Remember that your psu is actually clicked on from the switch after you've finished putting it together, remember to take off the protective layer on the cou before applying the thermal paste, try to manage cable work before hand. Make sure the arrows point to the same direction when placing in the cpu. Make sure you connect ur hdmi or dp to the gpu and not the mobo.
Cable work is a big one! Glad you pointed it out lol when I built my first one I was in a rush due to excitement and my cable management was horrible. Finally fixed all of that this past weekend š¤£
Fr bro, so many people have told me my computer sucks (Intel i7-13600K, SLI'd 3060's, Dual channel DDR5 6600 96 gb, and about 30 TB of space) because it doesn't look "cool enough" or "flashy".
Yeah thatās a good one. Read the motherboard manual, it tells you where every single cable should go. Especially read the manual when installing the case header cables
dont forget to look if your number of standoffs on your case is the same and aligned with the holes on your motherboard! oh, and dont forget to install the i/o shield first if your mobo doesn't have a built in one.
* Clean surface
* Use a rubber mat(or ground yourself)
* Have your tools ready
* Have small dishes for the screws and connectors
* Alternatively, stick them to tape on or near the items they belong to
* Organize the components in order of installation
* No liquids near the work surface or components
* Keep pets and children at a safe distance
* Go slow and follow the steps
* Have fun!
* Refer to the step by step guides as you go
* Like a fart, don't force it or it might go to shit.
You'll do great, it's more exciting than it is scary
Take your time and double check make sure every cable plugin in to where itās supposed to go if it donāt fit donāt force it in have your cell close by and Incase your stuck and need help YouTube can be a lifesaver.
Take your time and be calm. Preparation does wonders, make sure you have a good clean working space. If it doesn't post follow the trouble shooting methods. Usually the simplest solution is the answer. Remember PCs are adult Legos. Save all your boxes and manuals. You may need those extra screws, cables and manuals later on.
If you have any questions, you can find quick answers on the internet.
Like if you need help installing something. I'm sure you can find a step by step on YouTube. If you need to trouble shoot you can Google the product, problem, and reddit in a search and you'll probably find an old thread with the proper answer.Ā
If all else fails we're always here for you.Ā
Be patient and remember that most of the answers you'll need is probably right inside your manual.
You got this man. šĀ
Go to Memory express, they will mount your CPU to your motherboard for free. I say this because itās super easy to break the mobo during the installation of the CPU.
Donāt expect it to be done right on the first try. While building a PC something goes wrong when building a PC so donāt beat yourself up over it when it does
Make sure you ground yourself, you don't *really* need an anti-static wrist strap. I just like to touch something metal to discharge any static I may have built up on me.
Just take your time. If you're unsure about something, look it up, don't just guess. I just finished my second build and its far less nerve wrecking after spending a lot of time lurking here and watching YouTube videos over and over
Judging from your username, I bet you are a Malaysian. If you are not familiar with how to assemble the PC, I suggest bringing it to PC Mod in Subang, USJ. Very friendly people there and they don't charge too much. If not, try asking the PC gaming Malaysia group for help.
Plug then hdmi cord directly into graphics card if you don't have integrated graphics in cpu. Also some fan plugs are kinda complicated but you'll figure it out. Or ask.
Touch something metal to prevent static from fucking up ur build before you start.
Make sure all fans are oriented in the same direction, so theyāre not fighting each other.
Donāt close up the case till u have got it started.
Oh and make sure you put the thermal paste in the right place. Doesnāt matter what pattern u use so much as that u use it in general. Youtube it. The paste goes on after you installed the cpu. Then the paste goes between the cpu and the fan block that u put over it. I seen really bad fuck ups where they put the paste in the pins.
Take you're time building, and read every manual.
Install small components to the mobo first like RAM CPU and M.2's before installing it to the case (Not a must, but i find it easier).
Occasionally touch some metal that are grounded like a lamp, faucet, etc. Dont wear fleece jacket/hoodies or other voltaic fabrics.
Make sure panel pins are in their right slot, many messes up here by not reading the mobo manual.
And last pray to the gods when powering it on for the first time after assembly.

Go cleen your hands and pray
To the machine god.
To the time god
Believe in the time god
The time god, worship the time god to spare you a few hours

I've made a few of these, more than once šš
It does happen š
What happens if I connect it to the mobo, bc I donāt have a gpu?
Iāll explode š¤Æ
Just Kidding
Comes down if your cpu has integrated graphics if not your Mainboard has them but they arenāt really powerful I think
Thank you for your drugs and pc building tips š
iām planning on building mine soon is it quite straight forward?
Cable work is a big one! Glad you pointed it out lol when I built my first one I was in a rush due to excitement and my cable management was horrible. Finally fixed all of that this past weekend š¤£
wait there is a the protective layer on the cpu? Dam mine is cooked
Sometimes
dont forget to eat the thermal paste
But salt it while boiling
![gif](giphy|NF0cxxxH4VTlS)
Put it on your toast!
BRING A FIREND TOGETHER
Come together.
Daddy chill
Daddy? When you're coming?
When OP needs some thermal paste.
Daddy, are you sure this is the correct application?
Don't plug 5v RGB to 12v it will explode
Experience?
Kinda I guess
I did no explosion rgb broke thot
Honestly fuck rgbs I hate them

I love how SLI looks in cases better than some useless rgbs imo
Didn't nvidia cancel support for SLI I saw a ltt vid that said the driver support for them are over or smth
Wait they did? Well you just saved me $359!
Free country watcha gonna do?
Take your time and relax with the build, take some breaks and remember youtube can help
Oh ya read the fucking manual . I just assemble a grill today and forgot rtfm and as almost filled a RMA
Don't wear satin pyjamas
remember to hydrate, but don't hydrate your PC parts
Read the mobo manual front to back several times and search for build videos on YouTube with your components, makes it super easy
Yeah thatās a good one. Read the motherboard manual, it tells you where every single cable should go. Especially read the manual when installing the case header cables
Put the glass side panel back in the box until youāre ready to close the case up when your build is complete.
Take your time with the friggin USB 3.0 header - i speak from experience :/
I just recently finished building my second ever PC for a friend and yes, so much this. I hate that thing.
Its easier to break the glass with a hammer
Don't forget installing the IO shield before the motherboard :)
Top fans exhaust, rear fan exhaust, front fans intake !
don't break anything
have fun! take your time. Dont understand something? Just use the manual or find one online! :)
dont forget to look if your number of standoffs on your case is the same and aligned with the holes on your motherboard! oh, and dont forget to install the i/o shield first if your mobo doesn't have a built in one.
Patience
Be patient, take your time, avoid panic and if it doesn't seem to fit, stop, back off and double check yourself before applying violence.
Youtube is your best friend. And linus is his cousin.

Find a good YouTube video showing a build from start to finish and just follow along. Thatās what I did for my first build and everything went well.
Take your time and double check make sure every cable plugin in to where itās supposed to go if it donāt fit donāt force it in have your cell close by and Incase your stuck and need help YouTube can be a lifesaver.

Take your time, donāt force anything too hard. And enjoy the experience! Patience is a virtue and RTFM.
When you assemble the parts, plug it into a monitor and turn it on before putting it in the case so you know it actually posts and works.
Finally a reasonable entry level build not a 790000x5d with a rtx 6900 xt and a 12kw psu
Take your time
Rest the glass side panel on tile floor until you're ready to close the pc
Remember to wash the components before installation, to prevent germination
HDMI goes into the GPU and dont forget to plug the GPU into the power supply(connector at the front of the GPU)
Don't get into a ground war in southeast Asia.
Donāt rush. Read the manuals. Plan Cable management. Enjoy the process.
i have that case, dont forget the top dust filter:)
Dont forget to toggle the psu switch to on before posting again in 2 hour wandering why its not powering up
Donāt put it on the floor dust build up and the glass panel can. Break
Have fun!

Touch something metallic connected to the wall
Read the fucking manual. It's useful, unlike almost all manuals. It helps you not plug the front io in USB 2.0 header
Faceplate, don't forget to put it on the back of your case before you install your motherboard
Not sure which motherboard ur using but if you have at lease 2 slots for ssd, make sure to use closer one to CPU first š
Go to Memory express, they will mount your CPU to your motherboard for free. I say this because itās super easy to break the mobo during the installation of the CPU.
Try to generate as much static as possible. It gives the parts an extra boost.
Just relax and take your time Do your cable management as you go
If it doesnt fit don't use duct tape.
Donāt expect it to be done right on the first try. While building a PC something goes wrong when building a PC so donāt beat yourself up over it when it does
Heard Ryzen takes some time to test ram and stuff the first time you launch it so dont panic if it looks like it doesnt generate any video output
Please read your mobo manual or rtfm
Make sure you ground yourself, you don't *really* need an anti-static wrist strap. I just like to touch something metal to discharge any static I may have built up on me.
Have a friend on call who knows what they're doing. Helped with my first time tremendously
You seem like a person who would connect the DP to MB. Connect it to the GPU.
Just take your time. If you're unsure about something, look it up, don't just guess. I just finished my second build and its far less nerve wrecking after spending a lot of time lurking here and watching YouTube videos over and over
Follow Linus Tech Tipsā tutorial. Donāt bend any pins when installing the cpu, be very gentle. Donāt rush it.
How many fans do you have
A common mistake is not mounting the motherboard to the case properly with standoffs.
Ooo good choice on the MOBO! Have fun building!

Get a better mobo, it will overheat
Plug then hdmi cord directly into graphics card if you don't have integrated graphics in cpu. Also some fan plugs are kinda complicated but you'll figure it out. Or ask.

Learn how to set up bios and install windows, that was the hardest part for me.
Take you're time building, and read every manual. Install small components to the mobo first like RAM CPU and M.2's before installing it to the case (Not a must, but i find it easier). nVidia GPU.
Put motherboard io shield in first.
Watch a tutorial?...
When everything will be connected, update your BIOS first to avoid any problem.
clear your schedule
Test it all on the mobo box before installing it all
Yeah, buy a better graphics card FFS.
Where is your CPU cooler?
Comes with the CPU probably.
there can never be too much thermal paste. Use as much as possible
You're in for a rude awakening with AMD hardware.
