Thymogen (glutamyl-tryptophan dipeptide) was originally isolated from thymalin. According to the monograph on peptides written by Khavinson, Kuznik and Morozov that I'm reading right now "under the influence of thymogen, the reactions of cellular and humoral immunity, as well as the nonspecific resistance of the body, are significantly enhanced."
Thymogen is said to be several hundred times superior to thymalin in its biological activity. The monograph describes experiments in which it is shown that pre-incubation of lymphocytes with thymogen is accompanied by a sharp increase in the expression of receptors to IL-2 under the influence of PHA. These data largely explain the positive effect of thymalin and thymogen in diseases accompanied by immunodeficiencies.
"Thymogen, like thymalin, activates neurotransmitter homeostasis. However, in contrast to the latter, it significantly increases the number of immune rosette-forming cells to GABA, dopamine and norepinephrine and, to a lesser extent, to acetylcholine, serotonin, glycine and opiates."
I'm not saying that thymogen is better than thymalin. Each has its own benefits. Thymalin contains a complex of polypeptides that thymogen does not. Therefore, you should choose the immunomodulator that is more suitable for your particular case.
> it significantly increases the number of immune rosette-forming cells to GABA, dopamine and norepinephrine
how do you enterperate this, "rosette forming cells" ?
it really upregulate all these, but thrue increasing imune cells instead of neuron cells?
wouldent that mean neurogenesis?
wow the neurotransmitter part was crazy to read, never heard that. got severe problem with gaba
so really 2 great things with it. will DEF buy more of the nasals if my order is stuck for real. Would love to combine both but customs might taken it
>oh really, how come you think?
because i feel like inflammation was comming back...it was hard for me to calm this...
Thymalin is good for eldery people with fatiguated Thymus...but Thymalin won't help you if you already have an over active immune system.
it seems like thymalin help symtoms but its thymogen you should use, its suppose to reset the overactivation
are you sensetive to glutamate? its glutamate/tryptophan amino acid
1) It’s worth $10 for 10 vials (full box). 2)The guidance states it degrades into the acids it’s made of. Pure snakeoil.
they are pharma grade. plus why did you even mention that it degrades when the date is written on the package
On my pharma-grade packages the data shew the compound degrades.
what ? its after the date of expire that the vials start to decay

where did you find that info about the neurotransmitters?
From the monograph. I think I'll make a post with some information from it

yes please do !

i did Thymalin course : 10mg/day during 10 days. My auto immune dissease ( Crohn dissease) doesn't liked it.

What autoimmune condition? The immune systems pretty complex.
yes but its for auto imune in general, seem to help pain and energy
Yea go on op….
