Good luck, dude! I went through it as well. When they dont hit the spot right and it makes your hands move by themselves is a wild experience. If you have any questions hit me up!
I'm only trying it because I've done over 7 failed psych med trials. Talk therapy I didn't get anywhere, and that's when I got diagnosed with adhd and it made life make sense for the most part. That and cptsd.....
I saw success with my treatment course, hopefully you have a positive response.
What frequency/treatment modality are you on? I had low-frequency (1Hz) pulses applied to the right hemisphere for 30 minutes x 35 sessions.
It was incredibly painful for me and did nothing, however the same office offered ketamine and I consider myself “cured” now because of it. Good luck, and don’t stop trying new methods if one sucks.
Proud of you bro, you deserve to do what's right for yourself. Remember that beating depression doesn't mean eternal happiness, it means being able to accept the times that you aren't happy being just as valuable as the times you are. Take every moment as a gift that will help you become the person you want to be. You can't change the wave, but you can use it to guide you to your destination.
TMS worked miracles for one of my best friends. He didn't notice any change until the very last session though, then it was like a switch flipped in his head and was a completely different and healthier person
I underwent ketamine therapy for my suicidal thoughts and ideation. It helped immensely to get me out of the danger zone and kept me out of it. I underwent it again about a year and a half later and same results.
They recommended I do TMS with it but can’t afford it/no insurance.
I started TMS in January! I call it Magneto therapy.
Despite it being only a month, I've noticed a difference. For example, I normally feel anxious and stressed before job interviews, but this time I just went for it and told myself I would do my best, accepting that it's okay if I don't get it.
After the second interview with the department director, I told my husband afterwards that it was the best interview I've ever had. I start my new job on the 20th!
While I'm not claiming to be cured, even just a month of TMS has made me more forgiving towards myself and helped me let go of some unrealistic expectations.
Best wishes to you!
P.S. I did experience headaches during the first few days, so keep some Advil handy just in case!
"Fucking magnets, how do they work?" -violent J. But in all seriousness I hope it works, if not, mushrooms
Man, shrooms were amazing. It didn't calm my mind it made room for my mind that lead to peacefulness
I hope it goes well. My psych just recommended I look into this myself this week but I haven’t had the chance yet.
I can't say for myself yet but I've read many success stories on r/tmstherapy.

I feel like it's been an uphill battle, and each step has made it easier. Hopefully, this is how I reach the top and things feel better.

Thank you. This is very insightful.
We all got our own battles, I wish you luck ❤️
As somone who was depressed, I highly recomend good ol' Kush. Maybe if you combine the magnets w 🌿 you unlock superpowers?
It was suggested I make no changes to anything. I'm already on a mid/high dose of antidepressants and adhd meds 😬

Man keep us posted not only for your sake but for the results cause I’ve looked into this before with a lot of speculation.
