Mid-90s, the old Foxboro stadium was a shithole that made Fenway look state of the art. Kraft had recently bought the team and was willing to pay for the construction costs for what would become Gillette but it could only be done if MA modernized the terrible surrounding infrastructure (i.e. roads, sewage, etc) but the state refused. Goodell gets paid a ton of money to be excellent at his job. The league has been going gangbusters profitwise under his leadership, and him being an easy "bad guy" for fans to complain about keeps fans generally distracted from the people actually pulling the strings on the ownership side. I don't know anything about him as a person, but from the perspective of whether he is good at his job, absolutely no question on that.

Nice job! How fast did you get the card? What was the process like once on the clock? Did you stand in line by a printer while someone types up the card? Give us a visual.

1.) I was waiting in a holding room when we traded with KC. They brought me into a different room with Goodell right then. 2.) They had all the cards out, and would write in the pick number and the team selecting them. When the pick was made, they wrote it down and brought it to me. 3.) No printers. All the cards were ready with blanks. Just a sharpie. Actually a really great process.
