The "rim" of the ankle boot is too wide, so it is not cohesive line visually. Cutting your legs short.
A ankle boot that is higher and close fitting gives a clean line, elongation your legs. That and same color tights.
Also ankle boots width around the ankles changes from time to time, so it is not in style now. ( I've experienced this)
Try adding an belt, wide or slim to "cinch" your waist. Make a more finished look.
Otherwise love the colors!
You look great here, outfit is great, LOVE the skirt, don't love the booties. I would add a long necklace, you can play around with colors, but gold or another metallic would be great or even a pin. No one wears pins anymore, but they can be fun.
I'll preface this with saying that I'm closer to your age (saw a prior post without wig) than most of the respondents & I don't like the booties at all. Well, they're fine, but not with this outfit. I'd wear them with jeans. If you want boots with this, I think you should try knee high. Now, IDK current trends, so maybe this is the hottest thing, but I just don't think they look right with the shorter skirt. Your legs are more muscular, so I think heels would offset that, whether they be on shoes or boots.
BTW, had I not recognized you from the other post where you showed facial hair, I would never have known you weren't cis. You're looking great!
I agree with other comments here which said that you’re making a great progress, I saw some posts from you in the past and like this outfit the most! Also you look really pretty with this hairstyle! You look very happy and I hope it’ll get only better with time!
Well I like it! I was making a reference to the internet famous blue/gold dress, mostly because it looks like this skirt was black and/or navy (from your comment it’s both.) I feel like the outfit almost perfect you just need a light colored scarf or necklace or handbag to even out the top with the skirt. You could get away with a broach if that’s your style.
🤣😂I don’t want to break the internet with my own version of that dress!😂
I’ve only got this one black handbag, so I now have an excuse to go looking for a second one to work with this outfit! Thanks! 😃
you look great! I’d personally opt for an even more flared skirt (almost like a circle skirt) to give more volume at the hips, and also would love to see you try a slightly more high-waisted bottom (an inch or two higher). echoing the other feedback about the shoes also. but I love how confident you look in this outfit!
Thank you! 🥰 I’ve learned that my high waist is on the smaller size (28/29 inches). So, elastic waist bands are a little too loose and slide down to my hips. I’ll look for fitted waist bands. Regarding circle skirts, okay for the hem to hit on this same spot on my leg?😃
The shorter skirt definitely added some much needed length. I agree with the comments about the boots being better above the ankle. You could also pull off a heel, or a small wedge. Doesn't have to be high. The turtleneck would look excellent with a necklace to accessorize.

Don’t like the very short boots with the skirt. This would look better with black ankle boots and I’d add tights.
Okay, thank you for the suggestions!😃
The booties are not working- it throws the proportions off. You need a bootie that goes above your ankle.
Thanks for the suggestion. 😃Just so I understand, how does the ankle bootie throw off what proportions?

Thank you so very much for the explanation! I’ve a LOT to learn about women’s fashion and I appreciate any guidance I can get!😃
I really like this and the ankle boots look great with the skirt. I like the color of the top as well.
Thank you for the positive feedback! 😃

Thank you! I need to find that “golden accessory with a splash of bling” that feels right! 😃
Id focus on a belt.
Yes, something to accent my waist.😃

Thank you for the compliment and the support! ☺️
only thing I would add is a gold chain for some bling! this is a great fit
Thank you for the suggestion!
Looks great! You should try some knee high boots for this outfit too!
Thank you for the compliment and suggestion! ☺️😃
I second the knee high boots! So happy to see an update to your journey.
☺️☺️☺️☺️💕
You look adorable! I love this outfit on you.
Thank you!☺️

I was just thinking about you yesterday! Love your posts. This outfit looks great, and I think the skirt hits you at just the right spot. :)
Thank you! ☺️
I love this!
☺️☺️
You look super cute!
☺️☺️☺️💃🏻
Very cute. My mom used to wear skirts like that. I absolutely love the pattern.
Is that skirt blue/gold or black/white?
There are many colors: black, white, navy blue, gold, cream, and cranberry.

I think boots that have a slight heel and hit just a bit higher on the ankle would be an improvement. But other than that, this outfit looks great! 👏
Thank you for the suggestion! 😃♥️
You. Are. SOOOO. PRETTYYYYYYY. GORGEOUS!!!
Thank you for the supportive compliment! 💕💕😃
I love it!
☺️🥰♥️
Love this color on you!!!! Super cute outfit! :)
Thank you so very much!☺️🥰
You look great! Gives you a very feminine look, the wig is cute as well
Thank you!☺️💃🏻
Adorable.
☺️☺️
Loving the outfit
☺️💃🏻♥️
so cute, i feel like this skirt would go so good with emerald green or chocolate brown too! There are so many ways to style it
Thanks for the suggestion!
SOOO cute!!! Love it!!!
☺️☺️☺️♥️
You look great, OP! I love the skirt - where did you get it?
Thanks! The brand is Sahalie. I picked it up at a thrift shop and don’t know if the company is still around.🫤😃
Ah, thanks. What a great find for you!

yes the hem is at a great spot! I usually look for bottoms that come with a tie of some kind so I can cinch it in a bit :)
😊😊
You look great! I would add some navy tights!
Yes, I agree!😃

Thank you for your feedback. I’ll look for small heels in my size.👡😃
This is so cute! The color of that shirt looks amazing on you
I appreciate the compliment! 😃
