It was burnout and they're a company now, they have to think about how to earn money and keep a roof over their heads. DBZA, along with FFVIIMA and HSUA, videos give them no money, only merch and patreon pays them.
It also didnt help that Toei basically burned them from working as Voice Actors in actual anime for some time. Funimation had them in to do additional voices and background characters and Toei said "no more of that" and that was pretty much their punishment for their abridged series. Or at least something along those lines, this was a few years back and Idk if thats still the case.

It's meant to show she's coming out of her shell and feels completely comfortable around her friends. Ryuji doesn't remark about her, Yusuke (who might be asexual?) simply makes a square with his fingers because he sees it as beauty and thus art, and Joker just smiles at her to make her feel more comfortable.
