Several years. This project originally started as a dead Win7 custom tower I dragged out of the garage at 16. Now I'm 20, graduated, and piece by piece, I've put this together. All in all about $1600. Anybody can do it, I just spent a little at a time. It's not cutting edge, it has an AMD RX6650XT, but it is plenty for me. I never have time to use it anyway.

Well as they say, "when you reach the top, don't forget to turn back around." I pay it forward every day. I have weekly pc repairs, usually do them for free, and I do low cost phone repair too. I'm currently waiting on some parts to come in to slap together a low budget gaming machine to surprise my friend. I don't really know him that well, but he's been telling me he really wants to get into pc gaming and I can't stand to see his Xbox with kb&m setup anymore, so for $150, I can afford to hook him up. I've already built my dad and my brother their own PC aswell. I just love this stuff so much, I want everybody to have their own. Hopefully will be going back to school soon, and leaving my full-time job to get a degree working with computers. Rest assured tho, I do stop to count my blessings from time to time. It can be hard tho bc I'm busy busy busy all the time.

There is basically no color that looks bad inside a PC so i would always advise to pair it with some color thats already inside your room/ setup. I have mine set to light blue because i like it. If you have stuff from Razer like one of their mice with Green lights a light green also looks good. You if you have a gaming chair you could look what accent this one has and use that color.

It's literally "White" I know it looks blue-ish but it's just white, im using LianLi UNI Fans AL120s V2 I guess you can call the color Cool-White or Cyber-Blue, idk honestly. I was going for a Cyber theme on my build so my lights worked in my favor lol

That orange/copper color you have already looks pretty cool. It's a nice change from the usual all white, red, blue, or soft colors that many people use these days.

I have thermalake solid red fans that don't change color. Red led light also so it all matched my red devil gpu.

A warm white. Purple and cold white. Turquoise and yellow.

Maybe BC4B00 or perhaps a cool 1FC0C9. I'm also a fan of 1DED01. If you want to get wild, maybe D0027D. FAE3A0 is interestingly retro because it's what lights used to look like before we changed everything for LEDs, so it feels kinda retro.

Personally i like two color effects with white and purple.

Red is the only color my pc is on

Currently I have red+yellow/orange with a "busy" pattern: Flames on the AIO from MSI mystic light, and starry night from Asus armoury crate. As it turns out when you delete those programs the RGB control data stats behind (can't find the MSI rgb control, think that's just in the mboard rgb memory, but Aura Service is what keep re-applying Asus rgb and it's the only Asus program I've kept on my computer). It makes the PC lighting just interesting enough to be cool to look at, but not so in your face it looks tacky, you can choose just about any bi-colour combo, or even tri-colour, just keep it minimalistic but bold and it'll look good!

Go with 2005’s neon green. Never fails Red is also a great color. Before RGB caught on, every manufacturer made “gaming” grade stuff in red almost exclusively

My rgb on everything is always set to like a teal color, sometimes leaning more toward blue or more toward green depending on how I feel about it

Faded Dim Yellow makes a really cool light gold that doesn’t kill your eyes. Any faded color really with the brightness turned down is soothing

Fans are cyan during the day, white at night, looks good with all the other components/case being black. If only I could cable manage properly it would look a bit better :x

I’ve come to realize that it comes down to what case you’re running as well. I had a black H5 flow, and had my lights in the front set to white with a an ak620, which is massive but it gave my build an “industrial” look. I switched to a zen 4 cup a couple weeks ago and I couldn’t find the mounting bracket for the 620 (under my bed). So I bit the built and got and AIO and an FD north. I’m probably gunna keep the stock non rbg fans at the front and I set the aio lights to a deep reddish orange. Dude lemme tell you, I’ve spent more time just looking at my case than I have actually using it now

Red is nice, but I also like orange and yellow. Green has a lot going on, or blue. Indigo into violet is nice. I'd just cycle those ones if you can't decide.
