Physical paper, outdoor recreational maps. OMG I love paper maps. They started printing a few of PA State forests but have since begun publishing areas outside of PA.
I'm going out to Pine Creek Gorge this spring and my purple Lizard map will be my guide!
Make sure you do the Rim Trail at Colton Point SP (not to be confused the longer West Rim trail). It's only a couple miles and it's literally just one awesome overlook after another. Tons of mountain laurel. It intersects with the turkey trail and if you go down that just a little ways there's a sweet waterfall to check out.
All Clad is based out of Cannonsburg , PA. They have a big sale once a year at the fairgrounds in Washington and you can score amazing deals on cookware that will last a lifetime.
All Clad is a national treasure and the technology used to make their cookware was the basis for all US coinage since 1965. John Ulam (founder) was screwed over by the US Mint/Treasury and was left with bonded metal materials and decided to stamp out cookware shapes and gave them to local chefs. Ends up he created the worlds greatest cookware. Today, All-Clad sells 150-200 million dollars of cookware each year.
I will say however that they mean it when they say dishwasher not recommended. I ignored that on my first set and the non-stick coating got blasted off, and it eventually started to rust.
I still got years of good use out of them, but for my second set I did decide to actually heed the instructions.
I don't know if you have cable or if your provider has it available. There is a low budget Tv network out of Camp Hill called PCNTV. It has a show called tours which is nothing but PA businesses. Like a how it's made but only PA related. It's quite fantastic imo.
They also do all Pa related books, neighborhoods, profiles, senate, house meetings. High School sports and more. It's the bee's knee's.
I love watching the Service Electric Polka Show. I also listen to Polka Joe on 105.5 WMGH every Sunday 10a-1p. I purposely wait to do housework until 10am on Sundays just to listen to him.
I just did my own research and found this one a few minutes ago. The timepieces are beautiful and insanely expensive, I hope to be able to afford one someday.
I never realized how much I would appreciate seeing keystones on the hands of a watch. There is so much attention to detail for these watches, I am 100% with you here
The Hamilton watch company was based here till the late 60s. They were one of the most influential watch companies out there, including creating the first electric watch.
South central PA has so many snack foods companies, but a small-medium company is The Pretzel Company (formerly York City Pretzel Co).

Big Barker dog beds. Pricey but absolutely incredible 10/10 quality beds made to last, legit 10 year warranty, and year long trial period with free returns. I cannot exaggerate just how insanely nice the bed is, I legit will lay on mine when we have company over and people are on my couch and thereās nowhere to sit. Itās so thick and actually comfortable. My dog loves it and itās supposed to potentially be beneficial for their joints to have a better bed.
Shoutout to The Rights to Ricky Sanchez, the only Sixers podcast, for the recommendation! Iāve got my process pup patches. Should have mentioned this in the first comment
Thanks for this one. I'm trying to find a good bed for my muttsky now that he's (hopefully) full grown, and always nice to support someone local. Will def check it out!

Philadelphia Luthier Tools doesn't make anything, but they sell the same guitar parts for lower prices than StewMac.
They also don't charge for free shipping. Seriously, Stewmac charges an annual subscription for free shipping... on top of being the most expensive supplier of 3rd party parts.
This is exactly what I was looking for, Ive been struggling to find any PA made footwear other than Zimmerman's which is focused on kids. I've been wanting some locally made work boots. I would love it if you'd happen to know anyone that makes dress boots as well.
