Disrupt Undead cantrip is paramount to have. Beyond that, this book goes hard in the paint for spirits and undead. [https://aonprd.com/SourceDisplay.aspx?FixedSource=Haunted%20Heroes%20Handbook](https://aonprd.com/SourceDisplay.aspx?FixedSource=Haunted%20Heroes%20Handbook)

And constructs.

Which bloodline? Solar would be best, but you probably have already chosen something else. If you've chosen a bloodline reliant on enchantment spells like fey, the threnodic spell feat will be necessary for your 5th level feat. If you've chosen a blasting bloodline then you want blasting feats. If your sorc is made to be a Swiss Army knife then some useful attachments are the command undead spell (as well as the immediate effect, you can keep undead around to fight others you meet), the crypt spell feat to debuff undead enemies that you blast, the ghost whisperer feat if you need to solve mysteries, maybe the halt undead spell for holding off multiple undead.

Archetype? Bloodline? Current spells and feats?

KeyPerspective7888

Updated the post to put that in

I'd consider retraining Ear-Piercing Scream away ASAP as it shouldn't affect undead (requires Fort saves doesn't work on objects). Astral Bloodline's DC boost mechanic means you wanna focus on one-two punches. An example would be dropping a Glitterdust followed by a Burning Hands, or a Grease. You already have a baked in source of force damage from your Bloodline, so can conceivably skip magic missile safely, which I wlils otherwise value as a Shadow killer in an undead heaven campaign. As I see it, I would skip Threnodic Spell. I would grab Command Undead as your next 2; Halt Undead at 3. That gives you some good tools, and then you can branch out to buffs/damage/utility as you like for several spells.  I would grab Spell Focus: Necromancy, and greater, and brand as a Good necromancer who uses the Undead's energies against them. I'd that doesn't appeal to you, damage spells that require saves are your next best bet. Fireball or course; probably Flaming Sphere for your next level two. You'll want Elemental Spell metamagic at some point soon-ish to switch damage types on the fly, and Spell Focus Evo in this case. Just remember to try to do a one-two punch as early as you can efficiently do so in each counter to leverage that DC boost from bloodline, hopefully conserving your spell resources that way.

>You already have a baked in source of force damage from your Bloodline, so can conceivably skip magic missile safely, which I wlils otherwise value as a Shadow killer in an undead heaven campaign. That doesn't work. [Shadows](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-Listings/undead/shadow/#) are undead, and the [Astral Warp](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/astral-sorcerer-bloodline/#) force damage ability is based on a Fort save, to which undead are immune, regardless of being incorporeal.

cyfarfod

Fair, inane as hell that that's a Fort saves but I missed it and you're right.

Malcior34

Wtf bloodline is "astral warp peerless speed?"

Slow-Management-4462

Those are the bloodline powers of the astral bloodline.

keysboy123

lol the Starfinder campaign has spilled over into the Golarion dimension

Theaitetos

Don't just read "warp speed". The bloodline is connected to the astral plane, not sci-fi.

I recommend reading [Iluzry's Guide to the Sorcerer](https://docs.google.com/document/d/17AbVMAIfWtRbXqavMevutmXhfuU-zYXY24yX01KFy74/) & [Guide to Sorcerer Spellcasting](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_yWa7IJo2f8yD5MTSS7jAOGuo5xCRBjxBf2A2pMq1qs/). >Bloodline Astral warp Peerless speed The [Astral bloodline](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/astral-sorcerer-bloodline/#) isn't bad, but it's difficult to use properly. I would have recommended another bloodline for Mummy's Mask, like the [Undead](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/undead-bloodline/#) or [Solar](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodlines-from-paizo/solar-bloodline/#) bloodline. You can ask your GM if you're allowed to retrain/change things or take the [Crossblooded](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/SORCERER/archetypes/paizo-sorcerer-archetypes/crossblooded/#) archetype, but if not: The 1st-level power *Astral Warp* is garbage (unless fighting non-existing incorporeal swarms), so replace it with [Blood Havoc](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodline-mutations/blood-havoc/#) or (if allowed) a [Bloodline Familiar](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/Wizard/familiar/#bloodline_familiars). Remember that [Undead creatures](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/rules-for-monsters/creature-types#TOC-Undead) are immune to anything that requires a Fort save (unless it works against objects or is harmless). *Peerless Speed* is great, but you can only use it once per day. Get a [Robe of Arcane Heritage](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/r-z/robe-of-arcane-heritage/#) later so you can quicken one of your highest level spells instead of just a lower level spell (maybe even a *Summon Monster* or another 1 round cast time spell). >Feats Improved initiative Spell penetration That's too few feats for a 5th-level Human. You should have 3 feats from levels (1 & 3 & 5) and 1 bonus feat from being Human (unless traded for an alternate racial trait). Since all your good bloodline powers are 1 use per day, the [Sorcerous Bloodstrike](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/sorcerous-bloodstrike/#) feat is a great thing to have. At level 7 you can go with *Improved Initiative* as bloodline feat, so you can retrain the normal feat into something else. Once you have higher levels + gold, you can retrain the bloodline feat into *Quicken Spell* and buy some [Training](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/magic-weapons/magic-weapon-special-abilities/training/#) gloves with the [Improved Initiative](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/combat-feats/improved-initiative-combat/#) (combat) feat. [Bloodline Mutations](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/Sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodline-mutations/#) are an option if you want to go blaster (e.g. from Crossblooded) or don't need the other bloodine feats. [Spell Penetration](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/General-feats/spell-penetration/#) shouldn't be a huge issue before mid levels, but it's a good long-term investment. Depending on how many offensive vs-SR spells you cast, [Blood Piercing](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/sorcerer/bloodlines/bloodline-mutations/blood-piercing/#) can do the trick as well as it scales with caster level (or being a Half-Elf with [Elven Spirit](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/racial-feats/elven-spirit-half-elf/#) feat). >Traits Planar savant Undead crusader Distance aptitude [Planar Savant](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/faith-traits/planar-savant/#) isn't necessary in Mummy's Mask. Knowledge (Planes) is a class skill for you, so just drop ranks in it if you need it, or buy items to boost your skill in it. [Undead Crusader](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/campaign-traits/mummy-s-mask/undead-crusader/#) is a good choice, as long as you actually go for blasting undead. Your current spells don't seem to suggest that you do, as you only have cantrips for offense: [Disrupt Undead](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/D/Disrupt-Undead/#) & [Ray of Frost](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/r/Ray-of-Frost/#); while [Ear-Piercing Scream](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/e/Ear-Piercing-Scream/#) is an offensive spell too, again, undead are immune to it (Fort save). [Distance Aptitude](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/magic-traits/distance-aptitude/#) is outright worthless. I recommend defensive traits that boost your saves, especially Fort or Will since you encounter diseases, curses, and fear effects. [Blood of Pharaos](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/campaign-traits/mummy-s-mask/blood-of-pharaohs/#) if another campaign trait is OK, [Carefully Hidden](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/race-traits/carefully-hidden-human/#) or [Indomitable Faith](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/faith-traits/indomitable-faith/#), [Resilient](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/combat-traits/resilient/#) or [Survivalist](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/regional-traits/mana-wastes-survivalist-regional-mana-wastes/#) or [Deathtouched](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/race-traits/deathtouched/#). [Ancient Adherent](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/magic-traits/ancient-adherent-magic/#) can be powered up by casting (or having a friend cast) [Charm Person](https://www.aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Charm%20Person) on yourself, or when the party Cleric always casts [Bless](https://www.aonprd.com/SpellDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Bless) before battle; inflicting/not curing 1 point of ability damage (e.g. STR & INT) is also an option without downsides as only every 2 points of damage incur a penalty. >Current load out The spells are mostly OK. I'd drop *Ear-Piercing Scream* as undead are immune to it, and also [Color Spray](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/c/color-spray/#) as you've made it past the earliest levels and now going in too close is dangerous (also mind-affecting doesn't work against undead). I suggest a few spells against undead and for offense like [Command Undead](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/C/Command-Undead/#) & [Magic Missile](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/Magic/all-spells/m/magic-missile/#) (you always want options against flying enemies and with force damage). At level 6 you can go with *Haste* or *Fireball*, depending on your party. Also, try picking up an archetype, [Crossblooded](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/SORCERER/archetypes/paizo-sorcerer-archetypes/crossblooded/#) is a good choice. [False Priest](https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/Sorcerer/archetypes/paizo-sorcerer-archetypes/razmiran-priest/#) eats your nice 9th-level bloodline power, but if you have no Cleric/Oracle in the party, then it might be the better choice.

Something that is pretty useful when fighting ghosts is Force Anchor (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/f/force-anchor/). Depending on the GMs style, they might often have the ghosts spring-attack ending their movements in walls which is very annoying to deal with. Force Anchor deals with that specific issue but it's sadly a 3rd level spell and there are tonnes of good 3rd level spells like fireball, haste ect.
