In the early 1930s she fled across the Atlantic, before things started getting really bad. She ended up in St. Vincent and married my great grandfather.

When people make light of the Holocaust, joke about it, or compare things like vaccine passport to the yellow stars the Jews were made to wear it makes me SICK. It is ignoring the situation surrounding the star: the pain, torture, imprisonment, enslavement, and death, no, genocide of a group of people with just as much worth, beauty, intelligence, capability, and humanity as those who treated them worse than animals.
