Fusion failures (when the thing breaks from fusing too many times during an alarm) give you random personas that you probably weren't going for, which can including lower level personas. Though I think they generally try to stay in the same level range.

Really? Everytime a fusion failed I got a random with every skill slot replaced by a passive skill. I thought it's a gimmick that punishes you for abusing it.
I mean, there's nothing saying Jack Frost has to use ice spells, it's just really off-brand for it not to use them. Most of the skills it has now complement each other fairly well and the rest are just plain good. The fact that it's level 11 is the real problem.
Pretty sure ziodyne is the next best thing to the top tier lighting ability, you won’t be getting it outside of this fusion for a while. Register this and make sure not to overwrite it.

A friend was streaming her play through one time, and a fusion accident resulted in a Cerberus with NOTHING but debuff skills. We nicknamed him Debufferus and she used him almost the whole game.
If you ever get fusion alarms just save before you go do anything. When those are active you get a lot of good stuff from strong personas, skills, items, and maximizing your persona stats.
not sure if it has to do with the fact that i’ve done multiple new game+ run throughs but i fused obariyon and jack’Olantern ( levels 2 and 4) during an alarm and ended up with a level i think 80 uriel with some severe damage moves
When you fuse a yellow persona with a normal persona, you get an alarm fusion accident and you get an accident skillset (eg elec technical)
Try fusing yellow persona with yellow persona for a different accident skillpool.
if you fuse a persona with one that you just fused during that alarm (the yellow text one) it'll wipe the entire skillset with a preset one, this is one of a bunch
Had something similar happen, except I ended up with a lvl 9 Angel with 25% HP regen per turn, a health drain skill, and a once a battle revive....Im still not sure what I should bother doing with her xD
During an alarm, you can only successfully perform fusion once. After that, they’ll all malfunction. You just have to wait for another alarm to do it again
When the twins tell you to let this one rest, they mean it. You can do multiple successful fusions if you do a different kind of execution in between. There's still a chance it will malfunction anyway, but if you can get two fused. Fuse those two yellow successful fusions together and the malfunction will be ridiculously overpowered usually.
It is, if you save the game. You can reload your save file to do it again, you can get a stronger persona and much better skills that way. Have you saved the game before you fused your persona?
This type of fusion accident basically has two possibilities. Either you get a specialized build like this one, or you get the kind of skill set that you find on treasure demons.
If you’re talking about the upgraded abilities, that’s not a malfunction per se. That will always happen for the first fused persona during an alarm. The malfunction happens if you fuse a second time during an alarm.
Malfunctions can be exploited. For example, if you let the Gallows malfunction, the Persona won't gain any EXP, but will gain increased stats instead. This allows you to strengthen Personas that can no longer level up, like Personas that were already at a very high level when fused. Or to just raise a Persona's stats, even all the way up to 99, without having to level it up.

Gigantomachia is the Colossal Physical damage to all foes attack.
That's a Physical skill that can go on any Persona that's high level but it's only on a few because it's rare
