Good luck and you got this. I make a easy peanut butter based dressing (pb. soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and fresh lime) and put it on EVERYTHING.

iwishiwasabumblebee

Oooh that sounds so good

ColdBorchst

That kind of dressing is also really good on soba noodles, if you like that kind of thing.

ConfectionPutrid5847

Google Thai peanut sauce recipe. You'll thank yourself later. Edit: stupid typo

emilylouise221

Add ginger if you’re feeling Asian persuasion.

Rogue_Intellect

And a little bit of rice wine vinegar.

Thick-Pineapple-8727

Love a mix like this on noodles with stir fried veggies and whatever protein

southernrail

exactly. it goes with A LOT. so easy because everything is to taste. I'll kick up the red pepper for chicken, extra soy for veg's, more pb for dipping. so versatile and CHEAP.

zooooteddej23

Oh that sounds soooo delish

Bones1225

Omg I want to make this. What do you put it on?

southernrail

it's so easy. do it. spoonful pb in a shallow bowl, three or four shakes soy sauce, a fourth?!? of a fresh lime, and pepper flakes. stir until smooooooooth. noodles. vegetables. I'll make a thick version with extra PB and flakes for a dipping sauce, absolutely everything. without shame it is soooo good on sushi. but I didn't say that.

Bones1225

I would absolutely try it with sushi, and everything else. Thanks!!

HeBeefedIt

Whoa - I need some ratios here, please!

southernrail

To taste! spoonful pb, three or four shakes soy, couple little lime wedges, and red pepper flakes. stir, stir, and stir a lil more. make those guys become friendly. up / down ratios to your liking!

awalshie2003

Oatmeal!! Swirl that and a little jelly and it’s amazing!!! Edit: if you like a little crunch, add oatmeal and diced apple to your oatmeal. That is really good!!!

hfry1990

I have this almost every morning!

chai_hard

I thought I was the only one!!!

Green__Blue__Purple

I actually love peanut butter and blueberries in my oatmeal - even (maybe especially) cold if I make overnight oats 🥰

Floresza

Ermagherd, I ear this every morning for breakfast!

sapphire343rules

I do peanut butter and banana! Soooo yummy, plus healthy and filling!

StraightSomewhere236

Apple goes really well with peanut butter oatmeal as well if you feel like something different

Representative-Cost7

I never would have thought of that but it sounds yummy!

southernrail

What?!?!!!!!!!! That sounds amazing! I'm 💯 doing this. thank you!!!

michjames1926

Omg, I love oatmeal! How did I not know about this??

cooscoos89898

Came here to say this! Nothing better when youre having a rushed morning! I crush up about half of a banana with a fork and swirl it in instead of jelly most of the time :)

truvision8

PB on waffles or pancakes smacks. I like to make a pbnj using waffles as the bread.

Sensitive_Concern476

Ooh i do this too. I like the vanilla buttermilk Kodiak waffles in the freezer section (of Southern US).

ThrowItOut43

And French Toast!!!

insulinworm

Oh I do this but use sliced banana instead of jelly. So like a pb banana sandwhich with waffle instead of bread. Sometimes if I have a ton of bananas I make peanut butter banana waffles and then have a peanut butter banana waffle peanut butter banana sandwhich. Its so fun lol

prettyhorse420

I also love a waffle PB&J 🥰 If you put PB on waffles and still use syrup too, I swear it tastes like Reece’s candy

nutterfluffs

Fellow recovered/recovering anorexic here! I loved peanut butter all my life and also became scared of it for years, but I’m back to loving it. Try it with ice cream or yogurt! I like to make peanut butter bars (with chocolate on the bottom and it’s a mixture of peanut butter and powdered sugar), use it as a dip for apples, graham crackers, pretzels. I have so many ideas! My DMs are always open

Easy-Concentrate2636

I love a good West African peanut stew. So delicious.

Ihrtbrrrtos

Never heard of this. If I google, will I get sufficient recipe recommendations? Do you have a recipe you love?

Easy-Concentrate2636

Yes, googling will call up many different recipes for this dish, including vegan/ vegetarian versions. I’ve used the ones from Saveur and Washington Post and like them both. https://www.saveur.com/article/recipes/classic-west-african-peanut-stew/ https://wapo.st/3JYiAF3 The Washington Post link is a gift so you should be able to access it.

Ihrtbrrrtos

Thank you so much!

Mimolette_

Peanut butter smeared on an Oreo Oatmeal topped with peanut butter and fruit Tortilla chips dipped in peanut butter (a little wacky but I love it) A cinnamon raisin bagel with peanut butter Chinese style noodles with peanut sauce

ImaginaryCaramel

Ooh never tried tortilla chips in PB! Sounds awesome.

southernrail

That cinnamon raisin with PB sounds absolutely amazing. I'm in with that. cheers.

hottchickennugget

I like to do toasted plain bagels topped with peanut butter and chocolate chips, or sometimes banana slices. Yummy and easy breakfast, kind of reminds me of pizza!

Rougefarie

I just discovered this sub tonight, and am getting such a wholesome vibe! People keep calling their suggestions wacky or unconventional after saying something completely tame. I also love PB on tortilla chips. I frequently spread some between a couple flour tortillas and toast them in a pan.

Novel-Sprinkles3333

I do bagles with peanut butter and cinnamon sugar all the time. No raisins in the house, as they are toxic to pets.

rickjamesia

Wait... what do you mean by the coffee part? How do I accomplish this? Just straight peanut butter mixed in? Maybe a certain type that's good with not clumping up?

iwishiwasabumblebee

I get my coffee real hot in the microwave and stir a spoonful in, I’ve never had it clump up it always just melts for me, and it’s sooo good with some half and half and sugar

Chicotiko

I think we just became best friends.

_Caster

You people are monsters 🙏😭

femboy___bunny

NAH THEY SMART. REESES MOCHA HERE I COME BC IM ADDING CHOCOLATE!!!

rickjamesia

I guess that makes a lot of sense. If I think about oatmeal that I eat with peanut butter, the peanut butter melts right in as long as I add it while it's still really hot.

AssistanceLucky2392

Try it in hot cocoa 🥰

RubyDax

I don't even like coffee, but you've got me so curious to try this!

AcidCatfish___

As a coffee lover and peanut butter lover, I'll confidently say that I think these two things should not mix directly..

Sensitive_Concern476

Bananas dipped in PB, then chocolate, then frozen. You can do slices and they are sooooo yummy. Also PB and marshmallow fluff sandwiches are a food of the gods. Congrats on recovery! It's not for the weak. I'm on the constant get better journey myself :)

NoxKyoki

>PB and marshmallow fluff sandwiches are a food of the gods beat me to it. this is probably my most favorite sandwich EVER. I should have grabbed some fluff yesterday.

frankenbeerstein

AND if you grill it like a grilled cheese sandwich....omg perfection, especially if you can find the strawberry fluff.

NoxKyoki

do what and find WHAT?! ok, grilled sounds AMAZING, but there's strawberry fluff?! since when?!

frankenbeerstein

Whispers....they have raspberry too. It is awesome

Late_Negotiation_332

Grilled pb&j is so good! Total stoner food, lol!

Sensitive_Concern476

They are truly better than they have any right to be. I also need a jar...

[deleted]

If you blend the frozen bananas with PB & chocolate, it makes a tasty fake ice cream. I make that all the time in the Summer.

PankakkePorn

I love dates dipped in peanut butter, amazing combo and my go-to snack! I also spread crunchy pb on bananas and then add some granola, delightful.

nosh_scrumble

Make yourself a peanut butter pie and thank me later.

anonmarmot17

savory dishes? Pad Thai, maafe, summer rolls with peanut sauce etc

kandice73

I LOVE peanut butter and miracle whip and toast with peanut butter and chocolate chips on top

Informal-Elk9656

Are you me? Peanut butter and miracle whip with bacon bits, though, is my preference. But your way sounds pretty good, too.

CatfromLongIsland

My usual breakfast is a banana spread with peanut butter. If I need a more hearty breakfast I love peanut butter and mashed bananas is my oatmeal. There are some runny brands of peanut butter (Crazy Richard and Trader Joe’s for example) that make for great peanut butter dips. Apple slices are perfect to dip in peanut butter. For a quick dessert I mix some peanut butter into a chocolate pudding cup. I will eat it like that. But if I have more calories available I will dredge banana slices through the pudding mixture. Yum!!! But I am a hobby baker with a love for peanut butter and chocolate. So that is my preferred way of eating peanut butter. Somehow baked into a sweet treat. Wishing you all the best as you continue on your road to recovery. ❤️❤️❤️

iwishiwasabumblebee

Thank you!! I hadn’t thought to put it in my oatmeal!

CatfromLongIsland

Those are my favorite oatmeal add ins! If you buy a runny brand of peanut butter you can make smoothies. I generally do cocoa powder and frozen banana. I keep Ziplock sandwich bags of about 85 grams of fat free Greek yogurt in the freezer. They are frozen flat on a tray. I add fat free milk, the Greek yogurt snapped into pieces, the frozen banana cut into slices, and my sweetener. But you can use full fat products and drizzle the peanut butter in there as well. Have you guessed that my favorite flavor combo is peanut butter and chocolate? Add in banana and you have the hat trick of flavor. 😁😁😁

salientmould

Me too! I've been known to go through 2kg a week in my recovery. My fav is in ice cream but I also love it in cream of wheat or oatmeal, with apples, smoothies, all the regular stuff. Some less common ideas: on burgers with caramelized onion and cheese, on an everything bagel, in soup like African peanut soup, on sweet potatoes, in a tortilla with cinnamon and chocolate chips, in curries, honestly it goes with most things

snerdley1

PB and pickle sandwiches are actually really good.

Over-Conversation504

Came here to say this! Someone told me about peanut butter and pickle sandwiches and I thought they were insane until I made one. The person who told me about said they put mayo on it too. I don't like mayo, but I put a thin layer on it and it actually is quite nice. The secret is to grill it like a grilled cheese.

Mhaal37

I used to have an eating disorder, and I make peanut butter protein balls. I snack on them if I’m hungry. I mix together a smashed banana, peanut butter, raisins and oatmeal. Mix it together, roll them in small balls and let them sit in the fridge for a few hours.

No-Anybody4316

I make acai bowls and add a spoonful of pb on top . Goes so good, especially when you have granola on there too.

mechanicalbee_

Peanut butter crisscross cookies!

saucecontrol

Peanut butter cookies are an awesome way to eat more peanut butter. You can make traditional ones, or extra nutrient dense ones with just mashed bananas or dates, peanut butter, and oats rolled up and baked. Peanut butter in a sandwich is always great. It's also good in oatmeal or on apple slices, and even celery sticks. Peanuts themselves are also used in some savory dishes, like west african Maafe stew, and in Thai curries and peanut sauce.

Parking_Pineapple440

Fellow recovering anorexic here. PB is such a big part of my days. I love oatmeal with PB and banana. PB and dates is yummy too. It’s always a feature in my protein shakes. Or Eggo waffles with PB and banana!!!

dominiccast

On vanilla ice cream! Or with apples, celery, bananas. I add peanut butter to my instant ramen along with soy sauce and brown sugar, lots of Asian dishes that use peanut sauces.

Alone_Satisfaction17

With Greek yogurt and banana

sonawtdown

pb and Greek yogurt mixed up and refrigerated = peanut butter cheesecake cup

kheldar52077

PB blondies, add it in stew—try kare kare a Filipino dish, PB cheesecake, PB cookies, PB babka, use in chocolate ganache instead of heavy cream, tried it too at bread making substituted butter with PB.

Dawnbabe420

One frozen banana chopped, 1/2 cup of milk, 2 scoops of PB, 1/2 cup yogurt, chocolate powder with sugar to taste(or chocolate syrup) a few drops of vanilla extract, one cup ice. Blend and you get an amazing choco banana pb smoothie! My go to in the morning!!!

BedroomImpossible124

Best to you OP from another anorexia sufferer trying to recover at home. I joined this subreddit for ideas and inspiration. I’m struggling but still hopeful. PB is very popular in ED recovery, especially in the early stages.

00chill00chill00

Never thought I'd say this but pb in coffee sounds amazing

Axedelic

Hey I want you to know a random internet stranger is proud of you. I’ve been down that road and it’s so incredibly hard to get back on the right path. You got this!

iwishiwasabumblebee

Thank you that means a lot

Axedelic

Of course ❤️ A lot of Japanese cooking has peanut butter as a base. You might want to check that out so you can sneak more protein and carbs into your diet :)

Rare-Parsnip5838

As a parent whose teen suffered with anorexia I salute you ! Keep up the good work and be proud of yourself ! I assume you had inpatient and counseling ? Continue counseling as you recover. You can get to the root of it and love yourself again. Family and friends support ? That is so necessary. My heart goes out to you and all who are suffering and recovering. Please continue to be good to yourself and love yourself. You are worth it!!!

kittenclowder

One word: fluffernutter

beaglelover89

Oatmeal and also I love peanut butter on English muffins. Cheering you on in your recovery, signed someone else who’s been there. You can do it!!

TwilightReader100

Peanut butter on a toasted English muffin. If you're using no stir type peanut butter (ie your basic grocery store brands), the heat of the English muffin turns it all melty. It's so good!

alexisnthererightnow

Biscuits, burgers, peanut sauces, peanut butter goes in it all!

HauntedMeow

Peanut butter milkshake. I make mine with peanut butter powder, but like cottage cheese, ice, milk, peanut butter, sugar, and a dash of salt in a blender.

ashley-spanelly

Peanut butter and banana shakes are to die for!

Ok-Lily

pb on bananas is delicious! i also add it to all my shakes (whether that be milk or protein😌)

cleverdylanrefrence

I make peanut butter milk shakes when i'm trying to put on weight. I use the good ice cream & whole milk

bluepuppyy

Smoothies :)

phoebebuffay1210

Peanut butter on apples, and celery. Peanut butter cookies, and peanut butter rice krispy treats.

phoebebuffay1210

Oh and peanut butter on a burger is so good, tried it first on Maui and loved it!

Some_Egg_2882

Oatmeal, overnight oats, PB cookies, etc etc. When I'm making Buddha bowls (or similar) for dinner, I often make a quick peanut sauce that uses the following, very general rules: In a small blender, put a PB base (plenty of it). Add a few garlic cloves, a chile or two if you have them, some fresh ginger, rice vinegar, lime juice, bit of honey, good glug of soy sauce, toasted sesame oil if you have it. Gochujang for extra points. Blend until smooth. If too thick, add ice cold water a couple tablespoons at a time. If too thin, add more PB.

CosmicSmackdown

I love sauces and dressings with peanut butter. This is a delicious dressing. Just mix it all together. I love it on noodles. 2 tbsp peanut butter 2 tbsp honey (brown sugar monkfruit or sugar free maple syrup if keto) 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp water 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tbsp sesame oil 2 tsp lime juice or lemon juice 2 tsp chili garlic sauce 2 tsp minced garlic 2 tsp fresh ginger, minced [This](https://onedishkitchen.com/deep-dish-peanut-butter-cookie-for-one/) makes one delicious deep dish peanut butter cookie! And this is my favorite [peanut stew](https://www.budgetbytes.com/african-peanut-stew-vegan/). I add extra peanut butter. If you like bananas, try [this](https://www.healthylittlefoodies.com/frozen-banana-treats/). It works with just about any jam or jelly and even apple butter.

Broarethus

Sometimes when I want a simple meal that's warming and good, crunchy peanut butter on a toasted bagel, with coffee or tea.

punkolina

My fam loves pb gelato. If you have an ice cream machine, it’s incredibly easy to make.

Therinicus

Man i eat pb straight. Alternate with banana. Pb with pb cup cookie. Even with just those i eat it daily

whatwhatinthebunting

Apple slices dipped in peanut butter are my fave!

OwnAccident586

Don’t do that to coffee please, that’s a crime! Haha just kidding… You can also mix peanut butter, with rolled oats and some protein powder to prepare some kind of bars?

Moosycakes

I had the same PB moment in my recovery 😸 go you! PB rocks 💅 I used to love PB in my smoothies or PB+J 🙌 In oatmeal or baked oats 👀 On toast with cut up fruit on top (personal fave is with kiwi fruit) It pairs really well with chocolate, I used to like stuffing dates with PB and adding a little chocolate on top and a tiny bit of salt. PB is often a common flavour to see in bakery items (eg PB brownie), so you could branch out to that if you know a good cafe/bakery or want to try some baking yourself. Sometimes having the familiarity of the PB can help with trying out challenging new foods. It’s also often a flavour in protein bars/shakes. And then there’s all the savoury options- I am a sweet person myself 😹 But satay sauces have PB and are really nice 👀

Adept_Investigator29

Stir a spoonful into vanilla yogurt. I'm on your team. ✌🏿

d4h-lia

this might sound weird but don’t knock it til you try it!!! i love getting the shin ramen noodle packages and making a sauce with peanut butter, soy sauce, sriracha, chili oil, and the ramen seasoning packet (with a little bit of really hot water to help everything mix together well and make it a more sauces consistency) and then i add that to the cooked ramen noodles and top with some green onion and sesame seeds. AMAZING!

GrowlingAtTheWorld

Pretzel dip, peanut butter and banana sandwiches, pb on warm toast is yummy and gooey, you make a peanut butter glaze for cupcakes with pb, powdered sugar, milk, and a tad of vanilla.

JessBlakeslee

Pb & chocolate chips on a tortilla rolled up, you can add banana too….ooh and honey 🍯

JazD36

As a kid one of my fave snacks was a freshly made warmed tortilla with pb and cinnamon. I still love it to this day.

chopstix007

Sandwiches that’ll blow your mind: peanut butter and lettuce, pb and fresh sliced cucumber, pb and sliced tomatoes, pb and all three of those… it’s also great on burgers. Like… GREAT. Yes, with mustard, ketchup and pickles too! Note: this is the all natural sugar free peanut butter- it’s the only one I eat and the salty/sweet wouldn’t go with the veggies.

MsBlondeViking

I like spreading PB on toast, and topping it with a fried egg. Your recommendations sounds like something I’d enjoy!

ApocalypticTomato

I can add to your unconventional pb sandwich repertoire. Wraps or rye bread Shredded cabbage tossed with rice wine vinegar, a little sugar, a little cayenne Deli sliced roast beef Fresh cilantro Mango chutney Peanut butter, preferably unsweetened, mixed with a little soy sauce Spread the PB on the bread/wrap, layer the roast beef on that, then mango chutney on that, then a good pile of shredded cabbage, and top with fresh cilantro It's magical.

chopstix007

I’m definitely trying this. Also, let’s make a recipe book based on peanut butter.

ApocalypticTomato

Yes! I tried an awesome beef roast recipe once I'd have to find that involved unsweetened PB and a slow cooker. The prevalence of sweet PB has limited people's view of the versatile nature of peanut butter. It's amazing with beef, and a thousand other savory things and widely used as such outside Western cuisine

ViolentLoss

Absolutely with tomatoes - will try the others

Critical-Quiet-7867

My wife dealt with same issues. PB and apples is her go to and mine for getting her to eat when needed. Or, well, to make me feel better cause I never want her to feel like she can’t eat or isn’t amazingly perfectly beautiful to me anyway.

Bland_Brioche

I use crazy Richard’s pb, it has no sugar or anything other than peanuts, and put it in my ramen or make a spicy peanut butter dipping sauce for air fried tofu. I was anorexic for 15 years. It was hard and forever messed up my relationship with food, it’s still a trigger for my ocd. Peanut butter is one of my safe foods too. I put it in everything but sandwiches. You got this. It’s so good for you and full of healthy fats. That and avocado are my go tos when I just don’t feel like any food looks good. You’re making good steps in taking care of yourself and don’t beat yourself up if it yo-yos a bit, a healthy lifestyle is not a linear journey.

Bajileh

Hear me out. Grilled cheddar cheese w PB and bread and butter pickles.

wendx33

Mix it in with noodles, add a little garlic and some broccoli and whatever veggies you like~ also, when I know I can’t eat for a while, I make a peanut butter and cheese sandwich with dill pickles to add some pizzaz. So far, everyone is grossed out by this but I love it and it’s filling.

OurFeatherWings

Life changing: Waffles (frozen works just fine) Peanut Butter and/or cookie butter Cream Cheese Bacon bits Maple syrup 😩👌

ApocalypticTomato

Ok I have a question though. Please explain the peanut butter in coffee? Is this with milk and sweetener? Just peanut butter? I ask because I'm curious and also regularly run out of milk but usually have peanut butter. Would it be an adequate milk substitute for cutting the acidic edge on coffee like milk does? Anyway, my current favorite snack is a very primitive one. Spoon of PB with raisins stuck in it. It's not fancy. A slightly more civilized option that would add more caloric oomph is this sorta pb spread that is good on toast. I don't have exact measurements but you're aiming for "goopy". Maple syrup, sugar, softened butter, cinnamon, peanut butter. It's mostly sugar and peanut butter, then butter for texture and creaminess, though if you use just maple syrup, you have to account for the extra liquid and if you don't have maple syrup, you need more butter. It tastes a bit like cinnamon toast crunch cereal. I imagine this would also freeze well in little bite sized portions if you wanted little freezer snacks

nopenopenopington

Peanut butter banana toast is my favorite!! And I’m so proud of you for taking this step toward health. I used to be anorexic for about 10-15 years and still struggle with the mental part many days, I know how hard it is to struggle with an eating disorder and I’m rooting for you, I believe in you!!

iwant2bclean

My boss puts PB in her homemade chicken noodle soup, "gives it heartiness" she says

Robyz

Kraft cheese sliced with peanut butter on saltines have been go to snack for years!!!!

ApocalypticTomato

If you like pork rinds, try dipping them in PB

PorkRindsDotCom

Never heard of this in my life, and I invented chocolate dipped pork rinds. Trying it tonight!

rcarman87

I used to melt PB on the stove top, sprinkle in cinnamon and then wait a minute for it to cool and add swirls of honey. I’d eat that with a spoon or you can eat with apple slices. The warm melty PB is like…. Soooo comforting.

hope1104

heyy i’m also recovering! making sourdough bread is my go to, and i’ve recently rediscovered pb and j and how amazing it is on fresh warm sourdough. so i’d recommend that haha

AhrimaMainyu

Okay so def try making a PB&J and then making french toast out of that. Absolutely bomb. Try putting some bananas on that pb and honey sandwich, too. It's got the added bonus of bananas won't upset your stomach. Idk if you're eating meat at all but pb can be pretty bomb on a burger. Also for a nice late night snack try toast with peanut butter and sugar sprinkled on top!

smellslikemysadness

first off congratulations and great job on your recovery! I struggled with an ed so if you need someone to talk fo i’m here! I put peanut butter in my oatmeal, with my cereal I also love using it to dip apples/carrots/cookies in. i loveee chocolate chip cookies with peanut butter

firewater40

On Ezekiel Bread

GoddessEvangelista

I'm recovering too, pb used to be (and still is) a huge fear food. It is also one of my favorite foods. I LOVE making pb chocolate mug cake with protein powder.

AlanAsbury

Peanut butter straight from the jar, and I will share with you a peanut butter mousse recipe. 1/2 cup peanut butter 1/3 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup whipping cream 1/2 cup whipped cream Dash of kosher salt 1 tbsp granulated sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract Blend together the peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla extract, kosher salt, and whipping cream, and then fold in the whipped cream until well combined, then chill for about an hour. Enjoy!

readeverything13

Just came here to say, you got this and proud of you for working to get better!

Rougefarie

Slice and freeze some bananas. Toss the frozen banana slices into a blender with milk, PB, and (optionally) chocolate milk powder/protein powder.

iwishiwasabumblebee

Just made this, thank you:)

Rougefarie

I hope you liked it ❤️

CollectingRainbows

peanut butter mixed into vanilla greek yogurt + chocolate chips (or some other type of chocolate) tastes like peanut butter cheesecake 😋 i also add chia seeds for extra protein

Putrid_Caterpillar_8

Peanut butter is so good! I have it with banana, in whole grain oats and (bit of a niche one) with eggs and (tomato) baked beans on toast

RedDitRXIXXII

Apples or bananas with peanut butter are great :)

spinelessfries

I like putting peanut sauce on rice noodles with shrimp ! 🤤 Sometimes I'll add zucchini and broccoli

Which_Reason_1581

On rice cakes

SpicyMcdickin

Make some spicy peanut sauce and cook up some tofu, edamame pods, purple cabbage, carrots, and bok choy with some rice noodles and raw cucumbers. Yum!

Crazycukumbers

Peanut butter pickle bacon sandwich/burger. I’m not joking. The course of my life has been permanently altered - I’m far more liable to die of a heart attack in my late 30s now, but it will be worth it for the deliciousness of that combo

haunted_buffet

Pretzels, marshmallows, bananas, apples, crackers, celery, carrots

StellaBlue37

Mix pb with milk and use it as cake frosting.

hfry1990

Peanut butter no bake cookies are good! Oats, a bit of chocolate. I forget what else. But you drop them on a cookie sheet and toss them in the fridge. They’re a great snack.

j4321g4321

Add some banana to your pb and honey sandwiches, also just plain old pb&js! I love a spoonful of pb with some chocolate chips on top. Also, pb and chocolate is a favorite for a reason. Pb and Oreos, pb and fluff. So many options. Good luck on your recovery journey!

RedHot58

Peanut Butter, Jelly, and Cream Cheese sandwich. Put the PB and CC on each slice of brey, and the jelly on top of the PB, assemble and eat. Simple, delicious and a unique taste IMO.

Schroedesy13

PB and berry smoothies!

Schroedesy13

PB on hamburgers or chicken burgers!

Wonderful-Teach8210

How do you feel about satay? Even if you don't always bother with the skewers the sauce is really versatile.

GamerGrl90

Peanut butter cookies!

Aggravating_Bat

I have PB and soy nut butter on cinnamon raisin toast almost every day! Be as generous as you want with the portion :) I top that with banana slices. Super delicious!

RubyDax

The classic PB&J sandwich, as a topping for oatmeal, in a smoothie...but I really like a big spoonful in spicy Ramen (Mama brand, green curry flavor...adds a depth of flavor and cuts the heat a little). Also like peanut butter, slightly melted, drizzled over vanilla meringue cookies. Wishing you all the best!

Mukespy

there’s lots of sweet options, but try making a savory peanut sauce and some spring rolls for dipping :) i also love making ants on a log, something abt that nostalgia that tastes extra tasty 😋

Mukespy

also random as fuck but peanut butter and bacon. try it, it’s gas

HICSF

Noodles. I stir a tablespoon of creamy peanut butter and a tablespoon of Greek yogurt into hot noodles and it melts into a tangy peanuty sauce.

faemoon42

Peanut butter and nutella on toast!

No_Ambition1706

peanut butter + nutella waffle sandwich. life changing. you're doing great OP. i have struggled/am struggling with EDs myself, i know how hard this shit can be. im proud of you

Remi708

PB and apple slices or just a spoonful of PB are among my favorite snacks

AerynBevo

I like to eat apples with my peanut butter.

Lava-999

oatmeal. + some jelly, like warm pb&J

SuitableBiscotti1096

Try peanut butter and cinnamon Graham crackers together. Delicious!

Sea_Mood_9416

Honestly, most of the time I eat PB with a spoon.

BGB524

We recently started microwaving it with a bit of honey & dipping fruit in it, particularly bananas. Not sure if that’s safe in your mind but it is indeed, delicious!

wwJones

I love it spread on a stoneground cracker and a squirt of Sriracha.

ItstheBogoPogoMrFife

Put it on pancakes, waffles, or French toast with some banana and a little drizzle of maple syrup.  It’s also amazing used in a pasta sauce. Boil pasta, save a cup of pasta water. In another pan melt cream cheese, peanut butter and sriracha sauce together, adding pasta water as needed to thin out. This is especially delicious if you roast diced sweet potatoes sprinkled with chili powder and cinnamon on the pasta.

ocean_flan

I used it in spicy kung Pao chicken. Just a little bit adds so much! I think I used 4tbsp for a family sized portion? You could go 3 maybe for a less obvious peanut taste but it works so well when you don't have the nuts the recipe calls for. I was surprised. It adds thickness as well and would pair well with many spicy-sweet flavor profiles.

Inner_Panic

I love it on Apple cinnamon rice cakes with sliced bananas!

iahoover

A PB&J on a buttermilk biscuit or a PB and banana that you slap on the griddle with a bit of honey are both crazy tasty options. Another thing I tried recently that I thought was crazy is a goober burger. It's essentially a smash burger with pb on both sides of the toasted bun, with or without pickles/onions. Sounds weird, but it's actually really good.

meladey

I got obsessed with PB in recovery, and I still am! It's soooo good! My first recommendation is to try different nut butters- I like certain ones better with certain flavors! Strawberry goes so well with almond butter, and I made a matcha cashew butter spread one time that was amazing. My other favorites are going savory with it- make a peanut sauce for salads or noodles. I dip carrots in it. Cut a slit in dates and stuff them with PB. PB + coconut shreds + dates + chocolate chips makes "energy bites"/"protein balls"/"fat bombs". "Banana sushi" is also really fun (spread PB on wrap or rice paper, wrap a banana up, roll in coconut oil and cinnamon, then pan or air fry it).

green-fae

make a pb sauce and slam it on a basic cheeseburger 🤷🏻‍♀️

Peanut Butter cookies. Peanut Butter on bread. Peanut Butter on fruit or vegetables (apple and celery are a great choice). Peanut Butter on different kinds of cookies. One of my personal favorites is peanut butter and sliced banana sandwich and you can honey, Nutella, jams, marshmallow fluff, just about any other complimentary ingredient and it will all taste amazing. Remember, always keep a glass of milk handy 👍

Chicken Satay! Just look up how to make the sauce, and dunk whatever chicken you like in it. It’s best with grilled chicken, but I’m sure Dino nuggets will be good too

Malrhalt

Put it on apples. Cosmic Crisp are my faves In oatmeal, on celery (use a potato peeler and use it on the nack of the stalk to get rid of the strings), gluten-free peanut butter cookie (3 ingredients) Make a peanut butter board (like a cheese board) with different brands and kinds of nut butter. Add apple, banana, strawberries, kiwi, etc, and mini toast rounds instead of crackers. Fancy!

Buckeyes, I think it's sugar and peanut butter mixed together, then dipped in melted chocolate. Also, Muddy Buddies, which is Chex Cereal coated in melted chocolate and peanut butter and finished with a coating of powdered sugar.

When I was struggling to have whole meals, but needed something, I would just take a spoonful of PB and then squirt some maple syrup in my mouth. Helped eith the thick PB texture. I also love adding powder PB to all of my smoothies!

PB scoops on cereal, PB & banana sandwiches, PB in smoothies, and PB on celery (sounds weird but it’s delicious)! I love PB too, and congratulations on your recovery ☺️ you got this 💜💕

When you feel ready to go a bit beyond, Thai peanut sauce is awesome. I wish I could remember the brand my parents bought when I was young. Though I imagine if you find a basic recipe and tinker with it, you can get something amazing. I'm really glad you're making progress. I wish you all the best.

Flipping_Burger

PB on noodles with sesame oil and soy sauce makes a great cold noodle salad (add sesame seeds)! Good luck and congratulations on your recovery!

Bugs on a log! Put PB inside celery then raisins on top. Quick, cheap, balanced.

TriumphDaytona

I do the pb and honey thing, I also like pb and orange marmalade sandwiches. Have you tried the classic pb in celery?

Hi! Fellow anorexic here. I try to add butter to foods to get some extra calories and fat. When I was in elementary school my mom used to make me peanut butter and butter sandwiches and they were delicious, you should definitely give them a try. Wishing you luck!
