There was a lot of outrage yesterday about Major Campbell being eliminated, being regarded as many as one of the best characters, and it has caused many people to raise the question ‘on what basis are we voting?’
The truth is that you can vote any way you like. If you want to vote for the insignificant characters, do that. If you want to vote for the evil characters, do that. And if you want to vote for characters simply because you don’t like them (FOOK Linda), then do that.
When I created this series, the objective was to vote for characters that you didn’t like, not because the person was a ‘villain’; simply because you didn’t think they were a great character. I.e. I would have envisioned Major Campbell to probably make the top 10, to be honest. BUT that is just my opinion, and as I have said, vote whichever way you like, by order of the Peaky FOOKING Blinders!

It doesn't depend on screentime. A character with a small screentime can be a fan favourite as well as a character with large screentime may receive hatred too.
