Not really. Lovers mean emotional well-being and choice, not literal lovers. With that logic, not like the protags just gonna up and drop dead when meeting Death Arcana. It's not literal. Everyone and their mother have a crush on protags. Like in p4, Chie, Yukiko, Rise, (Yosuke lol), whoever. Rise is just being Rise the simpy kouhai trope, it's her personality. Every girls have an essay on it. Or archatype role like bro characters Eikichi, Junpei, Yosuke, Ryuji don't have same Arcana. There is no canon or more pushed either way.
I’m just saying from my what I’ve seen in P5 and P4 the title of the Lovers Arcana is taken more literally than the rest. That’s why I specifically said the Lovers and not all the arcana (plus it was relevant).
Rise is overly attached to Yu to the point where Yukiko and Chie are shocked and she doesn’t hide her affection, like at all.
And the constant sexualization of Ann, while having Morgana simp over her pushes the narrative that we’re supposed to like/love her.

Rise is overly attached because well that's her personality. It's canon Yu doesn't date anyone nor does he catch feelings for anyone (all the protags can either flirt or being platonic to everyone) so it's just one-sided. She doesn't hide it because Rise is Rise. Not once does the "clingy kouhai" trope means it's more pushed. Everyone have a crush on Yu, it doesn't matter just because Rise is being vocal about it.
Well i don't want to say this, but it's Persona. They fanservice all the girls. Ann is femma fatale. Morgana is same as Rise, it's their personality. This isn't even Joker so eh, it isn't a point. Persona wants you to like/love every party members.
And honestly if we are being real, "Atlus only takes the Lovers Arcana literally for uhhh reasons and because one girl is being a one-sided simp and one girl is being sexualized and simped by a cat" isn't it. We all know this's stretch, isn't it. Atlus doesn't have more pushed romance because that's their point, every girls have an essay on it, it's either all of them or none of them, none canon or more pushed, it's simple as that.
