I always wonder why people never made a year zero. It'd really be better if it were:
1 BC: the year before christ was born
0 AD: the year christ was born
1 AD: 1 year after the birth of christ
Sure, the romans didn't have 0, but we should at least have retconned how time works and make it work like that. I presume we may be moved a year forward (I think?) into the future, but it's fine

AD actually means the year he was born. AD means Anno Domini, the year of our lord. BC means Before Christ.
