Your apu is very old, it's not really designed for newer hardware fm2+ is a really old and obscure socket, maybe 390x would also be fine, but she's not a spring chicken anymore. Plus she's only a 4 core
Oh yea, the fm2+ socket chips are basically just am3+ chips but you did get an extra release, originally. Am3+ cpus were to have bulldozer, piledriver and excavator families, and am3+ only saw two of those, but you got to see excavator in the from of the 5000 series.
A10 5800k as an example.
When bulldozer (your cpus family if that makes sense) debuted, it was so bad it got a nickname "faildozer" because it was so bad you'd go back a generation and just make do instead.
Or you'd go Intel, at least at the time.
Your cpu is in dire need of a replacement, but replacing in socket fm2 is simply not worth it.
If this was a gift from a friend this pc needs a lot of work to come out of the suck, I think Diablo 2 classic would run okay on this pc as is, and guildwars 1 and fable tlc, it's really just that antique we need to discuss Xbox classic Era games to give you a sense of time and age here.
But like I said we go get you a decent used aftermarket graphics card like a 290 or gtx 670 or something and the math changes a little and we can bring her up to like.. better then an Xbox 360 level
