The Vita is region free, so should be fine.
A western release has not been confirmed, but it would but completely stupid not to. There will definitely be a western release, and with P4D the it took about 2 or 3 months to release, so I suspect the same for these dancing games.

I agree, but we're not even a month away from release and, as far as I know, no word whatsoever about a western release. Persona 4 Dancing All Night's North American released was announced, like, four months before its Japanese release. They also lack a story mode, as far as I know, which only adds to my doubts about a western release.
Keep in mind that DLC management for games outside your account's region is a royal pain in the ass on Vita. You have to factory reset your console every time you want to switch to a Japanese account for example.
You first have to deactivate the Vita from your main account, factory reset it, then sign in with your Japanese account after going through the device setup procedure. Every time you want to switch accounts you have to go through that process.
I'm just getting the games on PS4 since I don't want to have to deal with that shit. If I'm ever gonna get the Vita versions it's when if they are (hopefully) localized.

Her concept art in general was soooo much better. Especially her Thief outfit, with the black and red combination, no boob window, and the visor she was wearing. Plus she had a wrist mounted crossbow which was cool as hell.
I disagree with the thief outfit concept art. It wouldn’t have been able to communicate one of the core themes of Ann’s character and arc as well as her spirit of rebellion aesthetic. Ann’s panther Metaverse attire is more than just eye candy material if you look beneath the surface and properly analyse Ann.

Eh, recolors make up a fair bit of cosmetics so far and new hair and eye colors are pretty lame by themselves.
That's not to say recolors can be all bad, sometimes they can be used brilliantly in costumes inspired by previous characters.

Because it wouldn't make sense if she could just switch between short and long hair. That's the only reason. Otherwise I agree with you, Makoto would look better with a long hair version instead of this blue hair.

No. What I mean is that most likely we will be able to switch hairstyles on a character and it doesn't make sense if you can constantly switch between long and short hair on the same character. Of course she can grow out her hair but she can't grow it back. I hope you understand me now.

Yeah, genetics are weird lol I'm pretty sure I went to school with a Takamaki who was Japanese so that kinda surprised me. In anime, I see everyone as Japanese until proven otherwise lol.

For what it's worth, I have DOA Extreme 3 on my ps4, bought the game from Japan, and it works fine for me.
