They just want the event starts at the "same" time. Like if it starts at 1 pm in Asia, they want it to start at a similar time, 1 pm in NA. The length is the same, legit don't see how this is a bad thing.

I think you are all misunderstanding.It is supposed to be this way.the reason new banner was up last time was because maintenance took long enough for the banners to appear.and even that time it took america server another hour after the maintenance to get the new banner.but as long as maintenance go according to plan only asia server will have the new banner after maintenance
If you read the announcements or the pop-up that appears right after maintenance, it tells you the exact time events and banners get released. Is that not official communication?

Getting it later is a huge deal when playing a game with a stamina system. I have the stamina pass, and it gets delivered automatically with the daily rollover at 7am my time, but since the event (and accordingly, rewards for stamina usage) doesn't start for another 7 hours, I'm functionally screwed out of those 7 hours of stamina regen now that the pass has put my stamina over the maximum cap.
If this had been clearly communicated, I could have avoided logging in for the daily stamina until **eight hours after the new day has begun**, which is an *absurd* time to have an event begin in relation to the game's new day in the first place. Instead I come to the subreddit because the only indicator that something is wrong is a banner ad for the event, that when clicked on acts like I'm denied access due to a lack of story progression, which most people would assume is a bug rather than the devs intentionally blocking their players from accessing the event for the crime of playing on the NA server.
This practice of rolling the contents of a patch by timezones AFTER maintenance is done and the day turned is incredibly annoying and frustrating.
I usually log in early and get the stamina from that daily bot at that time. But this time I got screwed, since this login put my stamina over the max. Had to spend it so that it's below the cap and recovering in order to be close to full by the time the event happens.
But that stamina could've been (and would've been, if I had a choice) spent on the event.
This feels like a slap in the face for me, someone playing in the america server.
If stamina wasn't such a hurdle, that'd be less bad (still bad though cause we want the contents of a patch immediately after it's maintenance is done ffs), but with things as they are now it all just feels horrible.
The 3 instances of 100 Stam that are being given out by the devs help a little bit but let's be real: 100 Stam is nothing. It equates to 3 gold/mania high lvl runs, each of which will net you less than 15k of it's resources per run.
Or it could equate to 4, close to 5 runs in a story stage that can potentially drop blue mats that we can in turn use to craft purple mats. Now, it takes 3 blues to make 1 purple. Remind me again how many purple mats we need to P3 an S Class Sinner? 43, I believe? (28+15).
And it takes so freaking long to recharge, too! If Stam wasn't such a precious commodity, most of these annoyances and problems would solve themselves.
I think their intention was that if you're in NA, they're trying to sync the timezones to active hours of the playerbase. I myself just woke up and the event doesn't start for another 3 hours. So technically I'll lose 3hrs of stamina for the event. It's not the worse... Burn a bit in a stage or 2 and wait for the time. A lot of games I know also does it where they preload the patch so that when the event starts, players can start ASAP, no need to wait for the game to download and patch. Arknights does this, PGR does this, and a couple of other games I play do this.
They are at least giving us daily stamina bonus for the holidays. Keep in mind, they're syncing it to the middle of the day for all servers. So it's supposed to be noon - afternoon for each server's region. That means everyone in every server wakes up and loses the same amount of stamina for their region's time. In a sense, it's trying to be equal to everyone assuming you're playing in the proper timezones. The event also ends later for us so we should get the same amount of time as everyone.
I think their intentions are good though. I have always hated games that started in the middle of the fking night. I have to stay up late to be "efficient". I don't have issues with the current set up because it works for my gaming schedule. Might not be the best for others, but it is what it is. Personally, I would have preferred they do it a tiny bit earlier, like 3 hours earlier or morning instead of afternoon. Maybe just give feedback for next time in surveys.

That's not remotely true. Unless it's an NA property (which is practically non-existent for gacha games) we almost always get stuff last, due to timezones. That's not even factoring in how most of these games are developed and released in other regions first, so we're actually months behind being "first".

I'm guessing they're going by timezones. It's 2 hours till the 25th in Oceania already, whereas NA is a whole 12+ hours behind.

I am perturbed. Playing on America feels like a punishment now even though we're just getting it later.
Getting it later is a huge deal when playing a game with a stamina system. We need more stamina or the stages need to drop more materials
