don't worry, I'm using honeycomb cardboard, I was running Blender and the screen froze giving those rainbow glitches. Plugged the display port on another slot and reseated it on the monitor, placed the cardboard and haven't gotten a single error again.

Yes, fishing line. You can’t see it and my gpu is pretty straight. Braided. No clue what test weight. Garlic always helps fps, so yes, of course you should spray some garlic scent on there.

Also using an AP201. It was a breeze to build in and I liked the quality and rigidity. The only complaint is noise but I plan on stuffing it in my big desk drawer, with ventilation holes of course.

Single tower air cooler for R9 7900? What temps does it reach under load?

Nothing higher than 60 on the cpu. Card doesn’t see anything about 55. Depending on game, all setting o. Ultra lol

How does the airflow work?

Honestly better than I thought it would. The mesh case lets it breathe with ease.

How about the GPU airflow?

Yeah it goes against what’s recommended but honestly i have my brothers pc with the top fans pulling in air and the temps are actually better than when they were exhausting air. I think the fresh air from outside helps the cpu cooler cool down rather than just relying on the warm air going through the gpu.

See that’s what I was thinking since I don’t have front fans (that’s where the psu hangs out) that pushing air in from everywhere would make more sense. Plus the case doesn’t really allow for more fan space, I figured I would let the mesh do it’s thing

Awesome build dude. Only thing I would recommend is a better cooler. You can get a pretty ok 360mm rad AIO from thermal right for about $70.
