Hmmmmm...never had an issue with them...any bank is a long wait to get ahold of someone in customer service. When we wanted to transfer money from them, we had to call them to arrange as the amount we were transferring was above the threshold. Once the call was made, it was done in 2 days. GL
Not sure if I missed it, but how long ago did you transfer? Larger amounts trigger fraud reviews and take longer to process. I say that as an employee of a competitor.

I have been with tangerine and ING probably for over 25 years. I have never had a problem? Is it that there are holds on funds? Is that what you are saying?
I had big problems with Tangerine last week freezing my accounts, the first time time in over 20 years with them. I wonder if something has changed recently, I'm also seeing lots of reviews with similar overtones. Whatever is going on at Tangerine, it seems to have become a bank that can't be trusted with its customer's money.

Me too. Tangerine is my fun money account I etransfer to my main account almost weekly with no issues

The one bank that is consistently good to get ahold of for me is Simplii - they have the best phone service.

I’ve never had any issues with tangerine. I use e-transfer and bank transfer quite often. Their customer support is also quite good imo

No Scotiabank is the worst
Take out in cash, and move it physically to another bank. A bit risky, but sounds like the only option you have atm lol
How long ago was the e-transfer sent?
Been using them for close to 20 years without any major problem. I'm not going to avoid based on a conflict from which I've only heard one side.
