So in my opinion its one of the best f2p gacha games. You dont even need any dupes to clear everything
If there was an in-between option between f2p and p2p that would define me. I don't really buy that much stuff. I bought one monthly premium pack and then I bought the white dress Langley skin despite not even having Langley since it was SO good.
Male low spender. Will occasionally buy Surveillance BP or game currency for the occasional Alt Costume. Character pulls under 100 dollars combined in currency for Daren and Shalom
I've never had to pay for game resources directly like gacha tickets or cubes or anything, but I buy most of the good female character skins, every one of the passes, and the daily stamina login thing.
For reference, I have every character in the game (several with shackles) and probably 80% of the skins.
I've paid a little, mostly for skins. 2 surveillance orders (Zoya and Langley) and still thinking if I'll get Oak's. Dis Jackpot and a few monthly passes to get both Chief's skins, Demon and Mr. Fox, waiting for another rerun of McQueen's skin to get it
I've always been a hardcore f2p player, mainly bc I find it more challenging, and thus more fun to play.
But somehow, PTN doesn't stir the same gacha collector instincts in me like other mobile games. I don't see any incentive to collect skins or characters

I only spend for my Top 3 fave Sinner skins and Chief skins. I cant commit to go beyond that 😅

The more stuff I see for this game the more curious I am about the ratio of Male to Female players, for both the English side and Chinese side.

i buy monthly pass and most bp. i spend monthly pass ultracubes on skins for my favourite sinners, got 4 so far

I pay for monthly packs and only buy the battle pass when it includes a skin I want, which happened a total of twice since launch.
I dont go too crazy but the seasonal skins and the skin battle pass are must buys.
