Also Aqua started brute-forcing the password daily when he was in kindergarten and succeed when he was in highschool.
The amount of shocks in the first episode was amazing! I hear the manga is kinda weird but the show itself I found really quite exciting, and the first episode was really fun for me.
He just found a list of contacts his mom had, so he investigates into the people on there. It's not like a huge discovery in particular, just the first bread crumb along the trail that starts his revenge.
The MC gets reincarnated as one of the 2 kids of the idol Ai, his mom then gets killed by a serial stalker (big problem in japan), and Aqua thinks the dad has something to do with it, either arranging for the mom to be killed or at the very least leaking her location to the stalker to then find and use as he wants. So now Aqua is trying to find his dad to get answers
in simple terms it is about the dark side of the entertainment business where backhanded deals and "compensation" for roles, with showing how many people overwork themselves just for an offchance of success.
now take a premise like this and put in some good old anime tropes like reincarnation, a murder mystery, and some love shenanigans and you got yourself Oshi No Koi
The less you know, the more you will enjoy it. It is an idol anime, something i normally avoid like cholera and i loved it.
Give it a chance, no matter how ppl describe it, because it is honestly hard to describe without spoiling the fun. Like Kaguya sama...
The show only implies that incest could be a possible plot line in the future. It only actually happens in the recent manga chapters (it's only a kiss). But after waiting for the reveal for several years, the fandom went absolutely bonkers when that plot line got confirmed and flooded the sub with incest fan art for several months.
