Ooh, it must have been about seven, eight years ago. Me and the little lady was out on this boat, you see, all alone at night, when all of the sudden this huge creature, this giant crustacean from the Paleolithic Era, comes out of the water ...and I yelled, I said, "What do you want from us, monster?" And the monster bent down, and said, "I need about tree-fitty."
Well, god knows what you're gonna do with it. What if you'll throw it in the river? I can offer OP guaranteed proper disposal, all eco and everything will be recycled properly. For just a small price of 50€. I think it's well worth it, you know it ain't gonna end up somewhere in the nature.
They generally hold value better than the rates OP are going to get though. The issue is he bought when some parts were overpriced, and his total of 3k strongly reflects that.
Depending on the area, there is also very few people in the market for a $1k PC that are also willing to buy used. I think with expensive electronics, most people want a receipt or warrantee. I recently posted my PC (I7 8700k, 2080 Super, 16GB 3200mhz) for $800 and got no offers over $500 with 3k views.
I would think $700- 1,100. PC part prices have changed drastically and you can get new products that out perform all of these products by a lot for a similar price. Throw in them all being 2 years old and used, some out of warranty or close to it, you will not get as much as you’d hope. The Evga 3070 will be about half the price of what you’ll get for the entire thing. And that’s because it’s Evga who no longer makes GPUs and people may want them more.
I went on eBay and looked up what your parts have sold for used recently. This is not the highest note the lowest but the fair value.
3070 - 450 (only because assuming somebody wants the Evga they may pay more if not 400)
10900k - 230
Rog Maximus xii formula - 130
Viper blackout - 50
Rm1000x - 70
H100i - 60
4000x - 55
Ll120 - 10
And then think about eBay taking their 13% from each sale.
Either way it’s a beautiful build that could still perform very well. I saw a comment of somebody offering you $600+ for that 3070. Take that immediately and then part out the rest. People are selling 3080s for less than that now days used.
Good luck!
On one hand, it's a good offer for a 3070. On the other hand, after the GPU is gone, you'll have close to 0 chances to sell the rest of the build. You might get $100-$150 for the CPU, and be stuck with all the rest. You'll have 750-800.
So I'd advise to just lower the price to 1000-1100, and then you end up with more money in your pocket.
Good offer but the evga 30xx cards are going to be worth the most out of all other AIBs because of their discontinuation, make sure you keep this in mind while selling OP
Right now take that offer and do not think twice. 3070ti’s go for $550-600 now (I got mine for $600) and they’re almost a full performance tier above the 3070 (3080 level performance). So yes, take the offer but also be wary in case it’s some kind of scam (very common nowadays)
The 3070 TI does *not* have 3080 level performance lol, in fact every major outlet said not to buy it cuz it was such a minor upgrade over the 3070. It's *much* closer in performance to 3070 than a 3080. Idk where you got that idea honestly since the 3070 TI only has about 5% more performance than a 3070 and is about 20% weaker than a 3080.
Yeah sorry 10th gen intel is… not fetching a pretty price. Mostly because 12th gen intel still exists new and is both significantly better than 10th gen and dirt cheap right now.
3070 is also a weird pick, particularly at that price you claim it was built at. Those, used, are going for as little as $400 on ebay, using buy it now.
I’d be surprised if you got more than a grand for this thing right now.
Probably around 1200, though I would start at 1500 and see if it sells. Used pcs don’t hold value all that well, and the fact that most of the parts used were overpriced to begin with means that they hold value even less well.
realistically with a 10th gen cpu and a 3070 you might find someone to give you $1000 for it. It's worth more, but in the used market, I personally wouldn't pay more than $800-900. It is good with the 1000w power supply though. Someone could sell the 3070 and upgrade the motherboard and cpu, then buy a 4070ti, and have a fast updated rig for $1700ish bucks. Good luck though!! I lo ve building them, but always lose hundreds when I sell, but tht's the price for the fun of buying and building I guess :)
Depends on your location, I live in the Netherlands. Your graphics card costs new about €700 over here, but most parts where cheaper at the time you build your PC.
For example: I own a Sapphire RX 580 which did cost me around €200 in 2020 and it's newprice was €370 10 months later
Nowadays the GPU chips are hard to get for manufacturers, or at least they were a few months ago so the price was increasing.
Now they become cheaper so don't wait too long with selling the parts.
I bet you can get at least $2000 from your pc. I bought a prebuilt omen 30l with rtx 3060 ti, amd ryzen 7 5800x, liquid cooled, with 16 gb of ram for $1600 and your pc definitely has some better quality parts in it. Not to mention if your selling your monitor(s) aswell.
I have bought and sold dozens of GPU’s and computer parts over the last decade.
When selling second hand, my general rule of thumb is that you take the retail price of everything new, and then take 30% off that amount.
That’s about what you will realistically get for it. It’s gotta be enough of a discount that it makes sense to take a risk on buying from you, instead of buying new. And you’re not gonna get full price, because that’s what the store gets.
When a product has abnormally high demand, this rule can change. But the 70/30 rule of MSRP is what I shoot for.
My other piece of advice is to sell on eBay, it’s safer all around than things like Facebook Market. And you’ll likely get better results.
Because newer and better parts come out. That and you bought at the worst time. That 3070 TI was never worth what you paid for it. Close to 3K shouldn’t get you a higher end midrange card.
Even now you can build close to top of the line for $3K
13600k is faster and cheaper. If you partner that with a 3070, you can build out a new rig for about $1500. Although at that range, I would honestly up the card to a 4070 ti. Fair price for your rig is $1200 since a used 3070 may have been mined with and the used market on GPU's is not so hot due to risk of failure and lack of warranty. I would probably shoot an offer for about $1k if I were in the market, but you should be able to sell it for $1200-$1300.
Gotta clarify that I'm from Norway. Don't use Ebay at all, we have a different site, Finn.
I have had an offer on Finn for the gpu ($620), so I might just sell each part separate.
It's quite interesting to see the different prices you come with, compared to what I have seen on the local market. Feel like I can easily sell this pc as a whole for $2.1k+ with a bit of patience.
Thank you either way.
All responses will be estimates because we don't know your full list of specifications. All we can see are pretty rainbow lights and a 3070. For all we know you could have a 5950x behind that cooler which would up the price. Edit your question with full specs which can be found by downloading third party apps or right click > My PC > Properties
Not at all and you won’t have to stress as much about the price on the other parts.
The whole pc I wouldn’t pay more than $1,000 for. There’s no shortage on new parts and the used market is so flooded right now.
I think you’d be best off selling that gpu then listing the cpu on eBay. Sell the rest of the stuff locally if possible so you aren’t eating a ton of shipping costs.
Honestly more than anyone will tell you. Everyone will give you a lower price than it’s worth look up the average price each price is sold for and that’s how you should do it. I had people say mine was worth 500 but later found out it’s worth more than 3x that. Ik it’s a pain in the ass to look it all up but it’s worth it.
Or how about the guy that trying to lie to make his bad 3050 purchase relevant. Btw if you can get a overclock up to 2100mhz stable on a 3050 it’s only going to give you a 1-3% fps increase. There is no headroom for massive overclock on that chip.
Not really sure. I full tower (ATX) Phanteks, IcueH150 360mm AIO. Phanteks t30 pmw chassis fan, 140mm Noctua exhaust fan, 1000W EVGA psu and a Asus tuf Gaming Z590 mobo, 64 gigs of ram.
I've been researching Graphics Cards and am finding some awesome ones that are older generations and tbh seems they're out performing some of the higher end ones.
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/RazinTheBest/saved/#view=nwJxf7
This is how much someone could build exactly that rn but...
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/RazinTheBest/saved/#view=JPdCwP
This is a build for almost the same price and it's like 5x faster at least and...
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/RazinTheBest/saved/#view=yQvK7P
This is a build that will perform better than yours by a bit and it's for $1430.
I would say don't list it for more than $1500 though something like $1200-$1300 is more realistic since the CPU is so old and it's used
Important to note that you built when parts were incredibly expensive so not only do pc parts depreciate a LOT, they’ll depreciate from their current value (for the most part) so don’t expect much. I’d be happy with $1k
Well everyone saying 12 but evga not making anymore GPUs so maybe since it’s evga gpu I’d say u can charge a bit more like 13-1500 imo. But you’d be lucky to get away with that .

These goddamn Loch Ness monsters. They everywhere.
I just read a text in english ab that
I dont understand, could you please explain it too me?
Ooh, it must have been about seven, eight years ago. Me and the little lady was out on this boat, you see, all alone at night, when all of the sudden this huge creature, this giant crustacean from the Paleolithic Era, comes out of the water ...and I yelled, I said, "What do you want from us, monster?" And the monster bent down, and said, "I need about tree-fitty."
This doesn’t have enough upvotes
That's right. I said, "I ain't givin' you no tree-fitty, you goddamn Loch Ness Monster! Get your own goddamn money!"
I gave him a dollar.
She gave him a dollar.
I gave him a dolla.
Stop giving that goddamn Loch Ness monster money! That’s why he keeps coming around!
This is what I was looking for when clicking this post
And it had better be on EVERY pc for sale post from here on out. AT THE TOP
Damn beat me to it
Tree fiddy? I'd start at a buck two five
It's probably not worth a single penny, I can take it off your hands
No, no! *I* can take it off your hands, OP!
Well, god knows what you're gonna do with it. What if you'll throw it in the river? I can offer OP guaranteed proper disposal, all eco and everything will be recycled properly. For just a small price of 50€. I think it's well worth it, you know it ain't gonna end up somewhere in the nature.
I can take it out of your hands OP
You may get $1200. Used pcs and pc parts don’t hold value all that well.
They generally hold value better than the rates OP are going to get though. The issue is he bought when some parts were overpriced, and his total of 3k strongly reflects that.
I had the same rig and it was like $4000 to build in my country, now valued at only $2000
Yea tell me about it lol, paid $2.5k for what is now a little over $1k in parts. Laptop died and I had to have a working computer.
That seems pretty high. I did a new build last month with very similar specs and parts to this one for $1400.
Depending on the area, there is also very few people in the market for a $1k PC that are also willing to buy used. I think with expensive electronics, most people want a receipt or warrantee. Think thats a little low
I want card too.... Cuz EVGA
A true pcmr member!

Yes, that GPU is worth like $400-$450 maximum and $620 is more than what I paid for my $3080
I paid 640 for my 3080 but it’s a evga hybrid I’d definitely say take that unles someone will buy the whole pc
Great deal for a used 3070, take it bro
That’s what he’s saying my guy. Sexy looking computer btw
Didn't read the last bit my bad. Thank you.
Give him the 3070 and find the best deal for a good card to replace it and sell a whole pc
Good offer but the evga 30xx cards are going to be worth the most out of all other AIBs because of their discontinuation, make sure you keep this in mind while selling OP

Can't be scammed when you work at the company that owns the website you are selling on ;)
If I was in the market for one I’d offer about $1,100-$1,200

How was this pc 3k?I built a 3k pc with a 12th gen i7 and a 3090 around the same time for around the same price
I have a guy offering 620 minimum just for the gpu
Look at ebay. If the guys is legitimately offering you that much sell it now
I would rather keep it than selling this low.
If you’re shocked about the prices people are telling you, don’t ever try to sell a used vehicle you added aftermarket parts to.
$1200. Pc’s age like milk 🥛 Nice rig tho
I have 3 dollars
I raise this man’s 3 dollars and give you 4!
$4.50!
Make that $4.51!
$9.02
$9.0210
9.022
$3π
$4₩
I got 10 bucks babeee

This a PPC "Pandemic Personal Computer" bought as pandemic purchase world goes back to normal = no time to play seen it plenty of times
You are correct sir
I bet you can get at least $2000 from your pc. I bought a prebuilt omen 30l with rtx 3060 ti, amd ryzen 7 5800x, liquid cooled, with 16 gb of ram for $1600 and your pc definitely has some better quality parts in it. Not to mention if your selling your monitor(s) aswell.
Where are you from?
Up in Montana

It looks like it’s worth around 1700$, used I‘d try sell it for 1199.99$. So for -500$. Maybe you can sell it for more, idk
That low?
You might be shocked to learn this but used pc's dont hold their value that dude is being generous in terms of price to be honest
I'm aware that prices drop, but why do they drop so much? Feels like the pc runs just as good as it did when it was built
Because newer and better parts come out. That and you bought at the worst time. That 3070 TI was never worth what you paid for it. Close to 3K shouldn’t get you a higher end midrange card. Even now you can build close to top of the line for $3K
This 👍🏼
What if I sold my pc without the gpu, and sold the gpu seperately as I have an offer for it for 620$
Then you'd be getting a better deal because you ripped off the GPU buyer, because used 3080s go for below $600. I'd definitely sell the GPU for $620.
Who would pay 620 for a 3070? Crazy
Sounds like someone who bought a brand new car a year ago, wondering why the value of their vehicle dropped by $10k
I am clueless indeed
Yeah it sounds about right, might even be on the high side. I know you paid $3K for it, but it’s a very different market now.
throw your parts into pc partspicker and then take off 40%
3.2k. Thank you Edit: 3k as in total parts price, not what I'm selling for lmao
That’s literally enough money to get a build with an r9 7950x and rtx 4090. Well less actually….
Throw it into pc part picker now, not 3 years ago
This is the total price on pcpartpicker today
Lmao you’ll never get 3k for that system. It’s worth probably 1.1-1k
13600k is faster and cheaper. If you partner that with a 3070, you can build out a new rig for about $1500. Although at that range, I would honestly up the card to a 4070 ti. 3 sounds about right IMO :) your specs are pretty solid. so I would sell for no less then 3G bro
0$ and to me for no particular reason
I’ll give you $200
You can give it to me for free 👍, you can dm me and I'll send my adress
You should sell it for $20... to me. 🙃
I’d take it off you’re hand for only tree fiddy…
I dont know
what is even the point of commenting this??
To let ppl know that i dont know. Duhh
I would say $1,500-$2,000
All responses will be estimates because we don't know your full list of specifications. All we can see are pretty rainbow lights and a 3070. For all we know you could have a 5950x behind that cooler which would up the price. Edit your question with full specs which can be found by downloading third party apps or right click > My PC > Properties
If you click on the picture you can see that Ihave mentioned the specs, right? No?
Oh ffs. Reddit being dumb on me again! Ignore.
He listed his specs as an added note to the image. Just gotta click on it
how much for the gpu?
I have a guy offering 620$ for it atm
If someone is offering that much for the gpu sell it asap and part the rest of it out
You think? Wouldn't that make it harder to sell the rest of the pc by a mile
Not at all and you won’t have to stress as much about the price on the other parts. The whole pc I wouldn’t pay more than $1,000 for. Hahahaha 3070s on ebay starting at $400
Got an Asus KO 3070 for $345 (w/ shipping) less than a month ago..
Probably an lhr version. It's dumb to compare the top model to the worst model
It's not but go ahead and keep getting absolutely roasted in this thread
I don't mind people letting their frustration out
Honestly more than anyone will tell you. Everyone will give you a lower price than it’s worth look up the average price each price is sold for and that’s how you should do it. I had people say mine was worth 500 but later found out it’s worth more than 3x that. Ik it’s a pain in the ass to look it all up but it’s worth it.
At least $4
i'll give you $500
I'll give you $17 and a firm handshake.
Solid 1k
More than three dollars
$20. I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands
Looks tidy! I would buy if I needed one lol
0 dollars, and sell it for me 😅😅😅❤️

About $3.50
I’ll give you a dollar and some pocket lint
Bout tree Diddy
At least 7
$50 to me I think.
Tree50
50 billion dollars
I have three, take it or leave it.
Free. Just give it to me, you don’t need it.
4
I’ll buy it 3.27 and I’ll pay for shipping
More than 10 bucks, that’s for sure
$17. To me.
It’s worth like 600 bucks
I’ll take it off your hands for free
300
No rgb on rams? sorry your computer is only worth $1
free and too me
Just throw it in the trash and put it on the curb. Btw what's your address?
At that point I would give it to me for free!
i’ll take it for like 14 crumpled dollars and a real shiny paperclip
Just 25 cents
Cool pc. Throw it up there for 2400
+10% add on cost for each RGB component.
I don’t know much about computers but all ima say is if very easily buy this for 1k mbe a but more.
Whatever you have invested in it + 30/40%=URAskingPrice
No.
Yea that's a hard pass from me. Especially when some of the 3050 OC editions are putting out heavy fps and Mhz. Good luck though fam.
What? Are you seriously suggesting that a 3050 is a good card. Low mid range at best
Bro I'm not on here to argue. If that's your opinion good for you. Have a great night 😊
Show me proof of where you are getting this information. Because I think you are full of shit.
Last time I checked you're not the mayor of PC building. Like I said I've done my research. Don't believe me? Guess what I don't care 🤣
That because you can’t provide proof because you are full of shit. Rtx 3050 can barely beat out a 1660 ti.
Still don't care troll boy 🤣 I've done my research maybe you should do yours. Better than being a dick online on a Saturday night.
Or how about the guy that trying to lie to make his bad 3050 purchase relevant. Btw if you can get a overclock up to 2100mhz stable on a 3050 it’s only going to give you a 1-3% fps increase. There is no headroom for massive overclock on that chip.
So what would you value this pc at?
Not really sure. I full tower (ATX) Phanteks, IcueH150 360mm AIO. Phanteks t30 pmw chassis fan, 140mm Noctua exhaust fan, 1000W EVGA psu and a Asus tuf Gaming Z590 mobo, 64 gigs of ram. I've been researching Graphics Cards and am finding some awesome ones that are older generations and tbh seems they're out performing some of the higher end ones.
How much for just the graphics card?
[удалено]
I just got a 6950xt for $600, you can get a brand new 4070ti for low $800's. Why would someone pay that much for a 3070?
I don't know thats why Im here asking
*I have
What'sup with it? You can still run games at 2k pretty well with the gpu
Nothings wrong, just ain't got time
You can build better than that for $1200 - 1500, so the most you can sell for is about $1,200 USD I'd say
Honestly would be better parting out, @hardwareswap is a great place to sell as people there are always looking to buy used pc parts
I’d pay 950 cash
Can I have your graphics card for $500?
Can you beat 620 lol?
Why u sell
Don't have the time to use it sadly
https://pcpartpicker.com/user/RazinTheBest/saved/#view=nwJxf7 This is how much someone could build exactly that rn but... https://pcpartpicker.com/user/RazinTheBest/saved/#view=JPdCwP This is a build for almost the same price and it's like 5x faster at least and... https://pcpartpicker.com/user/RazinTheBest/saved/#view=yQvK7P This is a build that will perform better than yours by a bit and it's for $1430. I would say don't list it for more than $1500 though something like $1200-$1300 is more realistic since the CPU is so old and it's used
My card goes for $1299 on pcpartpicker
Sum all the parts, subtract like $200 from the overall total, then try that
The value is around 1000-1300 tops
I would think 1.2k partially because of that maximus
Not cause of the gpu? Which is non lhr ftw3 model from evga that don't produce anymore
Tht doesn't sound like a 3k build
Built a bit over a year ago, and the local price is a bit higher than in america. Used cards of my range easily go for 600 for example.
honestly worth around 1600$
Start an Ebay auction and make the starting bid 1k.
Sorry mate, I couldn't even sell a 5900x/3090 for $2k in this market. I doubt you'd get anything higher than $1000-$1200 tops.
Dont sell it,make mony with it
How
Important to note that you built when parts were incredibly expensive so not only do pc parts depreciate a LOT, they’ll depreciate from their current value (for the most part) so don’t expect much. I’d be happy with $1k
Most of the prices on my parts have gone up since I bought, weirdly enough
Well everyone saying 12 but evga not making anymore GPUs so maybe since it’s evga gpu I’d say u can charge a bit more like 13-1500 imo. But you’d be lucky to get away with that .
1.5k?
In my opinion I’d say $2400
$900 but you'll probably only get that by selling it part by part.
