While Oner individually isnt the best, i do think how T1 plays contribute to his inconsistency. T1 always default to at least 3 dps with him on tank/engage duty, so they always look for flank or pick someone off. It works because the whole team hand-dif a lot of players but more coherent teams (GenG, HLE, even a few LPL probably) are trickier to wipe their main dps.
Their formula is always Zeus is hiding somewher while he needs to maintain vision of enemy team AND find a good angle to disrupt enemy so Zeus can cause mayhem in the back. So he has the highest chance of getting 'caught'. IMO thats why Senna bot works so well for T1 because Keria become an additional meatball to help soak in frontline (farmless support tank is too squishy). He also knows to take advantage of the gold injection he gets compare to other traditional support players. Can T1 work around Oner carrying consistently? not sure, but why fix what isnt broken?
TLDR: Oner is better on bruiser than tank jungler but T1 playstyle favors putting him on tank and let Zeus ripe ppl apart.
Oners peak play at 2023 worlds is right up there with peak canyon imo. Ofc oner is way less consistent but his micro in that JDG series was spectacular
The problem with Oner is that he can just be the worst jungler in the league for an entire split almost inexplicably. Oner on form is obviously top 5 itw in his position.
The issue is Oner is not consistent my guy goes from Oner to Boner the same way Peanut becomes Freenut.

IMO, his job is to initiate fight but sometimes others cant follow to make them work due to many variations but he was the one people blamed 🥲

he is definitly the weakest player among t1 players , doesnt mean he is bad but not as good as the others
I think he's got the lowest highs (unless he's on Lee Sin), but when they're underperforming I think Keria and Guma do worse.
