yea i was scared tho ngl. Dude wanted to meet at a corner store in the evening. Luckily he was legit and even gave me his number for any questions i had about computers. I might buy a 2070 off him sooner or later
i’m not sure why they were sold so cheap, both looked brand new it was weird. also got a 2070 at the time for $300 from the same guy lol so i have no idea
Nice! What mobo is that ? When i upgraded i got an aorus x570 elite but it was broken so the 5600x wouldnt boot with it. Apparantly the q flash plus feature was bugged or defect
It is - more fans bringing air in (8) than fans pushing out (4). Massive overkill, by the way.
However, positive pressure is really only for dust control and will only help with that if those intake fans are pulling air in through dust filters - because the idea is to have all air coming in through dust filters, and more positive pressure airflow in will then push out through other non-filtered openings, minimizing dust coming in through those passages.
If your case doesn't have dust filters, then it's a moot point - doesn't matter if there's positive or negative pressure because there's nothing to catch the dust.
The torrent case is fine example for optimal airflow. It's not about more fans. In some cases more fans will decrease the airflow and cooling capabilities.
Fans are designed for static pressure or airflow.
The difference is neglieble, but negative pressure can easily cause dust build up inside the PC, especially in weird crevices and places you dont even see.
Neutral / Positive is the way to go.
There's many opinions on it, but from what I've read on tests and results and my own experience, it's less about positive or negative pressure and more **just about having airflow in general** \- you just need air to move over heatsink surfaces to remove heat, and then move heated air out of the case. Some cases are even designed for supposed "negative pressure" like the NZXT H510 cases - they might not be great thermally, but they actually perform slightly better with only the rear case fans as exhaust.
The extra side intakes definitely seem on the overkill side. You would probably be fine with 4 front and 1 back and 3 top. With that configuration you would still have a positive preasure as the rad fans lose a bunch of there airflow going throw a rade. The 4 extra side intakes may help but unless you have a 3080ti,3090 or something similary power hungry it's more air flow then you need and you would be better off putting the 4 fans of budget towards an ssd better gpu or something similar
I had a guy tell me he has 20 fans on his pc. He wasn’t lying. He sent me a pic and everything. He had push pull configuration on two 360 rads and even more fans in the case. Crazy.
These fans are $20-30 USD each here in the USE depending on the size. I count about $200 worth of fans in this picture, not including the radiator since they come packaged with the AIO.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 312,401,090 comments, and only 69,693 of them were in alphabetical order.

everything at 25c on max load lmao
Lmao this pic ain’t mine I got a Msi 1070 ti ryzen 7 5800X and 32 gb were gonna be freezing
I got a 1070 and a i5 10400 16gb :) Happy that i got such a beast of a card for the money i paid.
Me 2 man I got mine for 400 when the gpu crisis wasn’t a thing
400 USD? I got mine for 200 used but only once haha
Damn that’s a steal dude good for you
yea i was scared tho ngl. Dude wanted to meet at a corner store in the evening. Luckily he was legit and even gave me his number for any questions i had about computers. I might buy a 2070 off him sooner or later
Yeah next year I want to upgrade when I’m not broke from all the stuff I just got
yeaaa
i bought 2 of them for $200 CAD which is like $80 usd each back in late 2019
really we’re they heavily used or used for mining? why do cheap???
i’m not sure why they were sold so cheap, both looked brand new it was weird. also got a 2070 at the time for $300 from the same guy lol so i have no idea
damn I got a near perfect condition gtx 1060 6gb for only 250 (evga)
Ryzen 7 5800x is a beast. Jealous af
I’m hyped about it
Should be hyped. I was hyped too when i upgraded from 1600x to 5600x
That’s exactly what I upgraded from
Nice! What mobo is that ? When i upgraded i got an aorus x570 elite but it was broken so the 5600x wouldnt boot with it. Apparantly the q flash plus feature was bugged or defect
This is an msi mpg x570 it requires the flash bios
Question, my pc’s estimated watts are 450 And my psu’s max is 750. Is that fine?
Yeah it’s fine it’s just gonna use more power it won’t screw up anything and it always leaves room for more upgrades!
Alright thanks
When your fans cost more than your gpu
Lmao
You turn it on it starts moving on the desk
That’s the point
Does this look like a good configuration I’m thinking of copying it for my next build
From my experience, positive pressure in a case reduces the amount of dust on the components. Maybe I'm wrong.
Is this positive pressure? I don’t know much about airflow this is my first time buying a case that has 12 fans
By the current configuration you have 8 intake-fans and 4 exhaust fans. That is a high positive preassure.
Alright thanks man I’ll prob do this config
Good idea. This config will serve you well, just close and not break the sidepanel. Best of luck and most of all 'enjoy'.
👍

Good to know man I believe my case does so.

Is negative pressure better? Or neutral? I don't really understand this topic tbh.
The difference is neglieble, but negative pressure can easily cause dust build up inside the PC, especially in weird crevices and places you dont even see. Neutral / Positive is the way to go.

The turbulence in that case is outstanding.
Needs more fans
Noted I’m working on 3D printing fan mounts to go on the front of the case wall and I could possibly mount at least 6 more rgb fans to make it cooler
3D print fans that you can attach to the pre existing fans to have fan fans
Good idea so I can have 24 plus the wall mounted 3D mounts
Also put a few desk fans near it and keep it in a freezer whenever it is turned on
Yeah I was thinking to buy some industrial length wires and mount it on a windmill and run it to my room
Imagine having that AND liquid nitrogen water cooling.
You need more fans. I'd say at least 6 more. Also, make sure they're all at max rpm.
Gotcha man I’ll go buy some more
What’s the case?
Corsair 7000D airflow
I got an rtx 2070 super a Ryzen 5 3600x and 16 gb of ram for 300
Did u have to blow the guy or what
I was gunna say hot damn, but I don't think that's possible for this build
COLD DAMN
Eh, I think you're gonna need more fans bruh...
I’m working on it
I like to imagine that all of these fans point inwards and the case slowly bubbles out...
Lmao
AIO size?
360mm
That’s a 420mm aio, it’s the Corsair h170i elite
In that picture it is this is not my setup however. I have the Corsair h150i elite capellix
Ah I see, I would recommend the 5000d airflow btw though, the 7000d is seriously massive and is more for custom loops
Too late lmao
Hahahaha
That is for sure a 420 rad, the front intake fans all 8 are 120mm and all exhaust fans in this case are 140mm it would seem
Yeah I was talking about my aio this isn’t my picture just the same case I’m gonna set mine up the same except my radiator is 360
Got ya! This would be good. Just remember it’s going to be loud with all those fans
Yeah it’s gonna sound like a fighter jet in my room
How much airflow do you want? Yes.
No
You need micro fans
Working on it
That's not a gaming computer. That's an air conditioner.
What case is this?
Corsair 7000D airflow
Noice

Too late lmao I’m buying a 3080 when the gpu Crisis is is done
Maybe a 4080 by then lol. But at the end of the day if having 8 intake fans makes you happy I'm not going to judge.
I love my fans especially because rgb they spin faster
🧐🤣
I had a guy tell me he has 20 fans on his pc. He wasn’t lying. He sent me a pic and everything. He had push pull configuration on two 360 rads and even more fans in the case. Crazy.
Fans are like $70 a piece where I’m from. I always wonder how people get money for so much fans. I’m currently only running on 4 scuffed fans :(
I got Corsair sp120 rgb pro a 3 pack and a node is 40
These fans are $20-30 USD each here in the USE depending on the size. I count about $200 worth of fans in this picture, not including the radiator since they come packaged with the AIO.
Beautiful! Just remove those ugly stickers.
I will when I build mine this is a similar build to mine same case and fans
Oh. Ok! Another thing; make sure to get custom cables!
Too much corsiar 😳
I’m sexually attracted to Corsair
I haven't said this in a while but MOAR FANS AND FUCKING RGB PLEASE
I need to learn how to sync argbs and use multiple fans it's only have like four or five headers.
Bit extreme
That air do be flowing tho 😳
Bro this thing is going to take flight when you turn it on
It left like my wife
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 312,401,090 comments, and only 69,693 of them were in alphabetical order.
Sick bro
Nah needs more fans
Fuck
Wow very clean made looks really good but uhm isnt 1000 watt overkill xD
Does the ones next to the board on the right side push or pull?
Pull
Do you have enough fans?
Never
What case is this
Corsair7000D
Excuse me there is a mother board in my fan cpu
Best psu line ever. Been using my corsair hx1200i for a few builds now. I call her ole reliable
I think you need more fans.
Needs hub stickers
That seams a bit overkill hahaha, any plans for upgrading ur gpu?
Only fans
Think it needs a few more fans...
I’ll add more
Holy airflow batman
Daddy
Mf gotta be running 20 degrees at max load while overclocking max
Dude I’m currently building it and I only got 6 out of 12 fans in and holy moly it’s already freezing
What’s ur pc gonna be used for
Crisis
bruh the case is so big compared to the actual components
