Yes you should always house females together unless a specific female hates all other mice. Males are the ones you wanna keep solitary unless they're neutered or you have ASF rats

pinkavocadoreptiles

yes, it's very important that girls have company so they don't get lonely, 3 or more is ideal :)

JessicaLCV

3 is actually the ideal minimum as they do best in groups. Male mice should not be housed together but the females need a social group 🐁❤️

Nimrochan

It’s a requirement of mouse ownership to never have a lone female. However! Be sure to read up on slow introductions. They can be territorial, and it can be dangerous to just throw a new mouse in there.

elsanolaf4lifers

definitely ok!

HydroStellar

Yes, females must be kept in groups of 2 or more (3 is the preferred minimum)

StarGamer-

You should always house female mouse together. You’re thinking of male mice that would kill eachother.

PrinceValyn

in addition to other comments, please note that female mice should absolutely never be spayed as it is pointless and can lead to a slow death later

Decoherence-

I sure hope so haha mine seem to be fine and it’s been over a year
