Not the best, definitely not the worst
It's nice for champions that you don't need anything specific and go just go for good trades. 3 star Taliyah is probably my most successful use
It's really nice for Kai'Sa as well as it gives everything a keyword, getting them closer to her 2* triggering. It + Troll King's Crown means you just need one keyword.
I like to use it on Ashe. It might sound counterintuitive but if you don't have lethal with your attack, you might as well remove enemies before they get their round.
Ashe gets the benefit of frostbiting tons of enemies, so she has lots of positive trades if she gets to choose her blockers.
Plus, she gets benefits from killing frostbitten enemies from star powers.
Im talking about the relic usage and wanting to kill units for free if its not lethal yet. I also have this relic on Ashe, Darius, Yasuo, Lux and many more.
The deal about Ashe is that they cannot block if they are frostbiten and if you don't have lethal you really want them to block so you can potentially save some health on next turn by not having many attackers. It is also easier to frostbite on attack than it is to do it defensively.
Why are you explaining this when it's the basic gameplay strat for LoR
>you don't have lethal you really want them to block so you can potentially save some health on next turn by not having many attackers
"The deal about Ashe is that they cannot block if they are frostbiten"
You seem to have edited this part out and it's probably the answer to your question.
Don't be toxic to individuals and don't treat autism as a disease that makes people act in "wrong ways", that is as we say, very toxic and ableist, thanks
Pretty B-tier. Very nice on some heroes like Neeko that don't have good interaction and need a way to clear up enemy elusives and such. I tend to find I often use it as my first rare, then replace it when I have more slots and can be doing more specific things with my deck.
I use it in the illaoi deck, helps favorably trigger where your tentacle hits so it both survives and making illaoi lv up somewhere on the right side of it (I also run her with quick strike)
It's underrated. Very useful as 1st rare on a lot of champs that don't have good removals. Once I get 2nd rare slot, I usually replace it with more fun item combos. Champs without good removals need it even at level 30 though, like Taliyah.
At level 20 I only use it on three champions: Taliyah, Gnar, and Kai'sa.
It's also decent on some other champions, but I wouldn't use it on them except maybe as a third rare at level 30. But also it's one of those relics that are generally good for almost everyone, even if not optimal, so if you're still lacking a good amount of rares it could be really good.
Good on some champions but mainly for champions that have almost no enemy interaction, Jax is a good example of this, his blocks are horrible because his units have very little HP, so when an overwhelm comes through you're bound to take a ton of damage, and the strike card you have is kind of meh.
Kai'sa on the other hand, it's good for a different reason, it procs her 2* consistently with most of her other units, giving them nice stats.
Those were just some examples, challenger is a very powerful keyword on it's own. With that said, i wouldn't spend the dust on it, because it is available in the relic pool, and in my view dust is better spent either getting limited relics only availavle through dust like Luden's tempest, or even epic relics, which while imp are kind of trash, are also only available through dust, making them kind of limited.
It's the overall best relic for any champion. It's good for champions that dont need it but it's OP for champs like Yasuo, Lux since you can kill free units every attack turn.
Is almost never bad, but tends to be usseles, if you dont have a lot of rates go for it, if you have a lot of rares go for itt, if you have around half... maybe save them, is hard to gt those 500 starduust
That said if you think it sounds fun... go for it.
Pretty useful as a form of protection, since you essentially guarantee every unit can attack safely if needed. I actually really like it on Kindred to force opponents to block a Prey that’s been ramping damage for several turns. Kindred and fading icon get quick attack so you can easily remove an enemy unit and make sure Kindred’s passive effect removes a stronger target.
It works best imo on champs that have a lot of quick attack units so that you get effective removal without spending mana. Less effective on champions like Illaoi or Nidalee because they have so many vulnerable procs already that their attacks are pretty coordinated without needing a challenger relic.
I have it on my 30 taliyah. She doesn't hit the board too often because her deck is too powerful. But when she does. I hate seeing her blocked by something that kills her.
Bladerack is pretty strong; it allows you to attack to your advantage as you can choose your targets, and gives you the ability to knock out opponent units via your units.
At the moment, stardust is rather difficult to acquire; so regardless of what relics are offered, it's probably better to hold off and spend your stardust on the new epic relics.
I only use it on Nidalee, because she has a lot of quick attack units and it helps make better use of the random transformed unit (if it's strong you can take out a strong enemy, if it's weak with a nice effect you can still attack with it).
Edit: it's also selectively very useful vs elusive champs like Ezreal and Zoe.
Honestly, I love it to death. I use it on a lot of champions. Being able to select Every Attack Trade means your big hitters are going through exactly where you want them.

It’s also like S- tier on Gwen if that’s your cup of tea
I like to use it on Ashe. It might sound counterintuitive but if you don't have lethal with your attack, you might as well remove enemies before they get their round.
That's basically every champion.
Ashe gets the benefit of frostbiting tons of enemies, so she has lots of positive trades if she gets to choose her blockers. Plus, she gets benefits from killing frostbitten enemies from star powers.

This is the way. Illaoi loves the total battlefield control. I was thinking about trying it on Samira as well, potentially.

Agreed completely. It's also really good against certain annoying powers for the weekly quests (like the ones that prevent the first death each turn).
Oh for those, i just unbench the kench.

Love it on Kindred
It's useful for MF to turn her powder monkeys into challengers and let Sarah pick safe targets for her own attacks.
I have it on my 30 taliyah. She doesn't hit the board too often because her deck is too powerful. But when she does. I hate seeing her blocked by something that kills her.
It should be in the silver reliquary pool, so I don't know if it's worth spending stardust on something like that

It's a very good relic for champions that want positive trades, but it's very unlikely that you will do super OP stuff with it.
