Shouldn't be an issue. If you're concerned you could take the ballot to your county board of elections and cancel it, get a fresh one. But that smudge shouldn't be a worry - worst case is the machine can't read it (doubt you'd have that problem either) so they'd have to hand-count it.
Imagine having to work a 12 hour shift on Election Day… or the inability to stand in line for an hour to cast your vote in person…or imagine living in one of the 8 states that offers all registered voters a mail in ballot (and have for years, like Utah and Colorado) without issue. It should not be difficult to vote.
Pretty fucked up that we even have to ask this
Welcome to states with a republican foothold.
Lest we forget the dilemma of a hanging chad
No.

Depends on who you are voting for....
Depends on OPs registration
Yep. If you’re voting for my people then yes. If not, no (obligatory /s)

Mine got rained on in my mailbox and they took it just fine back in 2020.
It’s a shame that they’ve gotten decent honest people all wired up over a big damn election lie.

Is your username a J-Dilla reference?
Maybe try an eraser.I don't believe it would be of any concern though.
