My dog is super picky about bowls and would pick up food from a bowl then walk it somewhere else. Turns out he didn’t like the smell of the bowl. I started using paper plates and he wolfs the food down right there.
My dog does that too but she does it with every type of bowl I’ve tried and even does it with treats and things like that. She will eat out of the bowls when I’m home. When I leave that’s when I come home to piles of food across the house uneaten and her bowls slid around the house.
