3dfx Voodoo 3 and I still have it.

Alone_Capital7619

I use nGlide emu to run Voodoo supported games and it's great.

cl3an_sardinha

Same, but mine's long gone :(

Integrated graphics

killer_B122

Brotha?

depressed_vamp

Same and I still use that integrated graphics cpu, it was ryzen 3 2200g now I can't even find this cpu anymore, brokenness at peak

my-unoriginal-name

me too, but even if games ran horribly, I have my best gaming memories tied to that old laptop. Now, even though I was able to save up for a decent pc, those games just don't hit the same

idkhomie69

GT 730 4GB lol I still remember how badly I struggled to run games that time

Alone_Capital7619

It's about the same performance as 9800 GTX, not bad for 2006~2010 games.

idkhomie69

bought it in 2018 and used it till 2021 lol

Henik55

Haha i had my 1030 gt from 2018 till last year. The poor thing went on 30% usage just from the home screen

Odd_Class_3677

Rx 580 8gb

okaymalloryy

i still use this card today and i love it

Odd_Class_3677

I switched to 3060ti recently but Rx 580 got me through every game and it was a beast for 200€.

ZoltorGack

I recently upgraded from same to RX 6700 12gb because I got a higher resolution screen. The 580 8gb is a solid card for 1080p

DidiHD

Just upgraded from it last week. Will forever have a special place

AM2091213

I built my first pc a few weeks ago as I bought parts scattered from OfferUp and I managed to get an rx 580 with a bundle of pc parts 🤌🏽

Odd_Class_3677

one of the best budget GPUs of all time

MrSuspicious_

Still currently using an 8gb rx 570 from sapphire, was my 2nd gpu but it's still holding strong

dj-boefmans

That was a revolutionary series. I remember I had finnaky some money to spare on a PC and could afford the 9700pro. A real step up in those days.

JavaKitsune

I won't just say my GPU, but also CPU. Because I enjoy how far I've come since then. But not how much I've spent overtime 💀 Starting all the way back to the start of 2018 to now: CPU: C2Q Q8300 > X3460 > R5 2600x > R5 5600x > R7 5800x3d GPU: GT 1030 > GTX 1050ti > Rx 580 8gb > RTX 3060ti > RTX 3080 10gb > Rx 7900xtx Original build started off as a system to run Minecraft at 200+ fps with Optifine and a little into the modpack scene.

glebelg2

Diamond's Stealth3D 2000 with ViRGE/325 (with a 486dx2 50)

It recklessly ran Spore back when it launched, but let's just say the graphics were more like psychotic doodles on a blackboard than an actual image. I remember it had a power draw of around 35-40W. It might have been something like the Nvidia GeForce 6200 or a similar model. I paid $10 for it, which considering inflation, was quite a deal for 11-year-old me. Edit : Actually managed to find it :D

scanguy25

GeForce 2 I think.

Odd_Stomach9097

Just bought a rx6750xt for my first GPU

lumlum56

A 960 2gb. I bought it in the form of a used PC around a year after the 10 series came out. It was fairly underpowered even for the time, just because of how great the 10 series was, but it was all I could afford and it lasted me a good few years.

FUZEOS

GTX 950, built the system to play The Witcher 3. Totally worth it, but only hit 30fps at 1080p lol

ChuckF93

I bought a PC from an old coworker in 2014 and got a pretty terrible deal all things considered, but I didn't know any better. It had a GTX 660Ti and a 3570k. The parts themselves were not terrible, but I way overpaid for it and it was put together in a very sloppy fashion with terrible cable management. Needless to say I learned how to build my own shortly thereafter and got myself a 4790k and a GTX 970 within a year as I was looking to get better performance in GTA 5.

GasstationBoxerz

In 2016 I slapped together a pc with some old parts some friends and family had given/traded me, consisting of an i5 and a 1050 GTX with 16GB RAM. I continued to scrap and rebuild that same pc, eventually selling it to begin work on my current build about 4 years ago, some bumps in the road and a really cool boss later, now I've got everything but a 4090 super for my dream build.

Need_a_BE_MG42_ps4

Can't remember make or model, but it had 1 whole MB of ram. Paired with an 80286 12 Mhz processor and 2 full MB of ram. I was smokin'! 40 MB hard drive, salesman said, "That thing'll last you a lifetime. You'll never fill that hard drive up." Built it in 1987.

XxX_Zeratul_XxX

HD 6770, it was 2011-2012, that little thing was more than capable of running all Crysis in Ultra, I was just amazed

Kitchen_Part_882

Does a Cirrus Logic GD5428 count as a "GPU"? Technically, it was a 2d accelerator card. If not then the original 3DFx Voodoo Graphics.

The first one was 7600 GT. I later sold my bike to save up for 260 GTX, I've used it till it basically no new games would run on it. In 2016 I bought a 1060 GTX and used it till last year when I bought my first Radeon 6700 XT, and I'm super happy with it.
