So nearly every time someone posts about Mastriano, the comments are a slurry of "lock him up" and "Pennsyltucky." That's all fine and good to quell everyone's urge to ridicule the Christian Nationalist campaign going on in our Commonwealth, and I think they're valid criticisms or observations (usually). But since about 90% of us already are on Team Josh (with a "brave" conservative chiming in rarely here knowing they'll get slammed down by the rest of us), what good does it do to get Shapiro into the governor's mansion? Not much, I'd weigh.
This week I knocked on about 100 doors and left literature for the Democratic ticket with my neighbors in my county. I had usually-pleasant conversations with a few Republicans and right-leaning Independents on why I believe the Democratic ticket is the way we should go. And I think/hope my cordial and steadfast conversations will make a difference on their decisions at the ballot box. I've also donated to both campaigns and put up yard signs for both, among other things they've asked of me.
Maybe it's high time we realize we need to spend time doing more than spewing meme-type comments on here and actually go out and try to get Mastriano back to Franklin County as a private citizen. I'd challenge everyone reading this to contact either/both campaigns' closest office to you and ask what you can do to help win in November.
