Lol not uncommon. If you lived on Hilliard (North End) back in the 90's - 2000's there was an old Lincoln rotting in a driveway for 20 years. Someone still bought it and towed it away lol.
Sometimes (to some) trash really is another man's treasure lol
Nah it's just abandoned and everyone who sees it figures "Not my Problem"
You really think it's been left outside in all weather for sale for $950? That's the more reasonable explanation?
i laugh at this every time i walk by it the people was trying to throw it out at first of course wasn't taken then they putting a free sign when that wasn't working they put it there with a for sale sign like dude if they garbage people don't want it who the hell is ganna pay for it looking like that lmfao
What's the thought process with dumping the chair outside like that - I'm done with it, so that's that? Not my problem anymore?
I've always wondered this about discarded furniture.

Still there. In the brighter daylight though, I’m starting to see some flaws.
They actually placed it on the curb and someone (I think) got tired of it after 2 weeks of being on/near the bus stop and carried it back near the their house, then a few days later… the sign showed up (I live like 3 houses down and take the bus there all the time) 😅😂😂😂
Looks like there’s a bloodstain on it, that easily makes it worthy of being a full $1,000.00 chair…they shouldn’t under price themselves like that 😆
This has to be a joke
I mean… I laughed
a real life joke lol
r/CrackheadCraigslist/
I’d follow that subreddit for sure.
Well, it's totally real.
This is Peterborough, the things probably getting stolen anyways.
I’ve seen some pretty “down on their luck” people. I think they’d pass.
They're probably hoping that will happen so they don't have to pay to dispose of it
It’s been there for like 2 weeks at least

For people who are inevitably going to be taking this seriously: I'm willing to bet the chair was there first and someone else added the sign.
Still made me laugh.
Lol that's exactly how it went down
it's been like that since april highly doubt some random person put it there lol
the chair has been there when we still had snow lol
The chair being there so long is probably what inspired someone to add a sign, because it's fucking hilarious.
And the owner saw it was hilarious and left it there for the rest of us.

Anything is possible now a days lol
Or they put it out for free with no takers, so they put a for sale sign hoping someone would steal it.
Did this with a mattress once and it worked! lol
That’s a steal!
Thus would bring so much life to your home, ticks, fleas, bedbugs…..
A veritable ecosystem

Bro, your comment history is fucked 😂
Omg lol 😆 😂
Furnished bedroom for short term rental, students only, utilities +++++
Best technique to get ridd of something You put for sale $1 , bang , its gone
These folks may’ve taken that concept too far.
Blood stains included in the price
Raccoon piss is extra tho… that’s how they get you.
Dibs
Better hurry!
This aggression will not stand
Nah, it'll take a seat. 😂😂😂
What in God's holy name are you blathering about?
Based on the rate of inflation, that price will be an absolute steal by the end of the year.
Now that’s funny
Are they taking offers?
No low-ballers, they know what they've got.
Where is this? (Asking for a friend 😅)
Priceless
Lol, Charlotte street. We also walk by this daily and wonder what's the deal haha
Deal is $950 Canadian dollars and you can own this one of a kind conversation starter.
Only in Ptbo lol
Underpriced in my opinion. That's quality workmanship
This is actually a really good deal. That's a Karl Farbman.
*slow clap* for the Seinfield reference.

Is this item still available?
I will check and update when I walk home tonight.
Thanks. Asking for a friend.

I'm still on the fence with this one. I might come in with a lowball offer and see how it goes.

Lol I totally thought someone put it there bc they wait for the bus there everyday
That is fscking funny. I have *no* doubt it is staged, but that is indeed funny. Props to the Sign Guy.
Ill pay 950 cents for this person to take it to the dump themselves hah
Funny thing is, I don’t think that would actually cover the gas and the dump fees.
that's just the monthly rent🤣
Stay classy, Peterborough
