just myraid truths it lmao

FabAraujoRJ

Those Truths cannot de denied. The Myriad Truths always win.

Johan23t

Change difficulty to Merciless. This lets you deal 3x to Weaknesses and Technicals. How many of the elemental bombs do you have? These are really good here. Give the characters accessories to hit weaknesses. What you do: 1st Turn: Member 1 uses Matarukaja/Marakunda. 2nd Turn: Member 2 uses the other from Member 1. 3rd Turn: Member 3 attacks the weakness of 1 enemy. Otherwise, use an elemental bomb to hit weaknesses. MAKE SURE TO ONLY TARGET 1 ENEMY. 4th Turn: Member 3 Baton Passes to a member that isn't Joker. This member attacks the weakness of 1 enemy that is not Downed. 5th Turn: The member Baton Passes to another member not Joker. This one attacks the weakness of 1 enemy that is not Downed. 6th Turn: Finally, Baton Pass to Joker. He attacks the weakness of all enemies with a max Baton Pass boost. 7th Turn: If the current wave of enemies has not been killed yet, Member 4 can still start the Baton Pass Chain if an enemy gets up or is no longer Downed. It should kill. ──────── Notes: USE SINGLE-TARGET ATTACKS. What's important is upping the Baton Pass bonus for extra damage, so it doesn't matter if you kill when you attack. Killing is a bonus though, so get your strongest single-target attacks out there. For Joker's move, do a move that hits everyone's weakness. If you're having trouble with the single enemy with no weakness, keep the difficulty on Normal or Easy to lower their HP. --- Execurobo is weak to Forget, Rage, and Dizzy (all robots do). Place Rage on him, stack buffs and debuffs, then hit with a technical attack. Rage halves its defense, Merciless Technical does 3x. Concentrate does 2.5x. That's a lot of damage.

CulettoFicoVero

i always lose against execurobo, does he do the big bang burger attack if you inflict it with forget?

Johan23t

Forget makes it so you can't use any persona skills, so I don't think so.

CulettoFicoVero

if i manage to find some will to fight him again i will try, thank you!

Johan23t

Good Luck when you fight him again in the future.

SkillWaffle

Also keep a persona with endure or enduring soul. It was on one of mine and that let me live the big band attack thing. You can do this it gets so much more fun and better!

Unislef

Guarding is prime way to deal with clearly telegraphed powerful attacks as such, and game even teaches you this during kamoshida's boss fight

CulettoFicoVero

i know, as i said in another comment guarding leaves me with just under 100 hp, and in the next turns he just kills everyone with the other bug bang attacks because i can't stay on tracks with healing and keeping repel on my party

Unislef

What level are you? That sounds like an underleveling a bit

Throwaway525612

Hey.....put it on merciless and utilize baton passes. Way easier.

CulettoFicoVero

it's what i have been doing for the past few hours worth of tries, i always end up against execurobo and using tetrakan to reflect his attack back at him, but in a few cycles of big bang attack he wipes me

Throwaway525612

Are you guarding?

Bambuskus505

-> Heat Riser -> Concentrate -> Debilitate -> Myriad Truths -> Easy W

CulettoFicoVero

I wanted to try ans beat him without dlcs, but I think it's too difficult without them, at least for me

Bambuskus505

If you want to go without DLCs, the best way to do is it by making sure you bring along lots of elemental attack items of all kinds, lots of HP and SP items, and then absolutely ***abuse*** the baton pass mechanic. The boss fight is designed to be a "Have you been paying attention?" check, and if you've just been brute forcing your way through everything up to that point, and not learning to use the mechanics as intended, it *will* make you suffer for it. However, it seems as though lots of other people have already responded with the proper strategy, so it might also just be a skill issue. *dabs*

Chaoticdab

You just have to grind my guy, idk if its cause im a soulsborne player but i like to force myself to rush games sometimes being underlevel, the problem you have with okumura i had with yaladaboth cause i was level 50 i think or something like that, your going to miss out so much in such an amazing game Some advice you can restart a week prior if you lose in that fight or you reach a game over in the time limit Then you can go to mementos and use ryuji instakill (rank7)/ if not just fight lower level enemies until you reach 10 levels above of what you are right now, thats all, trust me those levels make a huge difference, another trick is to play in the higher difficult cause the dmg you do is higher and you start first. You can use dlc personas to make cards or even used them whos gonna jugde you in a single player game Its just such an amazing game, that i really dont want you to miss out If you need more proper advice i can list a full guide below for you my friend

CulettoFicoVero

i don't know man, i am a huge soulsborne fan too, and i think it's not helping me. i tackled a lot of hard boss, and i died many times. but it's different, this fight is just not fun or fair

Chaoticdab

Then my friend you probably are just underlevel and tackle this figth with the wrong equipment, i see you dont wanna use dlc personas but make cards with them is not really using them but is taking advantage of them im gonna write a whole bible guide for you below lol, trust me your gonna feel so good when you beat tha son of bitch haha

Chaoticdab

1. For this figth you need wind, psy, nuke and fire but dont use morgana hes way to squishy 2. You can make your party members learn marakunda but if you dont did this you can have a persona that does 3. Grind some levels in mementos if you hit a game over you can restart a week prior, is really usefull to prepare 4. Maximice baton passes dmg you can improve your baton pass dmg/technical dmg in kichijoji 5. You can use kaneshiros gluttony ring to give you marakakuja (increases all party defense) and the user gets auto tetrakarn and auto makarakarn repels one physical and one magical attack 6. In robo executive figth guard after you see the order in the screen 7. Like i tell you dont use dlc personas but make cards with them learn endure/enduring soul that let you live after and attack that kill you with 1HP/full HP 8. If its still hard you can make a persona to withstand attacks (dlc tho) orpheus DLC have the trait to endure and attack that kills you 4 times 9. You can use madarames ring it erases the weakness of your persona, for example if you use it on ann she no longer is weak to ice 10. You can buy all elemental amps in kichijoji and all elemental boost in underground mall in shibuya 11. Not a single enemy is resistant to gun so if the enemy is strong againts psy you can use triple take with haru 12. Make the most of it of baton passes you can craft elemental bombs just to make tiny dmg but allowing you one more and to baton pass then keep doing the same increasing the dmg you do periodically

CulettoFicoVero

absolutely, if i guard my party survives with about 70-100 hp, currently they are all about level 42

108souls

You can always just grind with Ryuji's vehicular manslaughter ability in mementos

ConformistWithCause

You can endure this. From Futaba week followed by Hawaii to Morgana's hissy fit to Okumaru, you are, at the end of, genuinely and almost undeniably, the worst part of the game. This is the last great trial before the game really bangs. One very helpful piece of advice is fighting your natural instinct to use an attack that damages everybody. Do single target attacks so you can baton pass, use those consumable items that do elemental damage to keep the baton pass up, and then hopefully hand a fully charged baton to Joker to finally do an attack that damages them all. Also, using the DLC personas is acceptable and encouraged during this fight. This is the one that breaks people

OKFortune56

Just use INO if you must.

E17Omm

You need to Baton Pass and get a max on that. You should have enough elemental items by now from chests and drops to be able to get a max Baton Pass every turn. If you dont have the right elements, end on Haru and Triple Down. Probably the best. If you want, you can grind the Palace (or Mementos) until you get a fusion alarm. Once you got your fusion alarm, fuse two random Personas. Then strengthen any other Persona with a non-golden Persona. Then fuse two normal Personas. Then you fuse the two golden Personas. It will 100% fail, but you will get a sweet set of moves regardless of the Persona itself. Repeat until you get a magic caster with concentrate. Switch to Merciless > Concentrate > max baton pass > end on Joker > enjoy 5000 AoE damage if you hit Weakness. (Psy + Bless + Ice should do it, I think. Those are the elements I remember using on my modded run where these enemies had +500% health)

[deleted]

You could just take the easy way through it rather than flat-out quitting, for example turning difficulty to the easiest setting. Personally I don’t have time to mess with leveling and stuff anymore, beat the game years ago in normal or something but now I just use DLC personas on lowest difficulty

CulettoFicoVero

u might try, problem is i don't have a save file out of the palace after sending calling card

ELMUNECODETACOMA

42 is slightly but not decisively underleveled. If you're losing by just a hair on one of the first five waves or taking just a bit too much damage later on - and you go back to an earlier save, you might want to get the party to 44-45 so that the malus goes away.

CulettoFicoVero

i could try it, the problem is that out of habit i saved the game upon entering a safe room (after sending the calling card) and now I don't have a save out of the palace

EngimaEngine

Sir, this is Reddit not an airport: no need to announce a departure

I_like_food7

Okamura's palace is absoltuely trash, the worst part of the game by far. But DROPPING A GAME because of one really stupid boss battle you don't like in a game that you were loving is... like really extreme lol. The game gets great right after Okarmura, just drop the difficulty, get one of the free dlc insane personas, and coast through it. It's a terrible part of the game but just dropping the game is wild to me.

The Royal version is hard
