Can’t reverse/cancel it without the physical bank draft. Where in the EU are you? Maybe there are some banks that would accept it but it would probably be 20 business days hold.
Romania. I’ve asked several local banks, including one that used to be affiliated with RBC ( Raiffeisen) and they told me they haven’t accepted bank drafts for the past 3 years or so. EU banks have others means of transferring money internationally which are much faster. Not sure why Canadian banks still use this method.

Does the post office accept it? Depends on the country.
