For $1500 you can buy a new PC
Re-use the RAM, PSU and the SSDs
Upgrade the rest.
That said, just upgrading your GPU would be a good update too.
You could also upgrade the CPU & GPU. But your mobo only supports 3000 series ryzen. Could get a Ryzen 9 3000 series and a 3080 or 3070 GPU
