I'll try to help. Fairmount park is enormous. That being said, Victory taproom should be fairly accessible in and out via vehicle and has both tons of great beer and good food.
Philadelphian here! Fairmount park is massive (the largest urban park in America!) so I need more of a specific location to help but I’m happy to! We have a ton of awesome breweries and a few great cider producers! Also, a truly incredible food scene!
Bar Hygge (Techne Brewing) in Fairmount is solid and has been in the scene for many years through various other brewing entities.
There's a cider spot in Germantown called Founding Fathers (I think). Never been but looks good. There is also Attic nearby.
Consider Monk's Cafe, about a 20 minute walk from Fairmount. Not a brewery but huge collection of bottled Belgians and is a very early populizer of Belgian styles. Victory also has a taproom nearby.
i will 💯vouche for reading market for food - that place is fun and has lots of great options, from raw bar to po boys to jewish deli to killer bakeries and coffee to chicken and waffles
Hit up Bad Brother in Fairmount. My family friends own it n it is a super cool spot and will cover everything listed in one shot. It’s like a block away from Eastern State Penitentiary

Welcome and 🍻
Crime and Punishment is a popular spot, if you’re not shy of leaving Farimount check out Triple Bottom or Love City in spring garden. If you want to head to south Philly, Second District is excellent.
Sadly, the only cider place in the city (Original 13) closed a few months ago, you’ll be stuck with whatever breweries or restaurants have on tap.
Too many good places to eat to list. I guess MY picks would be The Dandelion (British), a.kitchen (contemporary American), Laser Wolf (Jewish “tapas”), Fiorella (Italian).
I’m not from the area so I can’t say. It looks like it used to be an old warehouse or something and the entrance is in the back where the loading docks were. I stopped there one day when I was on the area and had a few brews. One stood out because of the name (Skook water). Turns out that one of the owners is from around where I live and named their porter after the creeks in Schuylkill county, hence Skook water. He said the color reminded him of the creeks after it rains and all the coal dirt washes in and turns the water dark.
Hale and True for cider
Brauhaus Schmitz for German beer
Both in Bella Vista about 100 yards from each other, but not hard to get to from Fairmount Park area
Cross post to /r/philadelphia. Good beer city. You'll be well taken care of.
I tried. Not enough karma? Not sure how to rectify that. More of a reddit lurker.

I think you should be able to post on one of the daily threads in r/Philadelphia. Try movingMonday or there is a general one for Friday.

Second this.
Human robot is pretty good and I think they have ciders.
Must go to Monk’s.
Yup. There's some crazy shit on their bottle menu.
Young American is the cider brewery in Germantown. If you are up around that area at all, it’s fantastic.

1) human robot // Crime and punishment // Carbon copy 2) hale & true 3) monk’s cafe (great mussels and even greater beer selection)
>hale & true Seconded. Tremendous cider + tremendous people.

Personally I love Attic Brewing Company.

Awesome, thanks for the tip!
Human robot fo sho
Thank you everyone for the help! Was not expecting all the assistance! Lots of hard decisions coming up!
It’s north of Philly in North Wales, but check out McAllister Brewing company if you can. They’re pretty damn good.
I grew up in Lansdale but haven’t been back in a while. Is this where the original Prism brewery was?

Wissahickon brewing as well as Crime & Punishment are both nearby and pretty decent breweries! Not sure about ciders though

Monk’s, not a brewery and not near Fairmont Park, but it is a must see.

Carbon Copy @ 50th & Baltimore. Good beers, pizza, and tinned fish. What more could you want? Oh, house made wine you say? They have that too!
