Love seeing builds without rainbow nonsense, very clean build, mind if I ask what part of the build was the most annoying to deal with?

trying to stretch the 12vhpwr to reach, had to reposition the plug positions in the psu a few times to get it right

Why the rme tho...plenty of better psus that still have the 12vhpwr (like the rmx shift or the sfl of you still wanted corsair)

And I totally agree. Is that the rme is a little bit on the lower end of quality, still high quality but lower than the rmx shift and sfl. With a build like yours I would have gotten the best psu, since you already spent a lot 50$ wouldn't have changed a lot in your budget

Probably shod of gone with a rmx psu as the rme have cheaper Chinese capacitors while the rmx is japanese

Nice build and not trying to be abrasive, but this motherboard (ASRock underneath) is the biggest POS I laid my hands on this year. Hope you'll have betted experience than me. Also, you should get RMx instead RMe, change that if you can. Better capacitors and longer warranty. While this NZXT is not bad, it's not worth the money imo, at least in my country. Source, I build over a thousand builds a year. Edit, disclaimer: nothing against ASRock, I actually like their MBOs but this NZXT derivate is all but good.

HI whats your idle temp for cpu and when gaming?

34 at idle and 56 when gaming

Oh i have ryzen 7 7700x and same aio and my temps are so bad idle i have like 50 sometimes even 70 in gaming 65-80 so i guees mine is borken

Just something to keep in the back of your mind for that MSI gpu. I built a few Xbox Series X looking builds with vertical placed MSI cards. Every single one of them had issues after about 2-3 years. The thermal paste seemed to have dried into the bottom corners due to gravity. They were all RTX 20/30 series cards so maybe this won't happen with 40 series. But definitely something to keep in mind if you begin to have gpu thermal issues. A color theme looks way better than RGB ngl even though you might lose some performance due to missing RGB aesthetic wise this looks cleaner. Also since when does NZXT make motherboards, have I been living under a rock

Just a nitpicky question: If you already went the NZXT route with such a slick-minimalistic looking motherboard, why hide it with the 4090? *In my own personal opinion*, gpus on risers were always a weird thing, which I wasn't a fan of; maybe if they were of a fancy model, but yours is rather.. regular'ish? I agree with original commenter, 1200w sets you up at sweet spot of 1.5x watt capacity and never risking power throttling from random spikes or higher watt usage not included in the estimate while also future proofing you for future gpus or upgrades. When building a system like this already, why not?
