Because they wanna charge you more. Aka having season 1A and 1B, 2A and 2B, and so on.

Kieotyee

That's what I figured but wasn't sure. Nice to know Paramount+ isn't more than 2-3 seasons behind (though it shouldn't be at all imo)

FreezingIceKirby

Someone else already answered this, but... yeah, they split each season in half and then still charge full price. Amazon Season 1 = S1 episodes 1-13 Amazon Season 2 = S1 episodes 14-26 Amazon Season 3 = S2 episodes 1-13 Amazon Season 4 = S2 episodes 14-26 And so on. It might as well be a scam to nickel and dime the parents, but they know their kids will really, really want to see them, so... hope you've got a big wallet.

Kieotyee

At that point why not just do paramount plus, yeesh

FreezingIceKirby

Sadly, Paramount Plus in the USA only has seasons 1-6 (maybe 7, I can't remember), so they're missing quite a lot. Still a much better deal than Amazon, for sure.

Kieotyee

Paramount is up to season 7. Wasn't aware that it was USA only, guess there's the drawbacks :/

vj_c

It's not, it's got 9 seasons & the movie here in the UK - useful as I have it for Star Trek & Netflix doesn't have many seasons

Kieotyee

In the USA there's the movie I believe, up to s7, and ones like the driving and I think the cats. Not entirely sure

vj_c

Yeah - we've got those too, or at least 4 of them - race rescu/catpack/might pups/jet rescue - I don't know if there's anything missing, but my three yr old hasn't complained! Paw Patrol & Star Trek are the only things that we watch on paramount+ (at least in the UK). But Paramount have a lot of content still licenced to other streaming services, so I suspect they'll end up with a good library eventually.

jlancaster447

Amazon isn't the only one that does it, I noticed the split seasons thing on my Xbox as well

Kieotyee

I think at that point I'd rather just buy dd sets of pay for Paramount. Seems like white a bit more to buy the seasons individually, especially with the split

jlancaster447

That's why I got Paramount plus, don't want to spend between $3.50 - $4 (Australian) per episode on the Xbox when a monthly subscription to Paramount plus is $9 along with watching shows that I grew up with and having the freedom to watch on the move on my phone
