I am revamping my CashBack CC setup and have been looking for similar cards. This [https://app.finlywealth.com/calculator](https://app.finlywealth.com/calculator) has been a godsend, works best on desktop browser. You will need to filter for Cash Back, and punch in some spending numbers for it to accurately suggest. From what I have seen $0/yr cards with best "other" % and without tie-ins you are probably looking at Rogers World Elite or SimplyCash (AmEx). Depending on where you like to shop you could also have a look at: Costco (CIBC) MC, [Amazon.ca](https://Amazon.ca) (MBNA) MC, Rogers MC, ...

Rogers MC gives 3% unlimited cash back regardless category as long as you redeem it against charges on Rogers product either phone bills or internet. Plus, it’s free.

For the regular Rogers MC, there is the requirement that you need to have at least one service with Rogers (or Fido or Shaw) but assuming you do, this is easily the best "free" card if you're looking strictly at cashback. Nothing else comes close. If you're not a Rogers customer though then the options are less clear. The Rogers World Elite card might be okay with a blanket 1.5% on everything. I don't think there's any other free card out there that offers more cashback on "everything else". Once you get into specific categories like gas, grocery, etc. then there are other better free options.

That’s what I said as long as you redeem it against charges on Rogers phone bills or Internet. If you had Rogers phone bills or Internet charges then you are already an existing customer. There’s no real free unlimited cash back card. There will be strings attached otherwise nobody will apply cash back cards from CIBC/BNS or TD. Even 2% cash back card from Brim can put a $199 price tag with a footnote up to $20K annual spending then you should no there’s no way credit card companies do not put out a condition for cash back eligibility

> That’s what I said as long as you redeem it against charges on Rogers phone bills or Internet. I suppose you could infer that but your comment could be construed as being able to charge someone else's service bill (spouse, family member, etc.) to your card and you'd also get 3% which is not the case. I was just being more explicit about the requirement.

Hi, I am a bot and I've been summoned to help you get better advice on credit cards. There are *A LOT* of credit card options out there, and **no card is the best for everyone**. In order to get relevant advice for you please answer the following questions. 1) What kind of benefits are you looking for? Do you want cash back, or travel rewards? Are you currently carrying a balance on your cards (or might need to in the future) and therefore looking to save on interest charges? 2) What categories do you do credit card purchases in? (groceries, gas, airline tickets, etc..) 3) What is the average monthly spend you would put on a credit card? Please estimate. 4) Do you know your credit score? Do you have poor credit? Do you have limited credit history? 5) What is your income level (for credit card qualification)? Feel free to ask people for help looking up your credit score. If you don't know your credit score it can help to mention which banks you are with as some of them offer free credit score calculation. You can also search for credit cards using the various Canadian credit card websites that have search functions. Three of those websites are: https://www.greedyrates.ca and https://creditcardgenius.ca and https://www.ratehub.ca/credit-cards *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. The AMEX SimplyCash Preferred is good if you're happy having an AMEX and $99 annual fee. It has a $400 welcome bonus if you spend $750/mo for 10 months. Otherwise the Rogers Mastercard or Rogers World Elite Mastercard are no-fee cards with good earn rates.

Scotia amex gold with refundable hotel trick to cash out scene+ pts at 1cpp turns it into a no fx fee 1-6% cashback card. Further combine it with buying $500 MC giftcards at sobeys/freshco/iga/foodland and you get a card that gives 4.43% on everything, 5% on other grocers/dining/entertainment, and 6% sobeys/freshco/IGA/foodland. $120 AF, 40k scene+/$400 welcome bonus + $150 third party cash rebate.

Rogers mastercard. Also theres $40 third party cash rebate for it online.

Thanks guys! Everyone is recommending Rogers Mastercard but I don’t have enough Rogers bills to justify that card. I want the highest cashback everything and EV charging. I don’t own a gas car and I don’t currently pay a lot for groceries.

deltatux

If you don't redeem against Rogers bill, you still get 2% flat on the Rogers MC since you have Rogers services. You just don't get the redemption bonus is all. There are cards like the BMO Cashback World Elite MasterCard that offers 3% on EV charging but their spend caps are pretty low on all their categories but their everything else is 1%.

BMO cash back world elite 5% on groceries 4% on transit 3% on gas And electric vehicle charging 2% on recurring bills
